I'm in the same boat, can't login. Arc login works fine but Neverwinter Launcer just says what others are seeing. I flushed DNS, cleared my DNS cache on my DNS servers, etc
My launcher.playneverwinter.com is resolving to 208.95.185.61. NS records for that zone point to ns1.crypticstudios.com and ns2.crypticstudios.com.
I would add the gateway is working fine for me. That's given me something to do. I'm checking out prices on stuff http://gateway.playneverwinter.com/

So I sit in a TeamSpeak channel listening to my friends gain levels on their characters and I can't even log in because of an authentication failed error after how long of a wait?
Well, it's now 8:05 pm server time (11:05 pm my time) and lo and behold, I'm still not able to log into the game. I have released/renewed my ip, I've flushed the DNS, rebooted the router. This is pretty ridiculous and I've about had it.
I've gone through Arc, the launcher alone, etc. There is zero excuse for this.
Same, I was able to get on when they brought the servers back on line after the initial release crash. Then I had to go to school and when I get back I can't even get past the section to get a "play" button.
So much for having a nice relaxing time creating a pally and hanging out in game with my guildies.
*sigh* I can log into the gateway to see my crafting... But not the game.
**Update** I was able to log in by going to my start button, all programs, games folder, and launch never winter from that location.
Still cannot load in from Arc or my desktop shortcut.
**Update again, it was short lived. Was disconnected from the server and now not able to get back in again...
I make a little investigation and what's results. Laucnher try connect to accounts.crypticstudios.com:7004. If you test it with online scanners it's UP and work. But if you test it with your PC or router it is down. This is result from tracert:

So you can try fix this by using 3rd party VPN servers or redirect all traffic through external proxy, probably not in your country. Set proxy server inside launcher doesn't work for me. I think do you need somethink like Proxifier.
I'm having the same problem. There's another thread in here with several people having this issue. Thus far there doesn't seem to be any ETA on when it will be fixed.

Edit: Nevermind, you can log in but the game won't start. Says "unable to connect to account server (3)"

They've been told, sadly. And there has been total silence since from both mods and devs.
