Rogues completely OP...PROOF. Taken in the last 2 hours of PvP Play.

So yeah I guess you guys are just such awesome players right? I decided to do PvP today and these are screen shots form the last 4 matches I did over the past 2 hours. I told myself I would post them no matter what even if I was wrong and I knew I wouldnt be. This stuff is getting plum predictable. DEVs can check my logs and verify this was done today if they want. Rogues are completely out of control and have WAY too much survivability for the damage they do. Please fix.

Really? The Striker class is getting more kills than the Defender, Tank, and Controller classes? Who'd of thunk it?

Lmfao another way of saying what I said, but in more MMO terms than D&D.

Say it ain't so! Who would have ever expected that the class designed to do damage would be good at doing damage?!?!??!

    SHOCK AND HORROR!

I think he is saying that they aren't squishy enough for the amount of DPS they do.

In an action based game, your amount of "squishy-ness" is based on how good you are at action. Fact.

I seriously think maybe it's time to split the rules for PvP and PvE, because it always seems to be the PvP players that object (constantly, it will *never* end) to one or another balance issues. Something like a "modifier" for PvP zones.

IMHO it ruined Asheron's Call (before your time, most of y'all) and has damaged PvE on DCUO and others.

It would be incredibly inconvenient for casual PvP players, but it might calm the screaming hordes without making PvE a scrambled mess.

Also, a better tutorial (even optional, like a "PvP training" location) for taking advantage of class abilities and teamwork. D&D 4 was designed for groups of varied roles, solo or with unbalanced groups you get hosed.

Disclaimer: I don't play PvP at all.

Except there is no actual dodge for GWF, many abilities still connect if you're a good distance away, how are you to "dodge" a rogues 20k crit daily?

It doesn't matter if they're a striker class or not, one shotting people is dumb, and quite frankly if you think it's balanced, well, I've got news for your mental state.

I'd like to see you survive a stealth 3 second silence followed by 12k crits with your 'action skill'. Oh.. as a control wizard. :)

Honestly, I think that having 2 sets of balance, while adding someadditional work on the dev's behalf, is probably the best of both worlds. You can balance PvP powers against one another without messing up group dynamics in PvE. It's how Wildstar is currently doing it (or at least states they're doing it).

*******, this WoW generation which thinks that every class must be balanced is just horrendous. No. Not every class has to be balanced, nor should they be balanced. CW's/TR's are good at what they do best. Cleric's are good at what they do best, and GF/GWF are good at what they do best.

I'd have loved to see you whine in L2 C4 about how classes are so unbalanced. You would have been laughed at by all the players.

I don't really PvP nor do I really care about it :)

Enchant your armor with the 2s immunity when you hit 25% hp if you can't dodge stuff lol

To be fair, in terms of PvE there are some balance issues as well (a skilled rogue will still far outstrip a skilled GWF or CW in aoe situations, they do that much single target damage. it's actually pretty obscene).

Interesting, I have yet to meet a rogue that can out-dps our GWF. Either I've found nothing but **** rogues or our GWF is crazy insane good dps lol

in PVE i have seen CW who run out of controll too.
Level 40, dungeon, he was the leader with 800k to the next one, me, and i was in front with 300k to the next rogue.

Mostly just bad rogues. I smash the vast majority of rogues as well, but a few players I've played with for a few years and have a clue on how to play do much better than I do (barring HAMSTER t2 fights where we can spam aoe on 6+ mobs the entire fight).

Except he is wrong lmao. If you can't shut down a rogue in pvp playing any class other than a GWF, something is wrong. I play a control wiz and nothing beats ccing a rogue for 15 second and let our GWF pummel his a$$ in pvp.

See how many rogues are complaining about control wizards? You're doing the same thing they're doing, complaining about a class that is designed to do their job.

Rogue is just easy enough to burst on that it doesn't take a great player to play good in PvP. Mediocre player on a rogue = good, great player on a rogue = god mode. How do you expect them to rectify this?

Or maybe you're just that bad lol. Srsly what class do you play? Because I honestly don't see any class having trouble with most rogue unless you're a GWF or a bad rogue.

That I can agree with. Rogues are incredibly tanky for that amount of burst DPS and CC.

Yeah but you know what is not fun. having to pvp against them. I don't like being a filler class or someone to boost your stats in pvp

IMO CW class is another example of a broken caster class. All squishy with none of the glass cannon.

So.. Rogue is the ONLY class that's not a buffer/supporter in the game currently. Sounds like you want to play a striker, just not a rogue.

Um, can't rogues spec for CC breaks and immunity? I'm pretty sure they can. Unless my rogue playing friend run out of reading comprehension on his own class.

I dont think nerfing is solution. There is waaaay to many rogues that are happy with their class, and nerf would just make them flame on forum and ingame chat. GWF got nerfed and it is broken class atm, early levels are hard and endgame requires lots of thinking to make it close to dps class. Dont nerf rogues, make other classes inpair, or give them some moves that will allow them to mitigate rogues burst dmg+cc. And no, I dont play rogue.
