I wonder if they'll do something like have the entrance be some "new cave" that was opened up in the Northdark zone, or if it'll have its own spot on the world map.

    Indeed. The Underdark spans the entire planet, of which our region of Faerun is only a moderately sized region in the northern half of one of the many continents on the planet.

    New stronghold tower to go afk at! Companions in PvP are so broken, unbalanced and reduce PvP to RnG and stable content! I've seen many games do this, last one that did it was TERA. RIP Neverwinter PvP, it was fun.

    SERIOUSLY?!?! There are people that are still doing ELEMENTAL EVIL campaign and YOU just launch a new module soon? WTF, let me explain you some things:
    You have reduced vigilance missions from 16 to 8. Good, we will save a lot of time! But didn't you think that in this way people wouldn't receive their proper amount of experience JUST BECAUSE YOU didn't considered that the amount of experience is an HALF of the amount of last months? I finished "Drowned Shore" and "Rock of Reclamation" as well and I'm still level 63! That's oltragious! What should I do? Walking in all maps seeking enemies?? Players are doing that, it is concerned that there is a mass of players that kill your enemies, so that you walk all over the map trying to fight enemies that people have not seen yet.

    How we can play Underdark if we are stuck in Elemental Evil? Time to finish one campaign that the new is coming out.

    Then the only chances to experience is:
    - Buy a boost. That costs ZENS that only rich people can have, or people who plays 2 Skirmish and 4 dungeons (anyway it would take a lot of time to gain enough AD to be exchanged in ZEN at Auction House, even for a level 70 player, playing is began just farming AD all the day, and not playing campaigns, Stronghold, or just helping other people in guild).
    - Doing 70 missions that give 11k exp (I want to point out that the amount of experience was pretty insuffcient also in recent months) for map.
    - Kill Elementals in "Fiery Pit"; Actually it would be a massacre even with a Paladin.
    - Buying rank 7+ Azure Enchantments, that costs AD, so we return at point 1.

    In the end you haven't done anything for levelling from 60 to 70 faster, in fact you have enormously complicated it causing discomfort at all players, and encouraging as usual who can afford to spend, and making the game accessible only to those who also spend money or their lives in front of their pc.

    Because of this and many other particulars you are experimenting a great reduction of players, that consist also in less money gained for you. So, please, why don't you think first to improve the experience gain in Elemental Evil Campaign (and give people a best game experience as well) and THEN upload a new module?

    EE is pretty much just the beginning of your grind and not even a problem really.


    The real grind starts at level 70 when you have to try to juggle Sharandar, DR, IWD and ToD all at once while trying to earn the AD you need despite there being no real way to earn it. They've said they're going to try to alleviate that by letting people earn campaign currency in HEs though.

    Actually there will be separate questsin each zone to get old currency, we have yet to find out if they are going to be Dailies or like the EE zone quests.


    Players will earn “Faerzress” and “Demonic Ichor” when they complete these Heroic Encounters. In addition, there will be quests in Dread Ring, Caer-Konig, and Well of Dragons that will require players to complete these encounters. These quests will reward currency used in the zone’s campaigns, allowing players to progress through the campaigns faster than before.

    Did you not read what you quoted? They're quests that make you run HEs to earn campaign currency ....

    Is it really that hard to puzzle out?

    We will see, but the more important dev blog about content isn't yet published...

    Strongholds patched to preview July 11th Live August 10th, so expect approximately one month after it hits preview and it ain't there yet. I'm going to guess the week of the 21st Nov. for live.

    They've said end of this year a gazillion times. Usually the end of year mod launches in December.

    When they launched stronghold they made a lot of noise with "follow us on twitter", "like our video" "like our facebook page". I haven't seen any of this at the moment, just some dev blog. The only one "interesting" ( according to me ) is the one about Demonic HE, even if I'm sure I will hate this Demonic He, I don't care about how "how it's made" or "Why underdark? What is underdark?".

    I just want to hear, "We bring back the old dungeon AND we made a new dungeon 1H long", "We cut down the AD cost of Mount, companions, Stronghold boons". This is what I am expecting, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.

    Bring the fun back please

    I m playing this Game since Beta and i still like it BUT the Dev, made some bad decisions. Taking away all the Dungeons, taking away the freedom of choice what eqipment to wear. All Chars are now running around with the same Equipment, even the sme Artifacts and Sets. The Player has almost no choice anymore to have a individual Character . I remember there were TR or Heal or Tanks and everyone had a different Armorset. I remember when our Guildmember reached Level 60..running Gauntlgrym to get T1 Gear, running Frostheart to get Shoes,Karrundax, and so on and so on. there was plenty to do and all different. But the Choice today is :Lets so Elol or ECC, if u are extremely bored lets do Kessel. There are so many Players that dont want to PVP especially not the ones from NO Guilds or small Guilds, that will never ever get those Armorsets or Boons. They need something to do where they can get something to be happy about. I m playing D&D ,AD&D since 28 years now ! I know there is so much more u can do. Bigger Maps, dont put every 2 meter a mob, just more space so that players dont feel like playing in a little box. Change the PE, it should be a City , there are so many buildings that cant be entered, same on Guildmap, just have Fun in the Well, but i cant climb on it. Too many restrictions, fill it with life, quest or other things.

    I want old dungeons back, but i DONT want back mod 5 kindergarden modus.
    I want CN/SP/FH ultrahard with T3 Set as drop from endbosses.

    Most of you people are so completely lost. This game comes with the solution for repeatable content.. and new content. It's called "The Foundry". Instead of the devs providing more new junk.. just fix the foundry and provide a real reason to play the created adventures. It's really simple. But apparently, most of you people are only interested in PvP. This is supposed to be Dungeons and Dragons... not tekken or mortal combat. This is not an arena game... this is not a player vs player battle game. This is D&D... or at least it's supposed to be.

But apparently, most of you people are only interested in PvP. This is supposed to be Dungeons and Dragons... not tekken or mortal combat. This is not an arena game... this is not a player vs player battle game. This is D&D... or at least it's supposed to be.

    Foundry will never have any good rewards because people would exploit it. So it's in the same place as PvP where you've got a hardcore crowd that likes it (and bothers playing it) and everyone else just plays PvE. Also, virtually no one plays PvP :|

    I'm assuming that the new class will be coming with Underdark. From what I have seen and heard it comes down to two viable options: The Druid and the Monk. Apparently, the devs have been hinting at the druid class for quite some time now, so it most likely will be the druid. However, there is still a chance that it could be the Monk. To me, it wouldn't make sense to release the Druid class in the Underdark themed module. Are Drow Druids common? I know Monks are. Have any of you played Baulder's Gate Dark Alliance 2? (it came out on PS2 and Xbox). The Drow in that game was the Monk class. Now, obviously there is no connection there, but Monk would seem more likely in the Underdark rather than a Druid. I really hope we get the Monk instead. My favorite class/fantasy archetype. And they could do wonders with combat. If they do a Monk eventually, I think they should make it the only class without a weapon. The whole point of the Monk is that they use their bodies as weapons. The unarmed combat could be amazing.

    @CameronGrifter No new class in Underdark as we're focusing on the ten-person Demogorgon fight and other features.
