Update: Thank you SO MUCH for your patience during this outage.
We have isolated the hardware failure and we are slowly bringing back all services, step by step, to ensure there are no more unexpected networking hardware issues.
The portal-wide beta test launch of a new game is an extremely exciting time for us and we thank you again for your continued patience and support as we work out the issues during this testing period. Be assured that we are absolutely committed to launching an excellent game and would like to thank all of our committed players during this time.
We'll have new hardware in place and us up, shined and secure, soon as we can. Thank you for being amazing, supportive players and helping spread the message while we get things resolved. We will keep you up to date as the situation progresses.
I find it funny how most of you ***** and moan about server problem's while your sitting on ur Asses doing nothing, least give the ppl working on the game some credit while there busting *** trying to fix the game problems ASAP. all u do is cry about this and that. **** happens get the fk over it.

bottom line if they had build and designed the game servers and network correctly with failover
fault tolerant morriored redundant cluster servers and switches and storage
this would never have happened and they would not be busting their asses as you put it..
they are busting *** now cause they went on the cheap on hardware originally,,
as the old saying goes,, you pay now or you pay later lol

I have gone through all the steps in the OP of this thread and my launcher still crashes every time I try to log in. It worked fine the first time I tried it, but all subsequent times it has crashed. I have also reinstalled the game 3 times.
my launcher isn't working at all =/ its been working fine until just, my game crashed, then I had a 1 hour break, and now.. when I log in then press START, it instantly crashes.

I have tried restarting my pc, tried running as Admin, checked all my processes for stuff to close, closed my antivirus n stuff so it has 100% access to play, still doesn't work =/ As soon as I click on Play, it auto crashes, like it doesn't have permission to load the game..
its either their servers currently messing up, or I will have to do a recent system restore and see if it works then o.o
also.. I have a theory that their servers dislike certain people.
Can someone please help me, i can't seem to open a new thread for god knows what reason so i'll just post this here.
Im level 22 and i have finished all quests (at least i think so) that were given to me by now except for some orc skirmish <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> i can't even find. Now, i've searched every god dam area and i can't find ANY quests whatsoever, im really getting tired of this **** just running around not knowing what to do. I usually HATE MMO games like wow or whatever with a passion but i decided to give this one a try anyway, and to my amazement i really like it despite the god awful graphics and stuff. BUT WHY THE FCK CAN'T I FIND ANY QUESTS, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ?
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE MAKE THE MAP ROTATE INSTEAD OF THE PLAYER, IT'S EXTREMELY DIFFICULT PLAYING LIKE THIS, IM LOOSING ORIENTATION ALL THE TIME, IT'S SICKENING !

NOTE: My launcher wasn't working, tried everything.. Just done a System Restore, already had the game downloaded but not installed, installed the game, and now the game works.
Well i've tried a reinstall now it wont get past patching...
Same thing is happening to me, it gets to 78.9MB/278MB and just freezes. I have not been able to get into the game for a couple days now because of this problem.
