Release Notes for FC.31.20131213.19:

Preview

There is a new Welcome window that appears when log in (it will not appear again until you completely exit the game and then run it again).
Magical Girl costume has been added to the Debugger store.
Petal Cloud Aura has been added to the Debugger store.
Reorganized the Debugger store a little. Rampage rewards are now in their own tab to make room for new things.

Rampage Revamp

Fixed an issue that allowed you to open a Private Queue window when already in a queue for that instance.
Justice Gear turnins are now on the Drifter.
Perks have been added to the Rampages.

The new build has crashed when entering the game three consecutive times, on two different characters. (Assuming the update's in, as it's after 11 AM). The character loaded just fine on .15

Thanks, we have found the cause. A new version will go up shortly. We're taking PTS down for now.

I too have crashed every times the zone loaded. Tried characters copied over and even created a new character. Crashes every time.

These are sets that have been on the back order for a looong time. Wait for them to finish all the half done things. Play the Rampage coming out tomorrow. There's plenty of modern costume drops in there.

Besides, how many different times can they make power armor chest piece before it gets old? If you want some new costume set ideas then start suggesting them.

I'd say the six minute long magical girl costume transformation emote crashed the game, but then someone might take it seriously.

Will this new welcome window replace the old On Alert and Reload windows that display OUT of ORDER for new players? Those windows teach about modding vehicles before teaching about modding or knowing about the game in general.

We are currently pushing FC.31.20131213.19 to PTS. This build fixes the crash issue.

All the costume pieces are not called magical girl except for the neck. The pieces either fall under bow or lace. Don't know every costume piece that is unlocked with this. I hear its all named lace and bow.

Will the cat "pet" unlock with this set?

The Welcome window is alright. Is the way its set up involving C Store items a sign of Champions getting weekly sales?

Harajuko Set have some really nice costumes that CAN be really nice as well like GLASSES, Boots, Jacket with Pins, Panda Hat, Panda Bag! Why the Harajuko Glasses are not Unisex in the First Place?

Hmmm...not bad as far as a sailor moon homage set goes. Its a bit annoying that guys got left out of the action though.

Any chance we could get some 'Ranger' or Rider costume bits to balance the set out?

Also, a heart themed heavy weapon staff would be nice.

Sidebar: The petal aura is nice, but I'd like to see a white cherry blossom varient.

1. This being "Female only" with pieces which could easily be used by males is annoying. As has been said...please stop this practice.

2. The "Welcome Screen" seems pretty pointless unless you have some plans for it. Please ellaborate on such plans.

3. Magical girl:

-Laces on "Magical Girl" Chest cannot be colored. Please tie to either 3rd or 4th color as either would work with what is already there IMO.

-Shoulders are Material ??? when originally selected. Please rewire BOTH laces to be color 2 and then make flower details on shoulders color 3. They also are missing Pattern: Plain Trim(well, almost everything else with a lace pattern has it as an option, why not? More on this later).

-Arm acc material is ??? when originally selected. Please rewire color 2 to arm band color(it can keep the shading bit it already has for all I care honestly).

-Bracer material is ??? when originally selected. Please rewire color 2 to arm band color(it can keep the shading bit it already has for all I care honestly).

-Hip Layer(the one with the front part since there are 2...with the same name) needs color 4 to be connected to the divided section at the top.

-Leg Acc material is ??? when originally selected. Please rewire color 2 to arm band color(it can keep the shading bit it already has for all I care honestly).

-Hips Layer(butt cape) and Tails/Rear Acc(also butt cape) are missing Pattern: Plain Trim.

Ok, that's what I have for this trip.

If you made a male-only costume this forum would explode in fury of a thousand estrogen artillery strikes.

Sailor Moon magic girls? In a game based on Western superheroes? Really? Okay, now the crowd can finally be placated. Let's move on from this magic fantasy wizard fairy and anime kawaii crap- there's enough of it out there in other games that I don't play for a reason.

Weapons are being neglected. Wearable weapon parts are shoddy and cheesy looking at best. Can we PLEASE get some costume packs that are weapons- both usable and WORN to match some of the variety we already have and diversify them?

I would. I can assure you it would blow up the internet, because a massive number of people play female toons and get REALLY sensitive about their costumes. Yeah, you can say this is 'why' they want female costumes, but I throw the flag.

To be fair- I'm still baffled as to why Cyberpunk wasn't an 'arms' set, with the two torsos being an option for both genders and the chest armor being available for females.

And thigh pouches are female only, which annoys me.

So now we have two (Completely out of place in a western superhero game) costume sets that are female-only. I can handle some variety- but if you're going to do a female costume, do a male one as well.

More obnoxious than that is the overwhelming number of fantasy/mystical/supernatural costume sets.

The Archer set primarly caters to fantasy setting. Some pieces are usable with other themes, but clearly the set is not a 'modern' archer.

Bone Armor? You can maybe pass that off as some kind of mutation thing.

Halloween masks? The kabuki mask counts, but that's it.

Victorian? Not many Victorian characters running around in the comics I own or read, because none of them take place in the Victorian Era.

Cardboard Box? Might as well make fart cloud auras and armpit noise emotes while we're at it (I'm serious, this would be cool and I would spend money on it).

Feather Armor was OK, would be better if the actual 'feathers' could be toggled off- still not something 'superhero'.

Robot Samurai costume was 'meh'. Some cool parts but the sword still clips on male butts because of the weird angle. Oddly enough it does not have this problem with female models. Don't see why the sword couldn't have a smaller variant or pair of smaller ones across the back at a different angle.

Before this, I think the last thing we had was the wizard and witch costume set, then the power armor, then Nighthawk.

This is not a fantasy MMORPG, Neverwinter is. I like fantasy in some cases and where it belongs. Please show a bit more love to the following:

Traditional Superhero concepts. New tights patterns, or even 'armored tight patterns' would be a welcome addition. Utilize the 90's face plate to create some patterned masks. This is a superhero game, yet the selection of wearable items for a 'standard superhero' are pretty drab and boring.

Show some more love to weapons both wearable and usable. All worn weapons are pretty lame and generic, with the selection being limited to the most basic and boring models. Please go through the unlockable/usable weapons for weapons powers and consider making those models wearable on the back or as a belt accessory.

All the pistols in this game except a small handful are kinda lame looking- and the anime pistols STILL fire the muzzle flash to the side. With the massive plethoria of gun-wielding and sword-swinging characters in comics you cannot excuse this glaring neglect while showing what seems to be a preference to fantasy themes.

With all the auras we have, unless your character is some kind of elemental-weilding, cosmic powered (whatever that is), or magical character- the majority auras are thematically useless. Please consider a holo-hex aura or some kind of hi-tech shielding stuff.

I'm not being rude, but this is what I consider honest criticism. I don't spend my money on the fantasy and female costumes- so I think it's only right to say why. You guys are doing many great things,and I will say that the 'quality' of the costumes- even if they are not my style, the quality is good and looks nice.

I want a gender change token. If I have a new idea for a character, and have purchased 10+ff slots, and am tired of a character, I'd like the option of changing the character en total. I don't get why this request is sexualized or ignored.

City of Heroes had a gender change feature at the tailor (with a certain pack purchased). One of the books I've read recently involving "heroes" has one whose role is infiltration and he is able to shapeshift himself into a woman. I don't see anything that would keep CO from getting a feature like this.
