Foundry down?

I was in the midst of editing my quest in the Foundry, when it crashed... no worries, I had just saved it and was not worried about losing any work.... but when I login, I click the foundry button and it says not allowed to edit Foundry... is the Foundry down? Does anyone have a guess about what happened?

Nor should there be.

The ONLY place they need to be delivering such information is here on the Offcial Game Forum.

The ONLY time they should use Twiiter is if the Forums are down.

If they have time to type and press submit on Twitter why do they not have the time to do so here?

Yeah, though they don't really update anything except the featured/spotlight quest, and take a bunch of old quests down. The Foundry is working again btw.

I'm having trouble logging into the Foundry at the moment. I'm aware one shard is down, but thought the Foundry should work.
Is anyone else experiencing this right now?

By the looks of it, the whole Login Server is offline, it will not even let me into my character screen.

Oh wtf. They closed the bug report post even though the issue happened 24 hours ago when all shards were online and working normally.

Actually, Zeb's information made it clear -for me- what is up. How annoying, I should have more characters D;

( Today, this may have to do with the Shard crashing. Please feel free to re-create your thread if this happens to you again once the Shard is back up. (the Foundry is not on any specific shard, it is part of the same server all three shards are on. The shards are not individual servers, but three multi-layer technology shards within the same server, so any shard going down could affect the Foundry))

Then why was Foundry down like this 24 hours ago when all shards were up?

I'm angry the bug report was closed because of a "maybe related." That is no reason to stop collecting information.

Update: 12:23 PM EST - "Foundry editing not allowed" ... perhaps they're rebooting Dragon?

Probably due to updates. (Not saying it was, just speculating.)
And it does look related, based on what Zeb said on how (and where) the Foundry program works.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are rebooting Dragon, no.

This seems to be a daily thing at this time. All my characters are on Dragon as well so I can't even do reviews with the down time. And the review I was just writing will no doubt be gone and I'll need to run it again.

. . . . . Thanks for updating everyone in here also, I didn't see this thread. Today's issues may be due to the Dragon Shard going down. Please check again once everything is back up. From Facebook:

Hey All - In order to resolve the issue with the Dragon shard, we will need to prevent logins to all shards for just a moment. Please stand by while we perform the necessary fixes.

Also:

Beholder and Mindflayer are both up. Dragon shard will be up shortly after we perform some checks. Thanks for your patience, adventurers!
