So many SWs playing the victim, it is the class dealing the most damage with the least effort. You curse, TT and then fire away and top DPS in any group. Barely need any gear for that. If it really isn't about "buffing SW", then why is everyone demanding a buff. Here on the forums, on the Legit community channel, everywhere.
I gave you guys 3 screenshots from 3 different scenarios on 3 different occasions. SW is in a REALLY GOOD PLACE.
the reason for these posts is, that lots of ppl if not the most started this class and do not know about the way to go nor the mechanics and feats and encounter to use thats why they post things, get helped and leave forum

Last night, we went to eLoL without a tank. When we were facing the scorpions, 2 GWFs, 1 DC, 1 TR died. Reset and re-do time ... but one SW was facing 2 scorpions inside. The SW killed both. One was ~50% health and one was 100% health. It took a long while and he solo and finished it.

Scorpion fight is not a good example for that. Any ranged class can solo it by kiting the scorpion. Even a 1600 iLvL player.

But damage-wise... ...they're fine enough.
Yeah the class could use better defensive options or buffs. It doesn't necc have to tie to lifesteal buffs just for SWs, though I wouldn't mind that thematically.
Dps can be fine, but its rather lopsided what powers or setups are good there for the SW atm, imo. I would expect more consistency across the board as far as dps for a primary striker- when considering all the options. TT also kinda presents a problem there by fundamentally scaling vastly diff than ur stock daily. Its like stealth mechanics for pvp- its difficult to balance things when you have it around.

Well, I agree with that.. simple to me is fix a few encounters that would be a 1000x times better (arms of hadar is one.. it could be a devastating frontal AOE/CC , but its almost a melee skill and have no practical use for the leveling SW. This alone, a fix to this would be of great help to a SW class. Having a true CC opener that was a mob control, would be of help.
The problem is people keeping comparing apples and oranges.
The SW in a dungeon is mostly fine, as you have healing, a tank, etc. You can stay back and use your skills well. I find that GWFs consistently far outperform SWs at a similar ilvl, except in T2s because of the soul puppet damage bug.
Then you have levels. Yesterday someone in my guild was telling me how easy it is to play a SW, but she was level 50 something, where it's *considerably* easier to play a SW than at end game.
Solo is really tough because you have extremely low damage resistance, low hit points, no dodge, and you aggro everything that moves. Animations are so slow that you will get pounded before being able to get off TT or the like, and dreadtheft will pull any mob that happens to be within 5 miles of you. It takes far too long to build up sparks (soulbinder), and you're even more vulnerable without them; you completely rely on the soul puppet for damnation yet I see it go down in a couple of hits in IWD or WoD.
PVP is by far the worst. Add all the problems of solo, your soul puppet easily one shotted, no defence against TRs, no real CC, and any class with stun/root/CC can disable you and kill you before you're able to move.
Well, those are the points you can explain over and over again, and some will still only jump on those videos with some SW in highend equipment, soulbinder/damnation and burning their way through some dungeon.
yes soloing, doing HE´s with big mob groups its tough below a virtual GS from 2,5
PVP is special: WL>CW WL>OP (due to broken aura from OP), so its more a bug than a skill GWF>WL TR>WL Hunter >WL DC>WL (faithfull or rightous doens´t matter)
the only class you can constanly beat is the CW because of putting your dots on him and cc him he can´t fight back most time
but a CW can perform quite good against other classes like GF and GWF and more having more flexability as I could see watching Veron beating constanly 3,5 Cookie-Cutter-GWF wearing all broken stuff , himself wearing PVE stuff and valindra-set using repel, and some other encounter....I don´t know much about CW, only that warlock can perform good against them, in case you have some skill (obviously)
