i actually have 2 offers from months and months ago sitting at 400 :D

I dont really need the AD at the moment so I am fine with them sittng there in the off chance that the rate drops again.

sadly that wont help. there is an auto feature so even if they did put in a 400 price it would sell to the first in line at 500.

The exchange makes it impossible to cheat yourself by selling at lower than the highest possible offer. The only way to screw it up is by selling when you intended to post an offer to buy.

that may be true. I had a second offer in posted on the 6th that hasn't been filled yet. The guy saying he posted an offer on the 27th that hasn't been filled yet is either wrong or posted at less than 500

I have 2 orders in for 5000 zen each for 500 placed on the 26th that haven't been filled yet.

Well i would guess that your orders are too massive, for example say i bought some zen for a mount or companion or something then i had some left over i would convert it to AD but it wouldn't be $50 worth, my guess is that people who list lower amounts get them filled faster because of this hence why some people get it in days and some in weeks, but its just a theory

Well it was explained to us as first in first out. If it couldn't fill with one order it waited till there were several and filled the large one, then moved to the next in the line.

Because of this we really need that log so we can prove it's a bug to get it fixed. If it is a bug who knows what other bugs are there.

I have an order in from around that time too for 5000 zen that has never been filled then I realized that maybe there is some bug , I have traded loads of times in the past but now this is what my exchange log looks like , "you have never made a listing on the exchange" despite the fact I clearly have a offer up at the moment and I have used the exchange numerous times in the past O_o

Stable at 500 is still capped out. It used to be around 400 a couple months ago.

i would say cancel the order and repost but with no logs of it going in I would hate to have it "dissappear entirely"

Yes - the Gateway gives a full accounting of Exchange history - at least it does for me. I mainly just use it for moving AD from one character to another though. That said, it shows each posting and cancellation with a time/date stamp.

do you have the same lack of exchange log in game that iambecks1 does Mystagogue? Also do you have requests for max Zen that haven't been filled?

Still at work, I'll have to check later when I log in there. No requests for Zen that haven't been filled at the moment - that said I've made multiple moves over the past few weeks (including one this morning) and each was logged.

ah I think we misunderstood each other than. I was asking iambecks to check to see if his log in Gateway was missing as well. I think you took my question to be is there actually one in the gateway.

The exchange log sometimes doesn't load for whatever reason. If you wait a bit and try again a little later, it will probably reappear for you. At least that's been my experience.

Same thing happened to me. Sometimes it has trouble loading or something, most the time it appears though.

I just take it like when I loot skill nodes. 1/4 time only non enchants load. 1/4 time only enchants load. 1/4 it all loads. 1/4 time none of it loads. But its there. Crazy game.

Oh ok cool , I wasn't sure what to do because the offer has been up so long but I didn't know if it was broken or bugged or what with the log not showing but I didn't want to take it down and risk getting thrown to the end of the queue , I'll just keep waiting then now I know it isn't just me that has this issue, thanks for letting me know.

Happens to me frequently, it just doesn't load the history for whatever reason. Relogging usually fixes it for me.

This is a good sign however
(This post will get me hammered from the community hard.. however remember this in advance for the days to come)

While the market has now inflation of AD, in the future.

If AD prices don't inflate for module 4 release

this is a sign of many bad things:
    A) F2P playerbase has went down tremendously and not interested in MODULE 4

    B) economy will have deflation --> supply of AD will go down rapidly
because zen buyers some of them might want to buy cats or other goods for their build they wanna make for their SW

500K AD loss of backlog in 3 days that is so big and fast, if the backlog loss is that rapid - this means one thing .. if there is no inflation for module 4 release ... Zen Sellers might not have AD supply in fact if the AD backlog is into negative like that on constant ratio mentioned on this thread .. we are talking about an ETA of 1 month and Zen Sellers won't have AD Supply at all

The only savior from hitting deep Deflation

is how many F2P exist on the game who do legit PVE Runs & Dailies .. that is the source of income now of AD for the whole market .. the legit way is what is gonna keep the prices to mediocre value

Remember: this economy for a fact when it started from day 1 .. unfortunately had AD supply of exploiters from Caturday (And Unfortunately for sometime was dependent of the exploited AD for shorttime)
that still got major effect on this economy's prices to this day

(I am against exploiters) but cryptic has to find a way to keep this economy stabilized neither inflating or deflating too hard

And the threads of lowering the Wondrous Bazaar prices will come on the forum again and cryptic should be prepared in advance. ... the economy will be hitting deflation so soon at this rate if this ratio of AD consumption is constant and not affected by module 4

Q: What do you call someone who has been in the morgue for a week?

    A: Stable.

Stable isn't always a good thing.

I did not notice difference, just rises more slowly.
Must be why some people are selling things cheaper on the AH to prepare 4 mod. I even canceled an offer yesterday to buy an Aurora by 200,000 AD.

Deflation is the result of uncontrolled inflation.
It happened with the dollar in Brazil, was so overpriced that "no one wanted to buy." : /

If you mean, no one is requesting more ZEN, then yes. If you think that the requests to sell Zen equate to the requests to buy Zen, I don't think so. I've had an order in since August 1st, and I'm still waiting.

I think with the absence of the exploits, there aren't a lot of requests to buy Zen. Also, no one is selling Zen right now either, because there is nothing new to buy. Everyone is waiting for Mod 4 to drop. If Mod 4 brings something to buy with Zen (like the hammerstone pick for IWD), a character slot sale, etc, it will go up. If there aren't great things to buy, the backlog will go down as people gear up their warlocks.

By the way, if there's a warlock pack for ZEN, it will skyrocket.

Yah we wont know much till after MoD4 about the future of the zax. It's in the best interest of Cryptic/PWE to keep the zax probably right where it is. So I doubt theyll attempt to alleviate the backlog, if anything Im leaning towards theyll raise the zax cap to appease real money spenders; and to increase their own short term profits.

But first person that gets a SW Ancient weapon will probably be able to sell it at some outrageous price. Cant wait....

No, I really am looking forward to MoD4.

We still don't know if it will sell in the Zen Market or be a cash purchase. Only the HR Booster was sold in Zen Market. I am hopeful it sells in the Zen market because I have too many Zen Points piling up with nothing to buy in the Zen Market (and value of AD is too low to be worth it right now). If it is sold in the Zen Market the backlog will rocket higher.

But no worries for the smart people who anticipated this and converted their AD to Zen a week or two ago when the backlog was smaller.
