I've paid to win? Wow, that's news to me! (Just cleared 8k GS, running the new campaign stuff. Finally got rid of the last greens on my main! )
- in the interest of proper disclosure, I did pay $40 back at the start. Like I do ($20-40) with most f2p games that I decide I like enough to keep playing - it's less than the price of a full game, but giving the devs something seems right. Used that zen on character slots, a bag, a $5 horse, some crafting junk and a handful of keys. Since then, everything I've bought has been from exchanging AD for zen. /shrug
That's a good first step, admitting you've only paid to win a little bit. Still in denial stage, but i'm sure you'll get there eventually.
Don't bother, that guy is a troll. Check his avatar and signature. He thinks it is funny, making fun of obese people.
FYI I'm a hardcore fan of HBB, you're the one making assumtions that it's to mock them, i think you're both a troll and a judgmental individual towards obese people.
Honestly, i don't know what you're doing on forums standing against every thread suggesting alternative ways to gain ad ingame when you're waddling around in 8k gs. If you're content with that, sure... but don't actively try to prevent others from being able to achieve higher goals than 8k without paying real money.

Love the new system, now I can have fun playing the campaign and salvaging the HAMSTER gear I get. Enough said.
The "other" ways are so slow it isn't even worth doing. 1mil ad will take months unless you spend 16 hour a day grinding daily foundries and such on all ur 7 characters.. Basically all you can do is professions, invoke, unrewarding dailies. That is not a recipe for a fun game
They're so slow I just picked up a 3500 zen mount and another 10 keys. Yep, so slow. And the exchange rate is about 375AD per zen at the moment. I think next I'll get a greater or perfect vorpal... after I get another ancient castle weapon to put it on. I figure it might take me a week to work up another million or two AD. Sure, it'd be faster to spend some cash, but I can wait a week I think.

I can't run cn because i dont have any vorpal or plague fire to begin with, and if i did i'd rather not pay 300k ad to remove it for an upgrade.

Not at all. I utilize multiple characters, run DDs and salvage, pvp and salvage, and do trade/AH. It's pretty common for me to make over 100k AD in a day. Salvaging/leadership lands an easy 24k on multiple characters a day alone. A couple good trade deals and boom, over 100k. Then it's all gravy.

lol 100k, probably from 7-8+ hours of playtime constantly grinding boring dailies etc, not impressed at all.

I wouldnt say its impossible to get...Just slower..
I used to be able to sell the drops from T2 d/d events for solid chunks of AD....Now instead, I get to salvage it for 5k AD...Its totally lame,, but makes sense for Cryptic cause it makes more $ for them in the form of zen

Title was to catch people's attention, it is not impossible, BUT, it is too slow. It is totally fine that is is slower, but there has to be limits for how slow they're going to make it. People are getting sick of the game by the time they earn enough ad for one normal weapon enchantment.
I'm actually happy with the changes. I was afraid i was going to have a shortage of unrefined AD, but with the salvage option i Have more useless rough AD than I can dream of. and growing everyday. by the time i have enough regular AD to purchase something Diablo 3 will be out on console and eos will be out, so it won't matter.

Closing this now thread now due to overwhelming amount of trolling and the direction of pay to win arguments.

You have no way of knowing if this is true.
I see your point.

I'm just not sure this is true. Furthermore that ring is NOT BoP.
How much did you net from the campaign so far? I think i'm at about minus 70-80k or something currently.

I rarely do any dailies.

20 posts could take an hour even while browsing during breaks at work.
Getting 100K AD regularly without exploiting would nowdays take much longer I would assume...
