There's been some nice designs in this thread so far, with some thoughts.* Diamondback looks neat, I like the little hazard stripes. Also, those are the boots he actually currently has in-game. * I imagine Defender would/should still be keeping his identity a secret. * We really need some natural hairstyles for black…
I've wanted to look into updates for the Heroes of Detroit since Blood Moon last year and a player-held contest that was about redesigns for them. As for the image, I use the demo_record function and playback to do it. It requires editing to .demo file to display an NPC's costume instead of the player's and using the…
How about an updated Claude Baine that looks like a scary monster and not like he just walked out of a furry convention. Redesign is on the right, just in case.
The devices appear to use weapon skins from the costume itself, so simply go grab a weapon power and customize the look of it from a tailor. After retconning back out of the power the costume data still retains the weapon skin information, and the device should use that.
Suggestion Add a display device for Unarmed Martial Arts as well since players that use the keybind to display weapons also use that keybind to put themselves into the unarmed combat pose.
Suggestion: Add a device for Unarmed Martial Arts as well since people use the same keybind for weapons to put themselves into the unarmed combat pose.
NPCs like Valerian Scarlet are actually using a floating stance, so it is already in the game. It's really just up to Cryptic if they want to allow players to use it.
I would prefer being able to choose what animations you want for abilities over power replacers. It would obviously use more animations then what is currently offered, so like you said you could have your ice powers use rifle or pistol animations instead. That kind of complexity would probably require it be done in tailor,…
Sadly, I expected as much, but thanks anyway. It was mostly needed for creating her wiki page since we have the Crowns of Krim Eclipse in the game as well, and I needed a way to distinguish their article names.
I would consider adding two elements, * A visual link or tether between any Doomlords and Takofanes, basically a big red line connecting them. * When a Doomlord is up and Takofanes doesn't have the Celestial Punishment buff, he gains at least a 50% damage reduction buff and a big red shield visual.
I have been getting information for the interesting NPCs that show up during the various Nemesis missions. However, two continue to elude me during Bunker Buster: Cursed Dragon and Deadly Shrike. If anyone spots them during their runs of Bunker Buster, I would like some information on them:* Their right-click get info…
Let's see some costumes pieces that are in the game but not currently available to players made available. Sapphire's Gloves (could be made available during the Anniversary Celebration) Herculan: Head and Chest Layer (could be made available during Circus Malvanum) Sovereign Sons Neck (could be made as a new drop from…
I've made some final adjustments to the look of the vendor table and will probably move forward with it unless there are some critiques. If a vendor only has one tab I'd probably just turn off the expandable part of the table. http://www.championswiki.com/index.php?title=Convention_Merchant
You can also the in-game command /screenshot_ui as well. Do people want a separate page for Valerian Scarlet as a contact? I ask mostly because she uses a different costume as one.
Andrew Duggan, the LEAF employee standing at the helicopter landing pad during Crisis in Canada, sends you to Justiciar but that's about it for them. I don't believe any missions in the Crisis in Canada zone were ever removed, only the open mission was nixed. Where is this NPC in the zone?
Bug Anywhere While in Arcane Flight your character's chin clips through the Cyber Cowboy neck piece. Suggestion Probably re-weight more of the neck piece to the chin bone.
Alright, spent some time today trying to remember (and looking up) wiki markup to cobble together an NPC infobox. Currently, contacts (and heroes) and villains use two separate infoboxes. Defender and Grond use those older infoboxes, while I updated Shadow Destroyer with the version I put together. If anyone has thoughts,…
As far as I can remember the Samurai costume was available in the store when the game launched and it was character bound. People complained, and it was changed. Sadly I don't remember much beyond that. I want to say the perks system and its costume unlocks change came later.
The game originally launched with all costume unlocks being character specific, and that included costumes bought from their in-game store. They were changed to account unlocks pretty quickly. If Cryptic were to revert back to that it would be incredibly surprising, but I suppose Cryptic does like to surprise.
Since some people seem to think that the player characters in The Secret World are not supers, what exactly is their definition of a superhero if it isn't someone with superpowers doing heroic acts?
Although this may have already been in, but unclaimed codes from before the merge are available through the Main Menu at the Manage Subscriptions page as well.
Having just watched a contest in-game, I can happily report that the only thing that was toxic were the entitled, bratty attitudes of a bunch of contestants who thought it was a grand idea to insult and belittle the judges and the winners they chose. Toxic indeed.
