Hey Champions!

We're excited to announce that FoxbatCon is now live for a limited-time!

Millennium City is this year's host to FoxbatCon, the premier convention in honor of the most handsome, dashing, daring and intelligent ne'er-do-well: Foxbat.

Come down today to Renaissance Center and meet the stars of the 1960s Foxbat TV show. Special Guest of Honor: Foxbat himself!

    I think there might be a glitch.

    So I enter the game and talk to Defender. Defender ask my hero to go get two autographs for him. I like the guy, so I go get the sigs for him and return. D hands over the swag he promised. Mission accomplished. Good deal.

    Now I enter the game with a 2nd hero thinking, easy peasy, except one of the celebs, Matt, I think, acts as if he did not hand over a autograph when he just did. I fly back over to Defender to see if he will treat the mission as accomplished, but he thinks the mission isn't done either. Now, I fly back over to Matt and try to get another sig, he give it up, but the mission is still being treated as unfinished.

    As you can see, only one of these comic book guys is treating my hero as if the mission is ready to be returned to D.

    My question is - I am the only one that this has happened to?

    I got both my autographs, but the matt one didnt tick the mission over, so i had to get another one. according to lordgar in pts thread they are doing a fix on this particular mission

    Yeah. Looks like there just about to take down the share to make a fix.

    Saw the ten minute warning and got out. :smile:

    All those Foxbat fans NPCs in RenCen who are dancing and spazzing out, cause random Frame Rate issues to me :|
    POWERFRAME REVAMPS, NEW POWERS and BUG FIXES > Recycled Content and Events and even costumes at this point Introvert guy who use CO to make his characters playable and get experimental with Viable FF Theme builds! Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!

    Hmm...

    Maybe the Devs need to treat it like Halloween and hide the moving cars for a bit.

    this mission IS bugged, and the fact that more people are coming out and saying so only reinforces the point.
    I have better: For at least 2 of my characters, once the 24h cooldown is over... it starts again, so I can't grab the mission anymore.

    Just wanted to say thanks to the CO team for the FoxbatCon event. The 90s Foxbat Costume set is awesome, I like the 4 new AFs from the vendor, and am working my way through the costume pieces now.

    It that all there really is to this "event"? Just a mission from defender, and a mission to find foxbat?

    Not to be rude, but with people putting money into this game, i would expect to be getting a little more out of the events. Even the new vehicle is disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent design, but it's entirely too small to put a hero in, at least from the one's I've been seeing.


    Over all, the things that have been added under Cryptic north have been relatively useless. Granted, it's at least SOMETHING, which is more than regular cryptic has done for this game in a long while, but is it really worth it?

    Cryptic North was supposed to be our own dev team to actively develop for Champions, yet all we're getting is a bad or buggy mission here and there, and more stuff to spend money on. Money that's not even being put back into this game for proper development. Why are we not getting any foxbat related power options (I'm not counting devices as they are devices)? Why no Squirrelboy sidekick?

    is this really all we're getting for this game now? Is there at least something else to this event that is actually fun?

    It came in parts on the PTS, I expect the same for Live.
    100% of the world is crazy, 95% are in denial.

    Could a Dev please answer the question I queried in another thread.

    Basically, I wanted to know if the Prankster Perk be broken?

    Or was it meant to work, but with the new drops.

    Edit - Oh, yeah. I guess I should also ask, Was it meant to not work because it's an April Fools Event. ;-)

    After I found my 100th Foxbat, I decided to go back to the beginning because Mayor Biselle said, "Each Foxbat that you examine today cannot be examined again until eight days have passed."

    It's been a more than eight days since I examined that first 10 Foxbats and none of the Foxbats that my heroes have examined can be re-examined.

    So, is the Mayor just another lying politician, or is this just another delightful prank brought to you by Foxbat? (i. e. the Devs)

    But seriously, is this a mistake? Does it need to be fixed?

    And again, UN-seriously...

    Also, where is that giant-mega-foxbattlebot battle that no one promised me,
    but that I keep needlessly demanding? :mad: <

    Well that was boring, I was excpeting a special Finale for the last days... like having the real Foxbat on stage!

    It was only 1 Daily, the Foxhunt! the other 2 missions were 1-shot
