The current version on Preview adds three dye packs to the Trade bar store - Gloomwrought, Silvery (formerly Adamant) and Leather. Using those, and every other pack I have, I am able to unlock the following colors:
Here are the issues I see:
There seem to be two different versions of the Silvery one. "Old" ones are named just "Silvery" (see a few posts above this one), while the new ones are named "Silvery dye pack". They unlock the same set of colours, though.
Adamant got renamed to Silvery and added to the Tradebar store, but the other two related packs are still missing - Dark Leather and Samite. All three were listed here https://two30.github.io/neverwinter-dye/?56,55,54 and they were all available in the past - I know Adamant/Silvery was available as a Tier1/Tier2 result of a failed Masterwork task, and I think the same applied to the other two, which would make them unavailable now. If that's the case, I am going to repeat my earlier suggestion of adding all three as crafting tasks.
Dusk Armor is missing. Maybe it is available somewhere in-game and I just have not found it. If so, fine, but please check.
Bandit is also missing. Sounds like a good name for a quest reward dye, and again, it might be available somewhere, but again, I have not found it - please check.
Moonstone and Moonstone Fancy really sound like something that should be sold in the Moonstone Tavern, or perhaps something event-related, but once again, if they are supposed to be already available, I have not found them.
Siege Standard really sounds like something that should be available from the Neverwinter Siege vendor, but as far as I know it is not. Please check if it is supposed to be available somewhere.
Adding all those would leave just a single colour locked - Otyugh Brown, which is actually obtainable - just very, very hard to get. I guess I'll have to settle for eventually paying a few hundred thousand AD for it.
And yes, there really should be a craftable Paladin dye pack - there are 8 classes, but only 7 dye packs named after classes. Please, please add it when the crafting system next gets updated.
OK, here some features that I've gleaned from reading this forum, that we'll consider for a future update of the Appearance system. I'm sure more will come up as you use the system more intensively.
... 2) A way to keep the grouping of colours that come from a pack, and apply them as a group. Possibly also to define your own colour groups and apply them. ...
As a "artistically challenged" individual, I would really like the ability to apply a colour-theme-pack to a piece of gear As Intended... In advance of these changes I have been colour mapping the different dye sets/packs I have to know what they used to be and what they are changed to. Ie: Lliira's Night Dye Pack used to be: Old(Mod16), Accent: Sapphire Blue, Primary: Coppery-Orange, Secondary: Antique Gold New(Mod17), Primary: Red Robin, Secondary: Parchment, Accent: Ultramarine
(note: the order of the P/S/A was changed, making it even harder to map...) Without knowing the ORDER of the colours, I cannot re-make the looks on my characters, even if I figure out the colours that are unlocked.
PLEASE address the ability to put the colours in the right places.
Is there going to be a limit to how much fashion you can have added to the new appearance system? Or can everyone just add as much as they want now?
Assuming there is a limit (I'm on PS4 and therefore haven't checked the preview server), will this limit be increased for the people who have spent a whole lot of real money on increasing the fashion bag space, or have you just ripped us off on buying those fashion bag slots as per usual? Because it seems pretty useless to have literally hundreds of slots that now only holds unbound fashion.
If you're just going to let everyone have unlimited fashion now, there should be some compensation for everyone who had extra fashion bag slots. Maybe some limited edition clothes or something?
Also in that stream Julia made it sound like you're getting rid of the Halloween fashion? I can't believe you're even considering getting rid of my Mask of Sharess. I need cat ears !!! That's the first thing I've heard that's really made me want to quit this game.

I haven't watched and don't plan to watch stream but maybe she just meant the temporary halloween fashion not the permanent set. The collection set is still there on preview at any rate.

It was more a statement of things are weird with fashion items from that event because it's the next major event coming up so it's code is being messed with, hence why it's not working as intended.
I really wish they would tone down or eliminate the Resource sink aspect of this. I don't run dailies or group content so my access to AD is rather limited and it doesn't feel nice to have your ability to express yourself related to "grind coins"
as it is now it seems like a lesser version of DCUO's system but it costs resources to express yourself in NWO where as DCUO is free. The fact that it costs AD at all means it is pretty much off limits to new players.

Last I checked 8k AD (current live) was less than 1k...and that 1k last longer. Unless you like constantly changing up your look, this is actually a lot cheaper than the old system where you had to transfer the skin on old gear to new gear all the time.
1 - you can't see the colors you are trying to unlock before you actually unlock them because not only is a symbol over the color swatch, there is also a shade mask over the swatch -- as this makes positive color identification impossible it qualifies as a bug instead of feedback
2 - double check where you can get a color - wizard's dye pack is unlocked but there is still a color swatch that claims it is unlocked by the wizard's dye pack
3 - the Ubiquitous Moonstone dye - says it unlocks more than 3 color swatches -- yes there is another moonstone dye, but using both dyes there is still at least one spot claiming moonstone as its daddy

Not like I'd have just dumped 100k-1M AD on skins anyway in the next 4 month, but good to know it's cheaper now

Only got a chance to check out the latest dye changes today, and there are still some issues.
Here is what I can unlock:
"Dwarven Ale" is supposed to come from Samite dye pack, which is not available
"Leather" and "Haunted Forest" are supposed to come from Dark leather dye pack which is not available
"Teal", "Fartouched Bluebell" and "Lilac" are supposed to come from Moonstone dye pack, but it unlocks 3 other colors.

Turns out there were actually two "Moonstone Dye Pack" and one wasn't available anywhere. The second which grants those colors is now called the Fartouched Dye Pack and will be on the tradebar store with the other 2 missing packs you referenced.
These are unlikely to be available on launch day, but should be in a patch sometime after.

Good enough. One question. There are various old armor sets that seem to have been re-used in later mods, with a different name and maybe color changes. Now, if you were to put both versions in the library, what happens? Will you basically get two copies of the same armor or will it recognize that those are really the same "look" and refuse to add the second one ?

If the color was changed with a preapplied dye pack, then they'd both have the same exact base costume and if you had put one into your appearance library, the other one wouldn't claim because you already have that costume.
If the color changes were made on the armor directly, then it technically has a separate costume and each can be claimed and can both exist at the same time in your appearance library. We had looked into ways to prevent this but it wasn't really feasible to try to scour through each piece of a costume and compare geo. This is part of the reason it is free to claim items into the appearance library and why players can delete looks from their library.

Can we have a color like this added to the palette (255, 0, 64)? Or this (255, 0, 96)? Or even something like this (255, 0, 128)? There doesn't appear to be anything in the range between RED and MAGENTA.

I was able to get Haunted Forest from Vanity of the Dragonflight, but the rest are MIA. I could also really use something between red and magenta. That entire hue range is MIA.
