As someone who deals with feedback professionally for decades, "don't do this" is often the exact type of feedback you want. It's clear and concise in telling you something is unwanted. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is more than an idiom, it's often sound advice in a culture of change for the sake of change (looking…
The vast majority of improvements to the game (particularly QOL stuff) was either stuff directly suggested by players (either in-game or on one of several old chat channels) or stuff posted on PTS in raw form and improved in conjunction with player feedback. The flip side to that is there have been a number of changes that…
Who is this change aimed to benefit? It objectively doesn't benefit long time players who play all of their characters and thus know exactly what page, and what slot, to look for; akin to someone knowing where to look for a certain scene in their favorite movie, book, or comic. Of the changes I've witnessed in the last…
Pretty much. Giant themed characters that barely get bigger than Ironclad now (unless we make ridiculous proportions at character/costume creation) aren't thematically interesting anymore. Also, the cheering bug is far from fixed.
Yup, this is definitely something that never should have happened enough times to be considered "par for the course." Sad to see, once again, that the whoevers that are in charge continue to unnecessarily eroded the trust of a loyal and passionate community. There was zero to gain lying about this as opposed to just…
There was a point (cap) at which you couldn't purchase any characters anymore. I know I hit that point at some point, but can't tell you what the exact number was because it was years ago that I noticed it. That said, it was inconsequential because leveling a character and getting a new slot had no cap. There are multiple…
Smack, how many slots do you have? I have about 60 something currently occupied (which is above the 59 cap I remember reading) with about 30 something empty give-or-take but I never had a problem collecting the freebie slots. Trying to figure out where this threshold actually is/was because 59 wasn't it and neither was 90…
Genuinely surprised that in the event that subscriptions were to be phased out freeform wasn't to be made available to all accounts with the cash shop just dedicated to selling cosmetics, devices, and the like. This system, and ones similar to it, work wonderfully in other games I've played but for years the explanation…
It saddens me that after all these years, this question can still be asked without having to invoke a certain level of hyperbole to make it work. I'm baffled by some of these impending changes.
Sent you four payments Smack. Three for my characters and one for Cyrone85. P.S. You can ignore my Facebook message if you see this post before that message, answered my own question. Mine 1) Sho Nuff, Flight 2) Arctic Flare, Fire Flight 3) Saga Venefica, Mystic Flight Cyrone85's 1) Protogen, Rocket Jump
Am I the only one that remembers when we were explicitly told this would "never" happen? Wait a minute, I've been in this community long enough. I KNOW I'm not the only person that remembers that.
I personally find the controller to be fine. I've been playing CO with a controller the vast majority of the time for nearly 6 years. The only things I even have custom keybinds for are pet controls for my pet master builds and that's all done using a keybind file as opposed to third-party key mappers.
I don't really have a dog in this anymore. Everything I stated would happen already did yesterday so I'm done. However... For those of you against removing plasma sheer you need to understand why people like Panta and Cross are saying that as opposed to simply capping the stacks. The stacks on a target are, from what I…
This isn't true for every build. Several players who I know to be well versed in building and playing were one shotted through blocks. Non-con builds and builds not using defensive passives being the obvious victims but not always. Then there are the ones without flight that take AOE damage...then fall damage putting them…
It's odd to come to the forum where the release notes are posted and then mention you haven't seen any since May. They are still posted in the Super News Network section as they've always been. http://co-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=289461
Considering how energy management can work in this game this would be god mode without also putting a cooldown on PF. Otherwise, it's shield spam all day everyday.
Any good boxer punching for power self-roots and drives through and from the floor. Volume punchers who are trying to score points however ignore this because KO power isn't their concern.
I'm probably missing something, or maybe it's because I played mostly on Sho Nuff who's over 300 STR, but I've never been knocked by anything on the way to Mechanon yet. Which minions are knocking you around? Also, this... directly contradicts this... ...making it appear like you're changing your commentary for some…
And then you have nut jobs like me who play a melee main and deliberately ignore the stability belt because it makes the fight feel more epic. Don't judge me.
That's been a concern of mine for quite some time now. Will try to make it but it will be a stretch for me. I'll head home promptly after BJJ class ends tonight (unless you mean tomorrow as in Wednesday in which case it should be easier for me to get things squared away on my end to participate).
Converting up is never a good idea. Players who I trust nigh implicitly put the total amount of recog required for all the current Mechanon pieces at about 380 IIRC. I have more tokens than that on several of my 65+ characters. If I could convert up, I'd likely run the mechanon stuff once or twice solo to experience the…
