On the first day of the Winter Festival I spent (the purchases on zen are on record through PayPal) roughly $45 and put it all into the parcels. I'm curious to know what my compensation will be and if my information is needed to verify, email me through my arc accounts email.
Bad rng is bad rng. You are at least getting the items you weren't getting with your bad rng before. I got 10 epic companions, both gond mounts, a forgehammer, and a throne of the lion with 140 bought parcels. I'm excited to get my refunded parcels and do it again.
I would accept the amount of the parcels bought with zen, if i bought 40 then i would like 40 of them back. Or 60 then i would like 60 of them back. I do not want refund in Zen .
First of all we are ALL buying and opening them for a chance to get a highly valuable forghammer of gond... i mean items. Highly valuable items.
If we did not get them, then it is RNG. Correct ?
If the problem was in the third blue piece of equipment only, we where not receiving , and where supposed to.
Then our RNG just sucks and we do not really have any right to ask to be compensated.
If however the problem was in the system and when you where supposed to get a highly valuable item you did not get anything.
Then i would like to get my parcels back.

How will the effected players get compensated?? I thought we all were recieving parcels for the ones that we opened and no one i know has recieved any such compensation

Easiest fix (probably) would be to resend any parcels bought with Zen so purchasers can reopen them in the fixed version.

During the fix roll out, all players will be kicked out momentarily. In-game messaging will notify players of the shutdown. As previously stated, as soon as the fix is implemented, we will begin crediting players for any opened starlight parcels.
It is now almost 1 AM PST, has anyone experienced the parcel hot-fix on XBOX or PS4? If so, how did it work?
Did you get ALL opened/unopened Starlight Parcels back on ALL characters?
Did you get any Starlight Bags back as well (from gifts)?
Did you get ALL opened Starlight Parcels back or was it a small compensation? (ex: I opened 150 starlight bags and they only gave me 5 back)

Hoe this fix really solve this problem... when my guildm8 told about this "bug" i just hold my wallet and still wait to the fix be deployed. THEN, after maintenance, I will spend any cash on zen. And only if the bug is really fixed btw.

The fix applies at the moment the parcel is opened, so existing parcels will NOT be bugged when they're opened AFTER the fix has been applied to your shard. So if you're on Balor (PS4) or Lich (Xbox) go ahead and open your parcels now to get the fixed rewards. If you're on Dragon or Drider, open them before the maintenance and you'll get the wrong rewards but you'll also get a replacement one delivered after the maintenance.
Sooo how man hours from now on the XboxOne? Getting confuse with the 12AM PST PT midnight circus.
XboxOne has already had the fix applied (about 2 and a half hours ago from me making this posting). Go ahead and open the parcels on Xbox to get the updated rewards. Replacement parcels for ones you've opened before 2-ish hours ago on Xbox will be delivered over the 24 hours or so.
so when exactly are we being reimbursed? up to 48 hours after the update?
I can't give you a specific time estimate. When I get into the office in the morning, I'll start sending out the replacements for Xbox and PS4. When those are done and after the Dragon maintenance, I'll send out the replacements for Dragon. Then later in the day, after the Drider maintenance, I'll send out the replacements for Drider.
But now I must sleep so I don't make fatigue-induced mistakes in the morning. My advice for all shards is to open your parcels now. Either you'll get the updated rewards (Xbox and PS4) or you'll get a replacement later (PC).

itis 4:21 am PST I have opened dozens of parcels since the bug occured. Haven't received anything. The last ticket about this I sent days ago when I realized something was wrong. Their support keeps replying "Its by design" Seems to me like these idiots have no idea what they are doing. GL I hope you get your items back.
THIS is the way things should be handled. Thank you so much to the people who decided to fix it by replacing parcels (meaning double the gifts to exchange for everyone), to @nitocris83 for the timely updates and communication, and to @miasmat - sounds like you have the daunting task of finding the number opened and sending out the replacements. Thanks to all for your hard work on this issue.
