I found out about the game through someone mentioning it as good for creating characters for RPGs. I had nothing better to do with my time at that point in my life, so I figured I'd give it a try.
I'm now imagining a power where you throw a cheeseburger into someone's open mouth. Or, no, no! Spinach! It would be like the current draysha gas pistol, but it would be spinach!
This reminds me of the time me and a few other people started a conga line in ren cen carrying random objects and saying absurd things that drinking Narcola could do for you. I was playing a character with Ooze Tunneling, so I acted as a sentient puddle of Narcola telling people to drink me. It was amazing.
Getting back to the original topic, given that there are no real rewards for completing the Lemurian Crisis and that getting a team together for it therefore ranges from unnecessarily difficult to impossible, there is no good reason for it to not have a solo-queue option in its current state.
Vikorin went from being soloable for endgame-geared characters or doable for teams of more normal characters to being only for teams of endgame-geared characters, but without any rewards worth the effort of getting such a team together (if you can even get a team to slog through it in the first place). I am absolutely…
You can already buy questionite with zen from the questionite exchange. A lot of the stuff you've suggested is either already in the game (lasso device, power armor lasers, the entire force framework, etc), do-able to some degree (green colored lariat for vines, appropriate auras with might for elemental melee), would be…
I don't really see the point, honestly. If Petmasters become strong enough to inflict real dps on their own, then they displace DPS characters, without requiring any real skill to do so (not that most damage rotations require much, but it's certainly more than "stand there and do nothing"). But if they don't do that, then…
Unless they did this as a response to said feedback. Either way, problem solved. The rest of the update looks quite good to me as well. I'm quite happy with it.
I would prefer a mission where you and an ally jointly control of a Mega Destroid (like the ones in Resistance) to fight Qwyjibo in Millenium City, followed by Teleiosaurus (with the final section of the fight taking place in the air).
Have you ever looked at the way characters aim in this game? We should consider ourselves lucky bullets do any damage at all, given that nearly all of them are clearly way off!
But if munitions characters are already stacking Furious, then they have no need of it from their AO. Ego Surge was a case of an overperforming AO. It's difficult to call the (soon to be) old LnL an overperformer in the face of Imbue and Ice Sheath. I also see no particular reason why LnL should be so heavily chained to…
The mod storage is a welcome change. I don't think so. If anything, I'd say it makes it less attractive to non-munitions characters (Furious or not, the crit chance is reduced, and most people aren't going to take an AO for self-healing). It feels to me like they're trying to nerf it without making it feel like a straight…
In my experience, when dps pulls aggro at a cosmic, it's usually because they didn't give the tank time to build aggro or the tank died. In both scenarios, a threat wipe doesn't solve the problem; it simply passes it on to someone else.
If everything scaled with your primary to that degree, the vast majority of powers in the game would become worthless overnight. Everyone would simply pick whatever had the biggest numbers and be done with it. If you know what you're doing, though, there are quite a few powers that synergize astonishingly well with other…
