XB1 Question for nvrwinter: Why wont it let me connect with my friends? do you have to be a certain lvl? or is there a certain amount of quest u have to do? plz help
Not exactly sure what problem you are having here. But I'm going guess that it's because you are in separate instances. The fix for that is here.
-Can't Change Instance/Join Party Member's Instance
A fix is in the work for this, but we do have a work-around:
Hit the menu button, go to Quests > Change Instances > Select the Instance you want or the instance that your party is in.
what would you say is the best companion? Im talking if i would only ever be able to buy or get one in the entire game? I don't care if its from the Zen shop, bazaar or any other shop.
Greetings, me and a friend rolled our first characters yesterday and stumbled upon what we see as a potential difficulty in regards to the classes we created. I chose a warlock, my friend whipped up a wizard. Following the tutorial, and entering the first city while following the quest line, we started clearing the temple and discovered a loot curiosity, leading me to question our class blend, considering we like to play co-op as often as we can. We need to understand the class "type" loot stashes that we found, and the impact it will have on our general wealth and ability to grind out crafting skills.
To get to the point, we obviously can only access the arcana loot stashes, and only one of us can get the goodies. Were either of us a rogue or warrior, no problem, just get the other stash designated for your type. I personally wish we could play the classes we selected initially, and we have a third person incoming soon.
If we wish to co-op, do we all have to avoid the others' class type so we can get the loot amount equivalent to what we would have if we were questing solo? Is it this way in dungeons and such, places where groups are required? In the grand scheme, are these stashes relevant and prevalent enough to warrant the concern?
In closing my newb post, I would like to thank you and other NW vets who take the time to shorten the learning curve of others. Cheers.

Get an augment companion, such as an Ioun Stone or a Cat. All of the stats put on them via gear/runestones are given to you as well, making you way more powerful.

You can buy kits that allow you to open all of them from any of the gold vendors.
1) When/Where can I respec my class so I can try out different builds? How much does it cost?
2) Are the Tyrannical Lockboxes worth spending the "real money" on for keys to open them? I have 91 of them and I'm only level 29 so it kind of feels like they are only common items out of those?
3) The only way to buy a Teleport scroll is by spending 4,000 AD? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if later on AD comes easier but I only have 4,100 AD at level 29 and I haven't spent a single one.. 4,000 AD seems really steep to just teleport back to town..
4) How do you turn off that annoying "ADMIN BLAHBLAH RECIEVED BLAH BLAH" spamming my screen?
5) Is there a way to edit the "CHAT CHANNELS" eg: I want just my Guild chat to be in 1 chat channel then the main chat channel I want to turn off "Battle Logs" or whatever you call the "BLANK HAS ROLLED A 3" chat logs..
6) Is there another Forum for this game's Xbox One version? This forum seems really "dead" and I was wondering if there was another community forum with more activity?
I have a couple questions concerning the Trickster Rogue in PvP...
1) When/Where can I respec my class so I can try out different builds? How much does it cost?
2) Are the Tyrannical Lockboxes worth spending the "real money" on for keys to open them? I have 91 of them and I'm only level 29 so it kind of feels like they are only common items out of those?

PC player trying to help out:
to 1) We can respec for free on the preview server, I dont know, if there is one for xbox. The cost depend on your progression, if you want to respec feats. A full respec chosts zen.
to 2) No. You might get good items, but you might win the lottery, too.
to 3) You will get more AD, but dont spent them on teleport scrolls. Keep this one till you are done with the pirate skyhold. You will thank me for this tip.
to 4) not possible.
to 5) There should be a small gear in the top left corner of your cat window to edit it.
Thanks for the answers but for #5 I want to add that I do not see a "gear" in the top left corner of the chat window..
Are you just referencing from PC because I know how to on the PC but the Xbox version I'm clueless.. There doesn't seem to be many "Options" you can change for the game..

As I said, PC player trying to help out, so yes, thats the PC version. My next try would be the game setting window. Otherwise you will have to wait for a Xbox player with expirience.
1) When/Where can I respec my class so I can try out different builds? How much does it cost?
Not sure of the prices on xbox one, but they aren't cheap, its either 71k AD for just a feat respec (lvl 60), or whatever it is on the zen market
Are the Tyrannical Lockboxes worth spending the "real money" on for keys to open them? I have 91 of them and I'm only level 29 so it kind of feels like they are only common items out of those?
It's Neverwinters equivalent of gambling. Maybe you get lucky, maybe you don't
The only way to buy a Teleport scroll is by spending 4,000 AD? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if later on AD comes easier but I only have 4,100 AD at level 29 and I haven't spent a single one.. 4,000 AD seems really steep to just teleport back to town..
They are extremely overpriced, and not worth buying
4) How do you turn off that annoying "ADMIN BLAHBLAH RECIEVED BLAH BLAH" spamming my screen?
You can't, PC players have been complaining about that for a while now.
5) Is there a way to edit the "CHAT CHANNELS" eg: I want just my Guild chat to be in 1 chat channel then the main chat channel I want to turn off "Battle Logs" or whatever you call the "BLANK HAS ROLLED A 3" chat logs..
Yes, create a new chat view from the chat menu accessed via the cog or xbox equivalent
6) Is there another Forum for this game's Xbox One version? This forum seems really "dead" and I was wondering if there was another community forum with more activity?
That's probably because new users have to wait a certain period of time before they can post new threads, and all of the xbox players are creating accounts now. This is the most active community forum.
Where can i get another storage bag?? brought with ingame currency or earned, thanks
You will recieve a total of 3 bags for free as you level to 60, one in Neverdeath, one in Blacklake, and the one you start off with.
Extremely rarely, a 20 slot Dragon Cult Bag will drop from the Tiamat encounter found in the Well of Dragons. Bags can also be bought from the Zen store by converting AD to Zen via the AD/Zen exchange.
Care to explain the events? I must have missed it. I see rotation of events such as Dungeon Delves, but am not what the rewards are. Is there some time of rewards for completing a dungeon during a dungeon event?
I am stuck in the Sewers at level 7, I cannot kill the boss at the end of the level. It also won't let me exit the sewers. I abandoned the quest and it still won't let me go back to town. What else can I do? Thanks.

Have you got in touch with the support team? They will help you try and sort this issue out thanks.
I know many of you are probably new to the game, and as a PC player that plans to play both console and PC, I figured I'd help all of you new players out by offering my expertise on general gameplay and the control wizard class. I'm a guild leader of a decent sized guild on PC (Don't have an XB1 affiliated guild but we are considering it), and a moderator in the NW_Legit_Community channel, which is over 6000 members! I've been playing this game on PC since November 2013, and I participated in the XB1 Closed Beta!
I'd say I'm fairly knowledgeable on this game, so feel free to ask me any questions you have! Post them in this thread, and I'll do my best to answer them in a timely fashion!

Check out this link for information on events and their rewards. Basically, if you participate in the event type that is listed during the window of time they give you, you'll get something extra at the end. Also note that this list is based on the PC version so some of the events might not be on the xbox version yet (like Foundry, etc): http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Event

If you are a CW, I'd recommend using Conduit of Ice, Sudden Storm, Icy Terrain, and Chill Strike in the Spell Mastery Slot. For your daily, use oppressive force, and for class features, use Evocation and Chilling Presence.
For a new player, do the dailies offered by Rhix. They allow you to level up and make AD at the same time. They're also good for making AD once you hit lvl 60.
The best way to make AD is via the leadership profession. This profession takes a long time to really become profitable, but if you plan on playing long term, leadership is the way to go.
Is there any difference between builds for X1 and pc? like skill modification or something like that
There is a slight difference in builds for PC and XB1, and that gap is going to grow considerably when the next mod is released on Tuesday for PC, as it contains a level cap raise!
For XB1, your builds are equivalent to the mod 4/5 builds of PC players. Follow those builds for now, they will do you well.
