This is all about the problems in the middle of the net. There is a peering war going on between some of the "Tier 1" core providers fighting over traffic flow. These are affecting things all over the net.

hard times for moderators...and we've seen all sorts of posts today..ive noticed that not many have noticed that :
(and i go into the voice of the guy in "Aliens 3")
here are the facts as we know them..
the server is down and we are aware..
there are no known hardware failures..
our software is up to date...
it appears as tho there is an external network failure..
what part of "We are protecting you from a hack" do you not understand?

What about those players that due to being unable to login and invoke lost multiple days worth of celestial coins?
No I do not mean myself as I log in several times a day to invoke.
Just got all 6 of my characters back up to 4 after my beta weekend on the "other" game. I imagine it will be gone when I finally get to log on ...cest le vie
I'm more bummed about the lost AD's but I'll get over that too
Chances are that, just like Caturday, they are gone. Luckily for me, i invoke at least twice a day so i can TRY to avoid the situation (again.)
we shouldnt have to take precautions like this( i also invoke twice a day and got all my characters) but still 9 hours of not being able to get on is a little ridiculous.

I for one am glad they are doing that. I don't know what the exact information on the issue is, but i'm content to wait to play a game they have created for us. I don't mind waiting especially if they are indeed protecting us from a hack. lol

uhm...if all the characters were to be gone forever what happens to the people who have actually spent money on the game? What they paid for is just gone with no recompense?

Moot question, as the characters aren't gone. They've already stated that it was a networking issue, not a data issue.

Yeah except it's also good to spend them on sparks for Sharandar using 6 coins for 50 sparks since upgrades require so many.
