Server Down?

wow... do many "disconected fron server"
then the launcher dont work because dont find the server.

After a lot of tryng the laucher say this ▼

    Um? We just had extended maintenance?

    I can understand not listening to the players. Not in the policy.
    I can understand not giving us any real content and the holiday events all but the extremely rare double xp being practically worthless.
    I can even understand that if there will be fixes they will probably further ruin the game.
    But I've paid over 300 dollars for this game, I'd really like to see it turned towards better hosting.

    well you are right, All player want see a new hosting/server or just see fixed bugs that lag the playgame.

    i had spent more than 1000 dollar (in this year) in this game even the LTS. So i know how you feel.

    Same here. Experienced multiple disconnects, and now can't even get the Autolauncher started. What amazing timing, just in time for people to get off from work for New Year's Eve and then....not be able to play the game.

    It's been kind of sketchy the last few days. Maybe the hamsters that are powering the servers via the wheel generators are getting old and they didn't get any more for Christmas this year.

    Same here. Got dc'd from game and now nothing. Launcher attempts to update then I get the failed message. Bypassing launcher with .exe gets me to the login but not connecting to the account server

    And, as TT has explained up there in Super News, it looks to be a connection issue with the data center. Be happy it happened today, and not tomorrow - I don't expect anyone to be in the office tomorrow...

    Oh, duh. The launcher goes up, but the Server Status icon is red. And yeah, it wouldn't let me get to my characters.

    The connection to login server times out on me. Wonderful, now I have to figure out something else to do, and that often wreaks havoc with my OCD when everything has been planned out and scheduled in advance.

    Yeah, I was finally getting close to actually building a full set of heirloom gear, which I've never bothered to do before. Today, across my several alts who I've been plugging away on nemesis missions with, should have been the day. I actually wanted to play CO and not League today, but I've been on League all day, checking the CO servers in between, since getting booted this morning after grabbing 2/6 pieces of heirloom gear. :frown:

    I play enough (and have played enough, and keep coming back often enough) that LTS was worth it for me. If I had paid monthly for Gold access, I would've spent more by now, and gotten less (like no Zen stipend on months when I wasn't playing, just building up while I was away). I'm cheap, too. That's why I only play MMOs where I can pay once to have full access until one of us is dead (CO, LotRO, STO).

    Saying the reason you don't buy an LTS because the internet is broken is like saying the reason you take the bus instead of buying your own car is because sometimes there are road closures.

    Nothing says "Self entitled first-world problems" like "I'm mad because the video game I like to play has been down ALL DAY! That's like... a whole day, man!"

    In my case I wouldn't take the bus because I don't NEED the bus, it doesn't really save much of my time, the bus gets little to no maintenance and the very few people who used to take said bus are leaving it as the days pass.

    Actually, it isn't, specially because I wasn't referring to the server downtime only, but hey, since you are clairvoyant, let's guess the lottery numbers!

    I meant to say that I don't buy lifetime subscription because of all the things the players usually complain about, meaning all the broken stuff, the small community, the bugs that persist for years, the lack of endgame content. You know, all those stuff people mostly complain non-stop, except when I say that I don't want to buy LTS, then someone comes to me and pseudo-arguments with a munchausen's trilemma, stating that my reason is absurd because my reason is absurd.

    But it's alright, I don't really care about your opinion anyways. I always discard idiotic people, thanks to the "block user" function.
