Buddy, you probably should be upset about rogues not rouges. If you are worried about ranged rouges then its a girlfriend problem. Girlfriends always have the power throw makeup. I highly suggest you practice your active dodging skills or go hide from her. Its early launch weekend, go set your computer up over at a friends house, call in sick to school/work, get lots of mountain dew and cheetos, and try to convince a newbie to attack the darkness with magic missile.

The heck with the darkness, you need to watch out for the Dread Gazebo!
The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.

The ranged at wills of a rogue should be very weak, they are not a ranged class, they are given skills like stealth and a clone to make up for the fact that it has has slightly less armor and has to be in melee, giving it a spammable strong ranged attack defeats the entire purpose and challenge of playing the class properly, add my vote for nerfing rogues ranged at wills
The rouge is a striker. Their range at wills should deal damage appropriate to a ranged striker's at will.
What will make the difference is that the rouge's encounter powers are melee whereas a ranged striker will have ranged encounter powers and more (not better) ranged at wills.
Right now the trickster rouge is the only striker, so it's not reasonable to compare it's damage output to any other class unless you're expecting the rouge to come out ahead.

But the rouge class was replaced with the new rare class calling itself..... Mascara, wielding its special two handed weapon eye liner.

Spammable? Right. It has a total cooldown of 36 seconds (each knife has a cooldown of 3, and you only have 12 charges at any given time) - that is not spammable, my friend.

I think this very well sums it.
By my observations the Cloud of Steel power is balanced in design. The ability to keep pressure on an opponent while at range is a perfect trick for a Rogue, giving them an unexpected edge in situations that would otherwise cripple them. It's limited by a slowly recharging supply, which means the Rogue has to be judicious in its use and still try to stay in melee range as much as possible.
It needs to do a lot of damage because damage is all it's good for. That being said I don't know if the numbers are balanced in-game right now.

From what I've experienced with the daggers is:
1. They look HAMSTER, and really give a good rogue-ish feeling.
2. They are great for pulling.
3. You really have to hit with most, if not all of them to kill anything.
4. The cooldown is so long, that by the time you get enough back to do any real damage you're most likely in close combat and have deadlier options. As of now you can kill one or two members of a mob group before engaging the rest and that's kind of how a rogue should play.
Frankly they are a very appropriate attacks for rogues, and are just fine considering the limitations of them already. Lowering the damage would make them utterly useless. No one will want to wait 30 seconds, for an attack that needs to hit several ranged shots in a row to do full damage, only to do low damage.
and anyone who says rogues are not or can not be a ranged class, has never actually played D&D. Real rogues use range to soften an enemy before close combat. This isn't WoW. A rogues thrown daggers should be deadly, not reduced to a lame pulling mechanic.
Rogues having a ranged attack is stupid, take all ranged attacks away from rogue or nerf them, they are not a ranged class
Im guessing you are a lil butt hurt from your evident lack of skill in pvp.
The class is fine any more nerfs and it wont be worth playing a TR. We are squishy as hell and only hit single target with SFA CC to lock any one down , we just lost 25% dmg in stealth. If your fail then its on you to L2P not the dev's to destroy classes until you feel untouchable.
PvP wannabe's HAMSTER a game that would be hard pressed to have any stronger PvE roots is just pathetic.

It really doesn't hit that hard and it's a very useful leveling ability...
Gave in to that momentary sadistic twitch...

This isn't freaking wow, it's DnD, and rogue's COULD throw knives, holy hell!
When the shadow's embrace you, it is there you will find me.

completely agree, cant wait till the ranged strikers come out , then the PvP kids will leave the TR's alone. Warlock and Ranger said to be the next 2, just wait for the tears......will have to be a new Life raft mount so we don't all drown.
You guys are going off of other MMOs for Rogues. Rogues in D$D were made to be both reason melee and ranged because light armor proficiency and sneak attack. Which im not sure how corporated it is yet in this game as far as surprise sneak attack damage and cathcing enemiesflat footed, and not to mention in D&D they are more scouts above else. It's D&D people not WoW or GWs

Rouge activates 'Eye Shadow' and disappears...Mascara allows them to change their face into a scary one and inflict fear. Get it? Mask-scare-ya?
Lipstick...
is just hitting your opponent in the mouth with a stick.
The Dire Crow - Tiefling TR
Alice L'ddell - Human GF
Ludovique - Tiefling DC
Remove ranged attacks from rogue or give my CW stealth
