It's almost like people only read the topic and them immediately rushed in to respond without even reading the post... but no... you guys wouldn't do something that dumb.
Losing your target instantly after finally finding it is the most annoying thing about PvP.
Stealth should work the way it used to where you can't use target required to activate powers but could still know where the opponent is going and still position your AoE attacks.
This game is supposed to be fast paced, not wait to find the opponent.

Green actually looks at footsteps on the ground. It would be a pretty cool feature if they made the footsteps on the ground slightly more while in stealth.
Losing your target is only super annoying if there are other targets such as pets due to the targeting system being messed up. Stealth is needed for the games balance however to stop everyone from being super tanks.
But nothing like this will ever be changed / looked into really anyway. I just want the PvP queues to be fixed in some way.

The teleport is completely immune to Nailed To The Ground. It will teleport your target back to rencen no matter what you do o3o
bind a key to target enemy player and pets are suddenly no longer an annoyance in pvp.
Yeah this is also known as farming someone in BASH. <_<
I do use one key for targeting people however I only do it to specific people doing specific dirty play at the time. If someone is playing dirty I'll bind them usually so I can keep an eye on them and stop them from spawn killing or farming a new player / AT.

The "Teleport to Rencen" device is completely immune to Nailed To The Ground. It will teleport your target back to rencen no matter what you do o3o

Before perma AD's due to unbreakable being buffed that was the rotation people did. I remember in the AE calli war everyone would only be in combat while MD and ego surge was up then when MD goes down they use ascension and fly away.

You almost got it. The thread IS about the queue bug.. the "teleport" thing is just a joke. What it meant is that your opponents vanish before you can kill them.. because of the queue bug. They get kicked and go back to RenCen. That's why "teleport" is ruining pvp.
Teleport is right up there with Ascension as to what's wrong with PvP

Yes that's tanks that stack every layer of defense possible without effecting their damage so much that they can still do 30k burst damage. These builds are much worse than builds that actually have windows of vulnerability.
I find a lot of what people think is the problem with coPvP is rather mistaken, without teleport you would see even less differences in builds as not many people would be able to play an offensive build and get face planted as soon as they walk into BASH.
The fact teleport isn't allowed in duels is due to stealth sight being an issue as I said before I would have no problem with someone using teleport on my build as long as devices are allowed.

Well yeah before perma AD rotation there was MD ascension rotation. MMO PvP is all about rotations and how fast / constant someone can rotate them to counter the other players rotations. You also seem to forget how "defensive" ego surge can make someone and not just due to crit heals but how much pressure it'd put you under by using it.

It is generally hard for melee in this game and melee is considered underpowered in PvE let alone PvP where movement actually matters. It's impossible to have the same level of DPS as a melee so you end up having two choices, burst or stun lock.
To do both you either need some nice holds and it usually helps a lot especially on a melee build that is using something such as ego sleep (which is 50ft) to use LoS wait until they come in range then jump out and catch them running the wrong way. You don't really have to do this so much on a ranged toon especially if you are 100ft. People who don't use LoS will find a squishy melee build in PvP generally impossible to use.
The thing people forget about teleport is that you can't attack while using it and coming out from teleport will boost you randomly in the direction you are going making true teleporting in combat much less viable in a tight area not to mention the cooldown after attacking. Generally speaking teleport only truly works on burst builds actually in combat, a none burst build would need to only use teleport as it's "oh S**t button" to wipe player threat in a hero game.
This is another area where something like ice grenade is needed for the balance of the game in it's current state. Ice grenade makes it so the player cannot fly while the debuff is on meaning teleport doesn't get you anywhere. It also means that if you remove TP with something such as omicron and have just thrown a ice nade so they hit at the same time (due to projectile speed) if the person is jumping / flying in the air they'll take fall damage as ice grenade will force them right down onto the ground. I don't like it when people complain about device usage in PvP when generally with how things are it is needed for me to be able to beat some builds / tactics.

I know what you were referring to, I was stating it was bad enough before with the AD AO rotation.
Just making it an option you set beforehand, allow or not allow would do just fine.
1. This would be hard / take time to create a new system to do this.
2. Devices and gear that people can buy is one thing that if Cryptic did want to invest into PvP at all they would not take out. Just like in Neverwinter which has artefacts worth over £100 in real world money where you can get three artefacts, not to mention the gear and mod prices there. Pretty much devices being something that people will want yet being a certain price means that people are more tempted to buy keys and "pay to win."
Having the option to pay to win is something a lot of players actually like however there must always be the ability to get the same amount of cash in game so that there is also an option to play to win.
Devices have already been nerfed and it was a pretty heavy nerf for all but a few such as telekinetic force field inducer. You can no longer have 5 tele's, you can no longer spam 3-5 ice grenades in a row as your entire build and rotate them and you can no longer rotate omicrons because it used to not put nailed to the ground on.
I check out the game for the first time in years...and this is one of the most common complaints that people had when I left.

I've used ice blast before and many other's have used ice blast in the past. Nicki still uses it I think. Ice form has a pretty reliable chill/ice cage on it making it one of the best offensive passives.

Good luck getting the best gear on all 80 of your toons. (justice due to the time to get it or even just legions due to cost of getting it)
Ice Cage. put cripple and subzero cellblock. annoying as hell.
For me ice cage is ruined because it has damage on it. The damage doesn't remove smoke nades debuff due to ice cage being a pet however it does break/damage sleep despite being such a low damage number not to mention it healing unbreakalbe targets.

Power Gauntlet - Primary DPS ability / can interrupt abilities
Invulnerability - Defense Passive
Force Eruption - PBAoE Knockback (for melee targets)
Sonic Device - DPS boost and chance of hold/stun w.e
Retaliation - Self Damage buff after block
Containment Field - My only true CC ability that doesnt need a % chance or advantage
Bionic Shielding - Good for utility in grouping and a nice self reactive heal
Nanobot Swarm - Useful for burst DPS coupled with Sonic Device and good for refreshing my bio shield ability above
Chest Beam - Secondary DPS ability, has a defense debuff and a knockback chance
Unbreakable - This ability confused me in OB, but I want to test it out some more and see if its worthwhile now
Molecular Self Assembly - Dunno, guess I want a passive for grouping in lairs
Enrage - Since I have very little offensive powers, I rely on damage boosts from this, Sonic Device, and Retailiation
Rebirth - Figured this would come in handy for close 1v1 fights if I die
My superstats would be STR and CON
