This event that rewards 600 Influence, is not affected by the influence boost companion or the 2x Influence event. This seems like an oversight and I reported it last event.
After clarifying with the team, a note was added to the blog post for 2x Influence indicating that the Marauder event does not qualify for double influence by design.

Respectfully, between the limits of getting Inf from Marauders 1x/week and the infrequency of 2xInf events, that's a load of hamster hooey.
Also, they should clarify if not getting Double Influence from boon structure quests is intended. And the fact that the SH Cleric companion ONLY affects HE rewards. @nitocris83
If the event (and companion) is designed to ONLY affect SH HE rewards, they might as well say exactly that, the way 2xProfession Resources only affects nodes (not rewards from opening packs/boxes, for example). As it stands, both imply more than you actually are able to get from them.
Yeah, the fact that it was purposely designed to not work with double influence events is stupid.
I have no idea what your (the devs) numbers are telling you on completion rates of marauders but I have to think they have dropped significantly since the vent was released. It is just a laggy buggy mess that you need to suffer through and it isn't worth continuing past 5 waves to get "increased" rewards even on the times when you can get influence (once per week) and after that the rewards are so poor it isn't worth doing at all.
The big guilds in the game are at SH 20 already. Now you have all the smaller guilds that are struggling along and it would be nice if you gave them a hand. It has been mentioned before that there are metrics of how fast you are interested in seeing guilds grow at, and I think it is time that you got your SH dev team together and had a look at revamping those metrics, preferably really soon and not in a year or so when you launch SH expansion to SH 25 or 30.
You need to give these small guilds some hope of getting anywhere and a sense of progression before it is too late and the players either quit the game or throw in the towel on their small guild.
I know that asking the devs to look at the metrics again anytime soon is a pipe dream, but please just make marauders work with 2x influence, it won't have too large an impact on the game but it will definitely provide a carrot for lots of people to try a bit more, and it will drive sales on SH stuff from the zen store since people will finally have enough influence but might be short on shards or other currencies and so many people will look to top off their coffers by opening their wallets.
