This just proves to those who were worried about halflings not being in the game, quit worrying. And in the top of that picture, it looks like class choices. And there seem to be five. Unless they stand for something else, which is completely possible. If only I knew the language in the picture.

Does that look like Human, Eladrin, Tiefling, Dwarf, Drow, Elf, and Halfling? It does look that way to me.

Human, half-elf, dwarf, drow, elf and halfling; not necessarily in that order in the picture, but they are the depicted races...
This city promises death for the meek, glory for the bold, danger for all, and riches for Jade! Elven Trickster Rogue: Two-bladed elf, tons of stabby stabby and that sort of thing...

OK. I am going to assume that is ranger coming soon then.
That is what I'm thinking too. It looks like it will be two weapon Ranger though Based on the two swords at the bottom of the "crest" and since we know they are using "builds" I really wish they would launch with more than these options there are few there that really interest me.

Yeah looks like two Scimi's (sigh) thought the melee's we have seen enough, would have been good to be ready for an actual ranged class. Spose its just and emblem, cant write it off yet.

Yeah I could be wrong, but I have a hard time believing they will launch without a Drizzt wanna be option out there for the players, so I see the two weapon build being the more likely class they go with.
From the looks of that site, every race can be every class as well. No restrictions. That's pretty cool. Why can't our site be as nice. I wonder why they have the whole map though. We now we can't go to waterdeep.

Yeah I saw the map, man I wish we had a site like theirs
But seems is confirmed now that we will have only 5 classes which is nothing for a DnD game Hope they focus their attention to classes after the game release.

Well, the "Ranger Class" isn't available. It's relegated to a potential future class. The locations are not map locations but background locations for character creation. This is where you will be able to select at a future character creation. much better than Gamescom but I really don't read Mandirin. Of course there are character translation sites for web pages...
So China has first dibs on information over the rest of the world? Unfortunate that they wouldn't ensure both Chinese and the American/Euro sites launched at the same time.
My projection: This game will take a beating around the net if it truly releases with only 5 classes.
The site is hands down AWESOME!! I am wondering why the American/ Euro sites aren't the same. If you compare that site to ours theirs is informative and immursive, ours is completely lacking in any of the information their site has, I don't mean to qq about this but I really don't understand why we aren't equal?!? We will equally play the game, spend money, and hopefully enjoy the game equally. Why isn't the information distribution Equal?

The only reason I can speculate as to why the China site is so eye-catching is because Perfect World hails from China. That is their home turf. Perfect World Entertainment is the North American subsidiary of Perfect World in China. I think it would be awesome if they would port over their site into ours here, love the background music!

So, wait, are all of the places on the map supposed to appear in game, or is that just showing the region around Neverwinter? Looking at it, the first seems to fit better, but then we'd be jumping from having just Neverwinter and it's outskirts to suddenly having Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, Amn, and a whole lot more! That looks awesome, but it sounds like a lot more than we were supposed to be getting.
On another note, does anyone else really dislike the class names? I like Wizards, Fighters, Rogues, and Clerics, but having that extra word crammed in for each one sounds forced and awkward to me.
The extra word is the build. One presumes future releases will have additional builds. But that remains to be seen.
Ah, I see. But still, with just one not shown, that leaves one build for each class (I guess 2 for Rogue, since Cutthroat Rogues were mentioned before). And are they chosen at creation, or do you just make, for example, a Rogue; then later choose between Trickster and Cutthroat? Sorry, until a few days ago I wasn't really watching the game too much.

I believe they've named a few different class possibilities throughout the vids, but I couldn't tell you what they were. As it looks, there's only 1 build per class. I highly doubt PWE would be dumb enough to do that though. I"m betting that since we still have at least 2 months until beta, they'll be keeping extra classes under wraps. Possibly letting a little info out at a time, so that we're constantly getting news. Instead of "here ya go, that's all we can give ya!" Which for a 2 month wait, would get dull very quickly. And I hope they do all classes like SWtoR did, where you're a rogue starting out, then pick which kind you wanna be at a higher level. (PRESUMABLY lvl 10). All speculation here other than the first sentence, but I think it seems the most likely avenue they'll take.
Also, WE NEED THIS SITE. I'm going through with a translator and it's taking forever. Comon' devs, make this happen! :-D

Damn and why can't we have a site that awesome? It even has one of the in game music tracks on it.
Now assuming the TBA class's crest is actually relevant to the class... What class has a dual-wield blade signature?
Well there are a few...
But all the classes they've listed are from PHB1 and there is only one two-weapon build in PHB1. Yes! Ranger!
