Tournament Information

Tournament Rules
#1. Your team must consist of one of each class. This will help to give equal chance to everyone to participate, and in many peoples opinion increase the strategy available/required instead of a tank only node camping boredom fest!
#2. A players account can only be registered/participate with 1 team roster.
#3. Each team may have 1 substitute for each class registered
#4. Once you have been assigned an opponent and timeline, you must arrange the match within the given timeframe or forfeit. If the opponents fail to come to agreement on time or there is any form of dispute, please provide screenshot of communication.
#5. Only PVP Vendor Healing pots will be allowed. No Alchemy, Rejuv pots, etc. are allowed and will be considered an exploit, see Rule #6.
#6. Exploits will not be tolerated. (Perm ITC TR’s, etc.). It is recommended 1 member of each team either records the match with combat logging, tools such as FRAPS, or has a stream recorded of the match. If any dispute arises please submit any evidence you may have of the issue at hand.
#7. Gear swapping during matches is to be disallowed. With macros and 3rd party utilities, gear swapping can provide an extremely unfair advantage to certain people when done in combat (chained soulforge procs for example). Teams will be disqualified if any member is caught swapping gear during fights.
#8. Spawn camping within the "spawn zone" will not be allowed. I don't think anyone wants to see this, and would pretty unsportsmanlike.
#9. NEW: The GF Ferocious Reaction power has been banned. If you slot this passive during a match, your team will be disqualified.
#10. NEW: The GWF double daily exploit has been banned. If you get caught using 2 dailies as a GWF, your team will be disqualified.
#11. NEW: The GWF Spinng Strike Power has been banned. Do not use it in a match or your team will face disqualification.
#12. Have fun. Anything else goes. If you want to stack thunderhead, go for it. If you want to borrow a guildie's weapon or armor enchant, go for it. Whatever builds, whatever gear. Just bring your best!

Judges will not be allowed to participate in the tournament and will be responsible for settling disputes.

Contact opposing team captain and arrange date/time for the match to take place. (If an agreement cannot be made, please screenshot communications with other party. In the case where a match cannot take place within the 4 day grace period, it will go to the judging panel to decide the winner of the match at their own discretion/opinion)
#2 Log The Match
Have at least one person on your team running the 3rd party tool for combat log parsing called "Advanced Combat Tracker". It can be downloaded from the following site:

It requires 2 additional steps to be done before it is able to parse the in game log file:

---Once ACT has started, go to the options panel and click "Open Log" to locate the Neverwinter log file.
You can activate/deactivate the logging by doing the commands /CombatLog 1, and /CombatLog 0 in game.
#3 Video Record The Match
It is highly recommended at least one person from each team streams the match via sites such as http://twitch.tv or makes video recordings with utilities such as FRAPS. omgimabird99 did a GREAT article on how to record with fraps and another option, on page 9 of this thread. Go check it out if you are unfamiliar with video recording.
#4 Report Results
After match completion, the winning team should post a screenshot of the final scoreboard of each game that was played into this thread. This will let us update the bracket site, as well as record for additional prizes such as most kills, most assists, etc.
It would also be GREATLY appreciated if you included a link to any stream recordings or recorded videos of each match. There will be a lot of interested people in the community that would love to see some of Mindflayers PVP Best in action.
#5 File a Dispute
If problems arise and the match is being disputed. Please contact one of the listed judges and include all possible relevant information. Screenshots, logs, videos. It will be solely up to the discretion of the 3 judges on actions taken.
Based on placement come tournament end, the following choices will be available:
1st - Regular Armor/Weapon enchant of your choice (1 for each party member)
2nd - Rank 8 Enchant of your choice (1 for each party member -Standard enchants or runes only - no Savage)
3rd - Ancient mainhand weapon for each party member for his/her class.
At current market value, it equates to a total pool of close to 15mil AD. We know the market may fluctuate over the weeks to come, so how we propose we are going to do it is give the 1st place team, 1st choice on prize pool, second team the second choice, etc.
We are also considering a special prize for Most Points, Most Kills, and Most Assists
Again, still taking input/suggestions.

I have beaten your premades "consistently", so I guess we need to have a legit throwdown. Register up!
Rejuv pots are commonly banned on other shard tournaments as well. Its not an exploit, its a bugged mechanic. You can continuously chug rejuv pots with no cooldown. Nobody in their right mind wants to face a sentinal GWF spamming rejuv pots. Just not even fun.
The Good Book says the weak shall inherit, but I doubt they will progress terribly far in this tourney.

Ha, unless it's a new group learning, or we lost a person to DCing, I highly doubt this! BRANG ET. Oh okay, didn't know that about rejuv pots, I just use pots on the ground and don't bother with any of it. Whatever happened to Game Breakers, by the way? They were like the most feared and the past 6 matches I've had against them, even their toughest players, it was a fairly easy win. Too much credit card swiping, not enough playing I suppose. I think we'd like to sign up, look for Kilre, our head, he mentioned it to us the other day.
A solid premade of yours lost to one of ours today again. I am sure we have lost some to you. Both our guilds have pro's and casuals. Time to prove it up in the tourney, looking forward to some registration! :P
