My TR moved from 3.3k to 12k+ (that was expected, since she has all to boons) and my DC went from 2.5k to 9.5k (which was expected, since she lacks most of the boons) I like this, this is much more accurate than old system was.

In general, I like the new IL. However, the other night my IL was 11k+ and finally got into Fangbreaker. Today it had dropped to 9.8. Anyone had similar experiences? Still working out the kinks? Adding up all my item levels by hand, I get between 9.1 - 15k depending on if you include everything or not.

Make sure your companion is summoned (apart from bonus for companion rank you get IL from your summoned companion gear). And guild boons selected (especially if you're using different loadouts you can easily forget about them).
If the restructure is supposed to be a more accurate representation why did I go down? I was at 2.5k item level but when I came back after taking a break from NW I was less the 9000 points. I was able to play the master demo then i came back and wasnt able to This is so frustrating especially since you get jerked around with the enchanted keys which btw I am currently at vip 10 AND i have bought multiple boxes of keys and have NEVER EVER gotten any thing good from them. My better mounts, artifact equipment and enchantments I got from either buying it with Astro diamonds or gifts from friends.
Currently I am at 9800+ because I upgraded 2 of my artifacts to legendary status over the weekend yet again spending more money on this game with little results. This is worse then going to a casino where the odds are always in favor of the house.

part of the reason they did this is to get an accurate representation of a players power. it was possible to boost up your il without having essential things represented. if you went down you probably were missing some of the things needed to actually be able to contribute at the level the queue requires. boons, companions, mounts and insignia's are all things you should look at.

My old IL was 2700. And from the calculations posted should now be in the 9500's
But it's fluctuating between 7400 and 8400
