I especially like it how they ask us to "enjoy our time" playing this evening...
I grimaced too... *chuckles* On the bright side, a very large number of players are not being affected. Still, it's no console for those of us affected. I am being affected too, as are a the other Moderators. We're all showing Cogencto in our issues though, as it seems most everyone else who's posted traces also are. This leads me to believe there is indeed some issue on Cryptic's end but it's being vastly compounded by the Cogentco network.
Current reported connection issues are still unknown.
Safe travels,

I'm curious how crypt and yourself come up with the 25-50% of the players?
Cause to me and many others who are in game, almost everyone has the same issue.

Sorry, that's just an estimate of Community related reports. It's not based off of any in-house data by Cryptic. Updated to make removed that to not cause further drama! I failed to color properly and specify. My bad!
For future reference, when I, myself, post things, I use two colors as follows: Orange = Official (We've either spoken directly with Cryptic, or are Relaying for them, or have Informed them of the Issues mentioned and may be waiting response, or are making an Official Community Related post, depending on situation - which should be clear in the wording of the post).

I've had the same issues. It took forever to finally get everyone checked and invoked, but I finally got it done. Whew! Hope they can get it sorted tomorrow.

I honestly hope they end up extending the event because of these issues
+1 to this.
Me too and i don't mind if the maintenance would take 5 hours but at least sounds fair to increase the event with 1 day since i get Server Not Responding... followed by disconnected, often in the last 10 hours or so.
Until it's fixed/or fixes itself in time , i stop to do any dungeon type that i can handle. As tanker, the party relies on me and i don't like to disappoint.
Even if im working on Foundry and i don't do event or dungeon the Server Not Responding is annoying.
When Forsaken World was in beta in March 2011, almost 3 days PWE America had massive DDOS attacks (worldwide too,http://www.networkworld.com/article/2181743/voip/massive-ddos-attacks-a-growing-threat-to-voip-services.html) right when an event was started so the players got extra 3 days of something special. Ironic isn't it ? A chinese company from america to get DDOS attacks from China..
I was playing in Forsaken World beta when the massive DDOS attacks on March 2011 flooded the internet.
open beta player of some PWE games - north america launched versions:
- PWI - November, 2008 (2 months after North-America-West Coast open beta)
- Forsaken World - open beta
- BOI - open beta
- Star Trek Online - ftp January, 2012 and rank 14 STO Wiki contributor
- Neverwinter open beta June, 2013 Daily Foundry "Canyon of the Dead" ( NW-DBPJYKMRE ) - dungeon
Add me to the list of players that can't play due to dreadful lag: 'server not responding (60.++ seconds)'
I used to have an Orion slave girl, then PWE 'perfected' her, now all I have is this lousy signature

I can connect, but after ~15-20min it becomes very unstable and I get a very large latency.
Suggestions to improve NW:
- Dualspec
- Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
- Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
- Armory
- make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)
I'm having really bad lag. Rubberbanding, freezing, and actions not responding - "Server Not Responding" is also what I get. My graphic settings are set very low, so I don't think that is the issue.
Please fix soon so I can have m y graphics back up to good levels

I've been experiencing the "Server Not Responding" error message so frequently lately that I've had to quit playing for the evening.
Solutions I've tried to resolve the issue:
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- ipconfig /flushdns
- Virus & Malware scans using Kaspersky and Malwarebytes
- Optimized internet settings using "TCP Optimizer"

I'm not getting disconnected but I am getting a constantly slow frame rate. I only used to get it in Malabog's Castle when I went outside and when there were a lot of players fighting in one spot. Now its's constant.
There are times that I get the server is not responding msg for a full 2 minutes without being disconnected.. I am frozen mid frame during this time but oddly enough I am able to converse with people in game through party and zone chat, and people who are also lag locked are able to respond back as well... What is going on?

It takes awhile to get the launcher to even pop the " Play " button. Not sure if it's my network or the server's. Take a long while to load up the map, once I'm on. Can barely even move. Character's being thrown all over the place. Worst part's that it walks and jumps around on its own. lmao.

I grimaced too... *chuckles* On the bright side, a very large number of players are not being affected. Still, it's no console for those of us affected. I am being affected too, as are a the other Moderators. We're all showing Cogencto in our issues though, as it seems most everyone else who's posted traces also are. Thanks for the update Zeb!
I just tried it through Steam and got in without any trouble, and so far no crashes to speak of.
It's likely not a fix, but it may work for others as well. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
For future reference, when I, myself, post things, I use two colors as follows:
Orange = Official (We've either spoken directly with Cryptic, or are Relaying for them, or have Informed them of the Issues mentioned and may be waiting response, or are making an Official Community Related post, depending on situation - which should be clear in the wording of the post).
Baby Blue = Personal Post that doesn't necessarily reflect the views of PWE/Cryptic.
Any other colors that I use are meant as signifies to draw attention or make things stand out to be more clear, in either case.
