Greetings Adventurers!
The new Dread Ring Campaign will be arriving very shortly on Preview and we would love to get as much feedback as we can. The Campaign System is a very complex feature, and because of that we would like your help so it can be the best it can possibly be before it goes live!
Below is more information about the Campaign System and the things we would like feedback on.
Campaign Overview
While participating in Dread Ring Content players will earn various resources that can be used to gather unique rewards and permanent upgrades to their character by investing time aiding the forces of Neverwinter in the fight against Valindra and the Red Wizards.
Feedback
It will be really helpful if your feedback is categorized so we can gather it as effectively as possible! Therefore, please use the following format when submitting feedback to help us make sure your voices get heard:
Type: Bug, Feedback
(Pick one or the other)
Category: Quests, Rewards, Boons, UI, Lairs (Instances), Skirmish, Environment, General
(Please list only categories that apply to your feedback)
Please use “Bold” face text for the Type & Categories then type your feedback in the body of your post. If you are listing a bug please have this text in RED, if you are posting an opinion or feedback please use BLUE.
(Concise Feedback & Screen Shots are much appreciated)
Bug: Skirmish: Rewards I did not receive the correct rewards in my inventory when opening the Chest. I received Gold and the Potions but not the weapon “Sword of Confusion”.
Feedback: Skirmish It would be cool if the Ogres summoned by the Portals were Ogre Zombies! (screenshot)
If you have feedback regarding one of the elements listed below please post it in the linked thread so we can most accurately gather your feedback.
Thank you again for all your help Adventurers! We look forward to hearing back from you!

Bug: Intro quest: NPC Behavior After the final final in the Ashen Battlefield quest, the NPCs that helped are a bit erratic. They run back to their starting point, before running right back to where you are. Xuna ran around some more before saying something and disappearing.

Bug: Heart of Dread rewards
Aquamarine - the tooltip reads a lustrous auqamarince... typo, I suppose.
Took a look over the rewards. I know that they aren't final yet. Just wanted to say that it would be great if you could make the sets of ring/belt/neck have set bonus's like the Frozen set has. Right now it is better to use the frozen set and in alot of cases its better to have blue items slotted then the new purple one's in Sharandar. It would be great if the new ones were best in slot. It also give players another reason to do the content repeatedly. Regen/health seems like the best bonus to give as every class can use it.
bug: quest: seizing power
the silver gauntlet item you are given for this quest cannot be moved to another bag in your inventory. the first time i tried to move it, i was in the vendor screen. second time was in my normal inventory.
secondly, when i used the item in the quest, it removed it and granted me two rank 2 enchantments... an azure and a silvery. even though this occurred, the quest is still showing as incomplete and i cannot abandon it or complete it as i no longer have the silver gauntlet.
bug: quest: dread spire
the first time i did this quest, it was using an older copy of my main CW. i had not respec'd at that time. i went through the mini-dungeon and killed the end boss and attempted to claim the items in the chest and it kept telling me my inventory was full. i had not yet attempted to complete the other active quest, seizing power. i tried to work around this by removing some items from my inventory but it made no difference. i then completed the seizing power quest and acquired two items that i don't remember what they were... they were new items, not enchantments like i described in my first bug report. after the silver gauntlet was out of my inventory, i still could not take the items out of the chest. it was still saying my inventory was full.
i'm not even sure where this should go but i'm putting it here since the item dropped in this area
feedback: epic armor: robes of the dread legion
i LOVE the look of this armor. although my current armor is better (stat wise), i took the liberty of transmuting it. my current high vizier armor is dyed and based on the transmute preview, i expected to lose my dye colors... but when it was finished, my dye colors remained intact. i do not know if this is how it is now on the live server, but i definitely like that A LOT. so... good going. good armor designs... i like that we're interacting with the NPCs from the beginning cut scenes. i'm starting to feel like norm from cheers.

When attempting to accept the Seizing Power quest, I get the message "Inventory Full. Unable to add quest "Seizing Power"" My inventory has space in it, so does my quest log.

Feedback: Lair: Phantasmal Fortress This place is just brilliant. I thoroughly love the design of it. The only issues I had was the cutscene of Thay was ruined by the fact that it just started to render when the cutscene was ending and the quest completed while I was still fighting the boss, which is odd. I wouldn't mind seeing an achievement in here for finding some hidden and/or oddly placed items.
Feedback: Lair: Ashen Battlefield Varkoss starts the fight with a sword in his hand, which promptly disappears as soon as he starts fighting and none of his powers even seem to be sword attacks.
Bug: Achievement: Scrying The Scrying Stone for the Dread Spire (loc 2375, 2234) does not count towards the Scrying: The Dread Ring achievement. Other two scrying stones correctly count.
Feedback: Scrying Stones While the Scrying Stone for the Skull is very well place, I think the the other two could use some adjustment so they aren't so out in the open.
Soulforge is VERY, HIGHLY unbalanced ..it creates godlike DC's, GWF's and Rogues who with armor swapping can create chains of immunity and healing while other classes like CW are insta murdered twice in the same spot.
This change should NOT make it live.

These two bugs are related. if your first inventory bag is full, you cannot get the silver gauntlet because the gauntlet cannot be placed anywhere other than the first inventory bag, thus the attempt to acquire the quest fails.
i'm not even sure where this should go but i'm putting it here since the item dropped in this area

Dye colors transfer on live as well. Hopefully this is WAI and will be preserved!

Bug: Dread Spire entry door:
Entry door states it requires a Thayan Vault Key to enter, when you can enter after buying the Thayan Lair Key from Dell McCourt
Feedback: Dread Spire:
Dread Spire looks amazing. So many unique graphics and such. There are however, a few places where some of the statues and columns appear to be floating. This could be intended and look awesome, could not. Still a great looking place.
Bug: Dread Spire:
Thayan Servitor gets stuck inside pillar at (-1282, 148). Servitor can still attack you, but melee characters cannot damage it.

my first inventory bag was not full when i got the silver gauntlet.
they are related in that the same quest is bugged. but they are two separate issues. in your issue, you were not getting the silver gauntlet and not getting the quest even though your inventory was not full. on two separate occasions, i got the quest, got the silver gauntlet... the first time i did it, i didn't try to move it or mess with it until i got to the chest at the end of dread spire. when i attempted to take the contents of the chest, i got the message that my inventory was full even though it was not. i even removed things from the first bag and it was still giving me that message. and even after i used the silver gauntlet i still got the inventory full message.
the bug i reported happened the second time around.
it needs re work since if i understand it correct it can be on once every min but for 10 sec only and u need to do damage whole min to can charge it ,make it to can be on all the time till u exit combat once u stack it and number of stacks should be reduced atm it is very bad and not worth time

or armor swapping should be impossible when in combat.
Greetings Adventurers! Thanks for all the feedback! Please keep the feedback coming so we can continue to improve Shadowmantle! I will continue to monitor this thread and will do my best to ensure everyone's feedback gets heard!
Thank you again!

Bug: Lair: Death Forge The area surrounding the final fight area lacks invisible walls. It can lead to you ending up below the area with no way out.. I wouldn't mind if this kept the way it is if falling down the pit autokills you and there is a nice surprise if you manage to walk all the way around the stonework there to the other side.
Bug: The Dread Spire I got some additional keys for the Dread Spire Dungeon... but on the end sometimes I can't claim my reward from the end chest!
Bug: Dread Ring Campaign I decided to make the key for Valindra's Tower on first round of quest completion... but then again I can't finish my "A New Day" quest from Knox and this lead to ---> unable to progress further into the campaign.
Bug: Dread Spire The last staircase before the library, there is a character stuck in the statue. If you bypass he will come out later when in combat in library.
Bug: User Interface: Dread Ring Boons: Augmented Thayan Bastion Unnecessary repetition of Boon name in tooltip description. This also does not occur on other Boons.
Bug: Quest: Contingency After collecting the three Rods, I was initially unable to interact with the sphere. Relog solved it. Yesterday the quest worked fine.

Feedback: Contingency.
The rod pieces look too much like arcana skill nodes, this would be good to change, mainly if someone doesn't have any arcana kits with them and just passes by the mission objects. (Like me the first time I did the quest.)
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

Bug: Quest - Undeath to Death
Bone Golem does not count as a skeleton for this quest. If this is intended, it is very strange since the tone of the quest is to kill things that were brought about through necromancy. Bone Golems seem to be nectromantic.

Feedback: Am I supposed to be able to get there:
I don't want to ruin anyone's fun of jumping and climbing on things, but I was able to get to and stand on the very tip of the dragon skeleton's wingtip. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be able to get there. There's also lots of flat gray sand area that you can get to out by the wall of the ring.
*Edit* I do finally hit an invisible wall. Map attached.

SOULFORGE
I have to agree here:
Ran some tests last night with the following:
Whisperknife Rogue
Sentinel GWF
Conq. GF
Executioner Rogue
Destroyer GWF
Faithful DC
