I'll address my 'favorite' part of the topic. Streamers and content creators. That little side note there, about regular streamers, testers, and all that.
Before I start I want to clarify that there are very small minority of streamers / youtubers, etc.. that worth watching, and even fewer worth monetary support, they provide added value, and/or information, and/or help, or just fun to watch, etc.. Unfortunately they are a very small exception.
Usually I try to be somewhat constructive in my posts, but nothing to be constructive about in this case.
So lately (few months) I've been watching this new 'content', and here what I saw, a grown up throws a teenager like tantrum every time a subject they do not like comes up, notably ToMM. I saw, well more of heard, how they discuss other people, interesting, when I've typed the same in twitch chat as an example of the 'wisdom' that comes out of their mouth, It auto censured me, but they allow themselves and others on their stream to speak that freely.
I've heard how a person discuss another person reproductive organ size, their living condition, aka basement, and the frequency of how they "bone".. Trash talking stream after stream. But I guess that only shows how far some people mental development progressed.
I saw how a group of streamers recreate a bottom rate teenager drama, for weeks, trash talking, and "discussing" others.
And lets not forget the discussions about the community manager.
Yes, a streamer can do what they want on their stream, but if someone want official support, no pretty intro cover, or pretty icons, can cover the trash that comes on those streams. Is this the face of NW on these platforms? Better to have none than that.
But if this is not enough, the truly interesting part, is the repeated claims "I do it for the community", "I do not care about the money" yet there is a donation button you will never miss, a nice subscription counter, and various donation solicitations, whether they true or fake, like children birthday gift fund.
I saw youtube videos with pure HAMSTER in it, so monetized, it had more commercial time than actual content. I saw people talk about their patreons and subscriptions more than they invested into making any content, ever. Contribution to community?! You make me laugh. Or cry. Not sure...
How about remove all the monetization options, refuse subscriptions, and donations and actually do something for the community. Or be honest, about doing it in part for the "beer money". (The issue right here is not with people monitizing, but claiming that they do not, while clearly they do)
From where comes this misconception that if a person streams at some set times, or makes some videos on schedule, it automatically makes it quality? Sorry, quantity is not quality.
Yeah... Lassor should have joined one of those... Right.. That would have showcased current top NW content.. Maybe some should at least play it before complaining they didn't get promoted streaming it.

I would suggest not making this a competition of who has the highest /played, not only because it is not constructive and doesn't mean anything (both in terms of adding to the argument and in the general sense), but because I am pretty much certain you will lose -- to every single person in my group.
What I find funny is that you are all comparing how pathetic you are with time played on video games. You do realize that their is a life outside. I would love to meet you all in person so when you see my physical frame of 6' 250lbs of pure muscle chiseled body you can all stand in awe of the god in front of you because in real life what do you do beside play on your games on your computer or console?
I'm rarely playing video games because I'm outside running, jogging, weight lifting, etc... take care of my house, family, etc...
Gaming is a hobby and if you let it become and consume your life you are pathetic and need to re-evaluate your priorities and so far from what I am hearing from the elite player is that they seem not to have a life.
That is my opinion of the elite players given the response thus far.
But whatever, enjoy your life on the keyboard.
The only people who are pathetic are those who try to shame others based on how they spend their free time, doing what they enjoy doing, when they are not harming anyone else in the process. You enjoy weightlifting etc? Good for you, but unless you earn money off of it, it is a hobby, nothing more, nothing less. One day we will all go to the ground and the fact that you lifted weights won't change that. And no, I don't particularly care how you look, I judge others on how they act and all I ever see you do is look for validation in threads pretending to be an expert on matters of which you are clearly not. Says something, don't you think?

u spend a lot of time on the forums for someone that regards spending time playing games as pathetic.
Ever hear of a cell phone or tablet? It makes posting easy on the forums.

Thank you. I do. But now that you mention that, Interesting fact, my forum account is from 2014, yours 2016, yet you have hundreds of posts more... Interesting..

This attachment can't be healthy, you should focus on other things. Those weights and protein shakes wait no chiseled god.

250lb of chiseled body huh, sounds like you are describing a stone statue. Which makes sense considering the intelligence your posts have continually portrayed over the years. Your body might look like David, but a lump of rock isn't exactly the height of intellect. Even Pinocchio started out as wooden puppet who could seem a bit lifelike with some help... You? You might have started like Pinocchio but instead of becoming a real boy you regressed into a chest thumping petrified visage we will be warning our children about as a scary bedtime story.

And yet hear you stand on your high horse in this thread shaming others who simply voice their concern about the game. We all have the right to share our own opinions on a game we like to play. Regardless if someone plays less than an hour a day or if they have played hours and hours on end.
I don't need any validation in a game or the forums, because I know who I am, what I have accomplished and where I am going in life and not some game that one day may not even be here.
Intelligence... that was the thing where people stop stoking the fire? Personal attacks like these are not worth it, and certainly not over a game that is supposed to be fun. Looks don't have anything to do with this, neither does quantity of gaming hours, although I'm very sure everybody is very qualified to get emotional over this, but it's really not worth it.
- bye bye -

Funny, yet you are the one continuously posting all time classic examples of validation-ism, such as the one where you tested the tiger by testing the dancing shield and then refuse to admit you were wrong. Spin me another yarn will you?
Intelligence... that was the thing where people stop stoking the fire?

Which was what I was saying when I said, "don't bring hours played into this discussion as it adds nothing to it," but apparently people wanted to bring it up anyhow. Sad.
if only you guys would took these "arguments" and queue for PvP to see whom is right, but i guess... this scripted trial is all you guys can think about
Honestly, i cant believe this thread hasn't been nuked from orbit yet.
The OP started out well enough but then decided to attack a small subset of users who devoted hours and hours of their personal time to help the devs. Those same people then defended themselves and now we have a never ending HAMSTER show of attacks against each other. No one cares how many hours someone plays or that they go to the gym and lift weights everyday. When you attack someone personally you expect that they are going to attack you back. This is the internet after all, there is no checks and balances like there are in real life.
I dont understand all the hate. Every single person could have got online with 9 friends and used the endless free upgrades on the preview server to make themselves near BIS and run the trial. You chose not to do this and that is your choice. These people dedicated their time to running this over and over. I watched one video by Tardeli that was 6 hours long (I think). That is 6 hours of him and 9 other people banging their heads against the trial trying to figure out exactly how to beat this, and that was just one day. is it any wonder why they were able to complete it on day 1 of it going live? They had already spent a month running the damn thing to learn it.
As i said earlier would everyone else be happy if we could auto complete the damn trial with over damaging companions? would that make you happy? How many patch notes were there on preview where it was X power by Halaster does x less damage, or X power no longer auto hits a person? Sure these may have been caught by other people who were attempting the trial or maybe caught when it hit live, but by the sounds of it no one else was bothering to even attempt this on Preview.
All this hate against these so called Elitist players all it is going to do is actually turn them into Elitists. All of the good that is done by these people will disappear and the rest of us will be left with nothing. Janne's website, Rainers character builder and pocket wiki, Sharp's Tomm guide, Viral's and Tardeli's streams - all gone. Why keep it going when all that happens is getting HAMSTER on for being an elitist and accused of being real money traders and only interested in profits.
~but... didnt u complain about ToMM? ToMM isnt all content, there is plenty of solo content in the game, if thats what u are looking for.~ .
Read before replying, you are not payed by post, although the amount of empty comments you have , one might believe that you are. Not only did I not complain about ToMM , I said it would be ok if it was not the 4 strike on solo playing. Enlightened me, what is this wonderful solo content you are talking about for players that have all the Campaigns and events done? And you will not answer on topic - 1 because you obviously can not , 2 because it is nothing to answer. .
Tom was not wrong. Most of the content in the game is solo-able. The only things that are not solo-able are dungeons and it it specifically tells you to form a team when you get your first dungeon missions.
As for your 4 strikes
1.- Remove LifeSteal. - Life steal needed to be changed. Whether removing entirely was the right move or nerfing it severely was is another discussion but when no one ever needed to worry about healing that was a problem.
2.- 2 MODS- 16,17 of group content. - Yes, it can be done solo but they were not designed for singular player. You just confirmed it is solo-able. If it can be done solo than yes it is designed for solo. Does it get easier in a party, absolutely but so does everything else in the game.
3. Introduce a trial that requires not only good players joining , but good players that better dance around with a Ballet Master. - its an experiment that they tried, where the difficulty is far above what else in game, However it has no effect on being able to play solo as you were not doing any of the other top dungeons solo either
4. Impose trinity on random queue. - Again this has nothing to do with soloing playing. You can still random queue as a solo and eventually you will get you in but again this only affects RLQ as it was already there on the other queues.
