Legacy Weapon Styles - make them obtainable!

Here http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/championsonline/#/discussion/238707/all-unlockable-costume-pieces mentioned some weapon styles, those are in-game (models for them are present), but currently can't be obtained anyhow, unless someone has been crafted these Power Replacers years ago. Meanwhile, some of these styles could look great & appropriate for certain character themes. Personally l want "VRD-A4 'Frost' Ice Rifle", one player wants "Therakiel's Sword" so strong, that is ready to pay full stack of keys (999 keys) for it.

So, let'z make Power Replacer return somehow, in Drifter store or maybe make it one-time event, like Timewarp event. Or even make new lockbox having chance to drop some Power Replacer item in it (e.g. like Forum Malvanum or Socrates lockbox, but Power Replacers drop instead of Mercenary (1 replacer) or Legion gear (2 replacers)). lt would be neat & pretty profitable, because l already imagine lot of players gambling keys on these lockboxes, trying to win "Therakiel's Sword".

The major issue with the old power replacers is that they take up a primary item slot, and tend to give pretty poor stats and bonuses.

I would like the visuals for the power replacers to come back as weapon skins. My preference would be to have the skins tied to the attack type. So, choosing the ice rifle as your weapon skin (in the costume editor) would change the assault rifle attack damage type to ice.

Even some of the current weapon skins would benefit from this system. Some of the sci-fi rifles and pistols and the 90's blaster would all make way more sense if they fired energy blasts instead of solid ammo. The sci-fi ones have little antennae, not barrels, yet they somehow shoot bullets if you choose them for your munitions weapon skins.

As I understand it, when CO was with Cryptic North, Radioscience had it on his list of "wants" to get around to providing thos skins, however with the move back to Los Gatos, and Radioscience now not being dedicated CO resource I think these pieces are back in limbo for the moment.

/signed. I would love to get some of those weapons back like the big Runic blade, some short swords, and the alien guns.

Getting the power visuals back is a big problem. Getting the costume unlocks back just requires implementing a means of getting them (I'd prefer item drops where the items originally came from, but there's also dropbox, drifter store, Q store, Z store, recognition store, ...).

1: they should have the skins drop as costume unlocks from wherever they orgionally came from before they were removed, failing that, put them in the c-store or a drifter box or something

2: the vfx from said power replacer [such as laser bullets] could be made into a toggle device or an aura or something that you can get from the recoengiontion store

3: one last thing they should add back in would be the open mission reward devices/power replacers ya know....to give people a reason to run them more than once....like....ever.

Since this team is being led by the original maker of Champions Online, instead of making them something new maybe they'll update them and put them back in the game proper. Or if they want to go as far as make them auras and weapon unlocks that's good too.

+ "VRD-A4 'Frost' Ice Rifle" should be a skin for PBR, not just "assault rifle".

They should find ways to get these old skins in the game in whatever ways they can.

Some can be drops, some could be in some store or another (Drifter, Collector's, Nemesis, UNTIL, SCR and/or GCR, Questionite, maybe even Zen), some could be mission reward options for some high level stuff (Therakiel's Temple, Nemcon, Andrith Ruins, and the Mandragalore are all options, but there could be others, either lower-level lairs or new ones).

I would prefer they not add them to things that already have a lot of appeal, though.
Fighting Eidolon or running TA already have a lot of rewards. No need to add more when there are other things that could be made more appealing by adding these costume unlocks to them.

And if they decide to update those old lairs, then all the better.
