Most people don't know the new gods stuff from DC though, it's why you often see people call Darkseid a Thanos clone, so you're probably right, we will see more galactus clones.

The worst thing is, this is not the worst case of people mistaking stuff for clones, or even getting what's the clone the wrong way around.

Case in point, I've encountered people who called Doctor Who a Bill and Tedd ripoff and Man of Steel a Superman ripoff.

I'll agree with everyone on how epically kirbyesque the set is. Definitely picking it up when it appears, and also hoping for the weapons. I can't help but wonder if there will be bump in sales of super magnifiers as a result of this release? You can't really look like a celestial if you're only a couple meters tall.

Frankly, if one is to worry about character clones, then it's kinda too late.

What already is in the costume creator is enough to cause an infringement:

Congratz Meeda! Fantastic set! Can't wait to get it. I was checking it out on PTS and it looks super. I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with the energy head option? I don't even seem to have it. Anyways, still a great set and I am looking forward to purchasing it. (I would also like to see the weapons)

You have to go under headwear and it's a piece called Head cap, it will unlock the custome
    Head accessories.

I've brought up the desire for this option to be permeantly unlocked. It henders customization if you can't use those aura with all faces.

Here's the reason for the scepter weapon:

Persornally - I think we're going to see the Starguard in game soon. I am basing that on pure speculation.

That being said, this is one of the neatest sets to come out in a while.

Yeah, it's a pretty good set. However, with the weapons that were designed for it that "pretty good" would go right up to awesome.

Come on cryptic, there has been a real lack of new weapons to match sets. For Cosmic Knights we need............................................... COSMIC WEAPONS!!!

    For Kirby's sake.

I kinda wonder what's the difficulty with adding weapons.
Models are pretty basic, composed of simple shapes. Glowing sword blade uses pretty much the same trick as glowing energy swords we have now.
Kirby dots on the scepter could be a problem, but they don't really need to be animated.
Considering the scepter itself has only two shades of metal, it leaves two color channels to be used on glowing dots.

I have a feeling they're going to save the weapons for either a future lockbox, or wait until Star*Guard missions come out, and have Recog to buy the weapons with.

I am curious why they didn't add the Full Helmet option to the costume set. They have the headless mask, the half helmet, and the partial mask, but not the full helmet.

Well, from the pictures of the half helmet I think it'd just be easier to use the Alien Hybrid mask in conjunction for a nice resemblance to the "Full Helmet" look. I mean, the mask can be used on EVERYTHING and its in Mouth Accessories...

Disclaimer: I will be editing this as best I can based on changes between the PTS and Live versions of this costume set. That being said, this is a pretty long post.
Tests now completed for both Male and Female Toons.

    Heads & Hairs:

    -Head Type: Headless:
--Well, it does exactly what it says it does.
--Bug: Catagory Full Helmets removes Eyes Catagory.
--Bug: Catagory Monstrous removes Eyes Catagory.
--Bug: Catagory Huge Alien Helmets removes Eyes Catagory.
--Bug: Catagory Huge Rigid Helmets removes Eyes Catagory.
    --Bug: Beastial removes Eyes Catagory.
    --Bug: Insect removes Eyes Catagory.

-Custom Top Accessory: Cosmic Flames - All:
--Bug: Head Sliders do very little to nothing to adjust this.
--Bug: Pink is pink flames with very dark pink dots. Red is pink flames with red dots. Please make pink flames in red...red.
-Bug: Dot color on all except black(which is white) is black now. Please revert to previous colors.
--Please add Black 2 which has dark purple dots like most of the darkness set by default. Alternatively, please just make all the dots colorable on all of these.
--Please copy item to Top Accessory and Head Wear without restriction from needing Head Cap.

    -Custom Helmet: Cosmic:
--Please copy item to Eye Accessory Catagory and Head Wear Catagory without restriction from needing Head Cap.
--Please move color selection 2 to color selection 1.
--Please split side lines and <> on forehead and sides to color selection 2.
--please split split central bits in forehead and sides to color selection 4 and add glow.Glow was added here
    --Please add Glass/Psi/Hex.

--Please move innter mask trim lines to color 2. Glow was added here
--Please split central forehead section to color selection 3.
--Please split forehead dots and chin slits to color selection 4 and add glow.
Bug: switching to Full Helmets Catagory, Huge Rigid Helmet causes Eyes catagory to vanish and eyes to turn solid blue.
Bug: Switching to Huge Humanoid Helmet, Huge Alien Helmet, Huge Rigid Helmet, and Luchador Masks applies Headwear: Armadillo.
--Please apply "None" option to Headwear for Huge Humanoid Helmet, Huge Alien Helmet, Huge Rigid Helmet, and Luchador Masks and place at top of list to correct.

    -Headwear Cosmic:
--Please set lines in color section 3 to color selection 4 and add glow.

--Please set * section to color selection 4 and add glow.
    --Please add Glass/Psi/Hex.
--Please copy to Top Accessory as an alternate option...since it doesn't really cover the eyes anyway. Could also likely copy to Headwear too for more use.

    -Top Accessory: Cosmic:
--Please either move this piece forward more towards the head or present an option that does this.
--Please set color option 2 to color selection 1 and add glow.
--Please set <> section in back to color selection 2 and add glow.

--If necessary please make Dragon Scale Armor and Round Scale Armor Pattern additions full body and not take into consideration the chest armor looking elements of Chest & Arms: Cosmic...or possibly make 2 entries for each.

    -Chest & Arms: Cosmic:
-- Bug: Please reinforce the arm connection points attached to color selection 3 so that chest depth and breast sliders do not so easily make the chest portions attached to color selection 2 clip through so easily. This is an issue, apparently, for "bulkier" female heroes(or midgies more specifically). This does not appear to affect Male Heroes.
--Please create option useable for Robotic Right Arm and Robotic Left Arm Catagories. If possible, make them so they do not have the area where the robotic arm would be please.
--Bug: Black lined sections are uncolorable. I am listing this as a bug because it is my opinion that uncolorable sections should almost never appear on unlocks.

    ...I couldn't resist.

    Edits:
-Corrected minor typos as I see them.
-Removed the unknowns that appeared in the Unlocked Costume Parts Tab, tested them, and replaced with new data.
-I think this is maybe kinda sorta done for now. I'll likely recheck it later anyways. <shrugs>
    -Updated information for Live version.

Overall this is an improvement from what was presented originally on PTS but I am still of the opinion it needed an additional week or two before release for PURCHASE(this being the magical word). The glow options, for example, were added yesterday. It is unrealistic for both the PTS process and the people who have to actually work on this project to be able to do much with that small of a time window IMO.

The addition of the glows was a nice touch but some of them seem to be on "odd" places while not offering glow options in places where previous sets would make me think they would be located. The lack of color selection divisions and non-use of all 4 color selections seems to be a real shame to me. If we have them...then in most cases they should be used. If you end up with 1 unused color and nowhere to put it just slap on Brushed Metal and use that as it's glow color. It's something.

IMO Holoforce and Psionic Dragon, while not perfect in implimentation(another post for another time) set the 2014 Cryptic North Costume Unlocks bar pretty high, especially with the inclusion of Hex, Psi, and Glass options. This standard should be the BASELINE for future additions from Cryptic North IMO.

Also, the other weapons should have made it into this set. We play in the Post-On Alert World here where many new players do not even remotely have access to the level of weapon geos that older players have obtained(unless they find someone selling them the BoE items which are usually not even remotely cheap and can be well above the Silver Cash Caps..<cough><STO Sells Cap Increases><cough> It is my opinion that these additions are needed.

It is my hope that the people who put the effort into testing these items see their work either adapted or be flat out told,"No, No, Maybe, Not even close, no, possibly, and sure we can do that bit." Speaking for myself only(and I was not the only one to delve into this set on PTS) I have logged roughly 11+ hours with this costume set testing out the various combinations and such to make sure that I got the best set I could possibly purchase, players got the best set they could possibly purchase, and...oh yeah...CN makes that money stuff.

Also, while I do not have many Anthro/beast/manimal/robo-skeleton toons...these options are options and therefore should not be as neglected/overlooked as they usually are. Please take this into consideration for past, present, and future sets. Dr. Bear-dog-wolf-lizard needs just as much love in this world as Captain 90's Piles-o-armor Man.

I have heard that this set is not complete and some edits might be coming down the pipeline to live for it. It is my hope that...well....<points up> there it is. Please....Amaze me.

TL/DR: Booooooom lotsa words. Please fix Costume Set.

This is another nice costume set, IMHO. Kudos to Meeda for the initial design and CN for the implementation. It was 475 Zen well spent.

Yeah, I know. This is where did appear my action figures from the same contest.

Well, I don't suppose anyone will feel like working in weekend, so maybe they'll handle it on Monday.

They're waiting on some dev information from me and LordGar, we weren't able to get it to them before the weekend. Sorry about that man, we'll have it to you soon.

So far I've combined the new invisible head with the glitches to make limbs disappear to create Psiblade, an ego blader with some Psi armor along with his glowing head-space and missing arms, and Ifrit, a fire-user with no head, arms, legs, or visible torso. (When she kicks in the Fire Flight, it looks really interesting...)

Now I really wonder if there's anyone alive at PWE customer support to give the costume to me.
Or I should wait till the next week?

I'm not sure if I missed a post but I don't see where they promised you a costume set. TT implies up above that might be the case but all I see is they just used your set with no mention of reward...I could be wrong.

Also the talk of action figures could be where the confusions is coming from. Since we just had a title/AF giveaway the same week.

1 - I was told about being given my own copy of this costume a week before the Cosmic Knight was announced. I actually knew about everything before it went to PTS.

2 - It was talk about the AFs from the costume design contest. Whatever item is given from contests lands in the inventory of your oldest existing character on the account. This is where AFs from the design contest ended.

As a confirmation, yes, you did miss a post:

It seems you are completely wrong.

You shouldn't be trying giving advices if you don't have any reliable informations, you know?

Like I said I could be wrong. But from this thread nowhere did it say, "and we will be giving you a costume set"

It looks like Eildeons gave you reliable information already, so...just wait, if you were indeed promised a set.

I am waiting for the customer service.

Edit: ok, I know what is happening. The costume item must be delivered by developers. Quite obvious, if to think about it... So I suppose the timeframe is the next game patch or something like that.

customer service is probably not reading the forums, i suspect a large portion of PWE customer support is handling flak from the Delta Rising release on STO to be honest.
