After a particularly gruelling adventure, during which she thwarts the efforts of the Thule Society in stealing the Sacred Sapphire of Attorak from the Ngindo tribe, Lady Victoria is given the honour of being initiated into their ancient warrior sisterhood.......

'Tarra Stewart'
(Requires: City Street Defender set (shoes))
So, let's see. Yes, a certain member of a sort of 'Bat-Related-Family' recently got a redesign, and it's absolutely wonderful. From the practical leather jacket to the detachable cape, it's 100% pure fantastic.
Of course, this isn't that costume. We're not allowed to just copy other companies' intellectual properties, because that is Very Naughty. So I haven't done that. I have made a tribute instead. Besides, it's impossible to make a proper bat cowl, and sadly the jacket isn't quite up to scratch since it hugs her form too tightly (reduced the boob slider to make less obvious, and also because I'm of the belief that female heroes don't need to have massive norks all the time). And the collar's not right either, though I suspect one of the Dogz collars might be able to help out there. Dunno.

L'il Stinger is wearing the tiniest bikini the CC has available. Breast size aside, I believe that L'il Stinger has less cloth covering herself than PG does.
That said, our job is to make the costumes for this thread so that others may use them, as is, or to learn from them how to use the many parts to create many different, and sometimes unintended, looks. Even all of those places where clipping becomes a friend to the creator.
I am not someone who frequents Club Caprice, but I seem to remember caps posted (in long forgotten thread) from CC outings that might make bluegrassbeast's addition seem a rather tame one.

This is a lot of why most of mine are restricted to just the base freebies + Viking/Devastator pieces. Plus, it's a fun challenge in it's own right. Whatever day needs it:
Reawakened Automaton
No clue what the default outfit on the PTS looks like but might as well keep ahead of the curve.

Shining Mage - The Grimoire - deal with date later
A simple locket, gifted to Carol Carter, at her Grandmother's death bed. After the funeral Carol opened the locket and was fully transformed into - The Shining Mage.
-
-
I just like the way the colors came together on this one. Needs Shining Knight and Earrings are Diamond Earrings. Other than that there really nothing special here.
Dog-bot - bonus - another robot-animal head thing - date to be decided later
If that same lunatic that's been making the animal head/robot body combo made this one, it seems to be on the side of the heroes. Hopefully, all that drooling won't leak inside the robot parts and cause them to shot out.
-
-
1) Parts needed to use this bot are the symbols on the pauldrons and the chest. Easily removed if needed.
2) The open mouth Wolf head is not free, but the tongue made for a better Dogs head. Feel free to swap it for the free wolf head as needed.
A robot with a Grondling's head. Only marginally smarter than an animal. Definitely NOT one of the good guys. But perhaps it can be used in a controlled situation.
More of the same. Me sticking non-robot heads on robot bodies for fun. It's very glowy because of all the radiation. This one comes with an appropriate cape. Maybe he really thinks he some sort of hero. The Grondling Head comes from the Perk for defeating 5000 Iradiates. Only 1000 for the cape. Also, in the Redeemed Villain costume set.
Maybe some day the Devs will toss a TRUE Mecha-Grond at our heroes.
Was fiddling with this a while back and decided to upload it. She could be a spokesperson for the Purple Line's advertisements or a more overt Mafia-esque opera singer that's an assassin in her own right. Not a freebie since she uses Pilp and Golden Age parts but some of those can probably find serviceable replacements in the free costume pieces.
"Interesting builds are born from limitations not by letting players put everything into one build."
Guys, we're not short on costumes to make up the 365. Can you please pick a spare day and stick to it? There's no need to saturate the thread with a thousand costumes, just make one per week. And try to take a more detailed picture of the costume - the blue costume file itself doesn't do the outfit costume.
Okay, whine over.

Captain Patel
(Requires New Shadows Aristocratic Jacket with Vest unlock, New Shadows Buckled Shoes unlock, Victorian set (neck))
I know I've done costumes like this before, but I was watching Hornblower recently and have this style on my mind. Forgive me, please.
Guys, we're not short on costumes to make up the 365. Can you please pick a spare day and stick to it? There's no need to saturate the thread with a thousand costumes, just make one per week. Okay, whine over.
If we get too many, which would thrill me, we (meaning I) can always start posting the overage as - Bonus Costumes. In the first few weeks of the year, we had several.
On the topic of Hornblower...
Ioan Gruffudd or Gregory Peck?
No offense to Peck, a great actor, but Gruffudd was allowed to really flesh out Hornblower's entire life and growth as a man and an officer. My wife and I really enjoyed that version back in early 2000s.
Hmm... Our local library has the entire series. Might be time to see that series again.

Agreed, man. I always aim for quality over quantity, since I got a whole week to prepare these outfits and usually just end up making them the night before or during saturday lol.
Ok, so after playing around with the Psionic Dragon and Holoforce pieces, I've come up with my latest entry.
Utilizing the parts set to Psionic/Psi Holo I believe they look a bit like she is wreathed in fire... somewhat. I achieved a similar, watery effect with one of my own characters, so I decided to try fire and share.
Heatstroke
Well, it works for me, even if nobody else sees it.
Umm... who's the guy on the left? o.O I get the other two.
Lucky Jack Aubrey AKA Captain Aubrey in Master and Commander played by Russell Crowe in the movie version. His first name is Jack, but it's not as noted as it is in the case of other two Captain Jacks.
I actually posted the pic to see if it inspired one more nautical hero costume. I'd also enjoy it if made someone veer of the sea and create a Star Fleet Admiral's type of costume. { shrug } It's all just meant as a prod if anything at all comes of it.
This costume may be useful if you have one of those boring, OP, toxic cloud-spamming builds that some folks like to use......STINKBUG!
And here's the costume file...
You will need the King Sekhen Set, 90s Foxbat Set, Sci-Fi Soldier Set, Robot Samurai Set, Wired Cyborg Set, Dryad Set and the Cybernetic Implants Heavy Gloves.
Amazing work yet again, people! Oh and Zen, about Stinkbug and The Green Mist:
Also, I thought I would share on a redesign for a forgotten character; Black Lynx.
Previously just a character that was directly inspired by Catwoman, I kept struggling on who this character should look like for many, many months. While looking around for thief-like characters on Comic Vine, I stumbled across DC's Aviva Metula (or Shadow-thief) and began to formulate on how she will designed and after days of trying and re-trying, I became pretty pleased with the results.
[ @Skaargoroth in-game / @summerfields on the Forums ] Current character roaster: The Iconica, Lady Mythica, Black Jackal, Omni-Woman, Fantomask Currently waiting for: Moar comics! And maybe City of Titans, too. Hopefully!
Update: Added an alternate version of Earth Mover. Mainly just gave it a geometric face so it's less human and added glow to break things up but left the original in as well.
Whatever day needs it:
Psionic Sentai (The Disciple)
Inspired by bluman's super sentai entry but with various tweaks. Unless I overlooked one, I've now completed alternate outfits for all of the archetypes with just free (or Viking/Devastator) pieces. In the end, I think the one I was least satisfied with was Sparkling Star Student but I have no clue how to fix it.
"Interesting builds are born from limitations not by letting players put everything into one build."
Sorta like the female version a little more. Let me know if the glows are off but I think I managed to get this concept to work out pretty well. Might even work as a Nemesis concept, actually. Think I've passed the halfway point with these but some have shown a sizable amount of options you have at your disposal with just the default pieces.
(Requires Bird People veteran reward set (shoulders, belt), Alien Gladiator Helmet 2 unlock, Roin'esh set (chest, bracer), 90s Foxbat set (back, torso, legs), Golden Age set (bracer), Psionic Dragon (hips wear)
Yeah, not a cheap one this week. Sorry about that.
I've been meaning to use the Alien Gladiator helmet for a while, and this is the result. I was going for a sort of classical/sci-fi blend, like an ancient Greek civilisation catapulted into an interstellar empire. Turns out the colour scheme is a tiny bit Ultramarine-y too, although I didn't realise that until I'd finished.
Last week I chose a fire character so today I thought I'd cool things down a little.
A leader in the field of cryogenics who decides to use his knowledge to become a crime fighter. He creates a suit that grants him cold-based powers and sets off to apprehend villains in Millennium City.
The downside is that due to the subzero temperatures emitted by the suit, all the seams have fused together and he can no longer take it off.
Ahh, the life of a "super" hero...
Cryofighter
And so another week ends, until next Friday... stay frosty (ugh, that was bad, sorry).
Largely an experiment in some stylization; an image I saw on design pointed out three limb 'configurations' that potentially existed for this sort of thing:
Fred here's a shot at the most left, with smaller than normal hands, feet, forearms, and shins. Making him look more bulky around the rest of him. It's not hugely noticeable thanks to his dumb clothing.
(Requires: Spartan Armor set (helmet, back), Sci-fi Soldier set (chest, boots), Steampunk set (hands), Holoforce set (shoulders, arm accessories), Cyberpunk legs unlock, Pharoah Tech Arm unlock)
A study in colour and texture, and also a sketch for a reawakened automaton concept. Also a different take on fusing classical and sci-fi ideas, like last week.
Essentially, I started off with a chunky robot with a greek helmet, all decked out in shiny metal with gold trim, and that was fine. Then I started adding details in matte blue, and he began to come alive. The challenge then was to get enough blue onto the costume to add form and substance, without it ever becoming dominant. Essentially, the blue had to be noticeable, but always on the periphery so as not to take over.
So I'd recently done fire and ice, and I thought "hmm, what's next?". (this is the part where I have my lightbulb moment) Ah ha, electricity!
And so, with that epiphany out of the way and mouse in hand, I took to the Costume Creator. Add a part here, remove that one, change these three, apply/reverse/tweak colors and eventually the Easy Bake Champion Oven pops out a fresh hero.
I call this one Shockstar.
Shockstar
And that's it for another week. Maybe you like it, maybe you don't... either way I'm goin' to sleep. See ya next Friday.

Person 3: but
Person 3: robut
Person 2: Robutt, "YOu will be ****-imilated!"
later
Bluhman: well i am not proud, but I did it.
Person 2: lol
Shark-bot - with frickin' lazerbeams. - date to be decided later
Looks like another of those robot-animal hybrids, except this one has a head made of steel. Who knows if a shark's brain is running this machine.
This one has two parts that need Sci-fi Soldier. Works fine with out either part, but I was going for a few red parts to give it just a bit of a bloody, Jaws-ish feel. No actual lazers-type objects on this puppy.
Oh, yeah, the backpack... Viper Rocket Pack. It's a drop. Try the AH.
Here a new vigilante girl, something very Nightwing and sidekick inspired : Blue Sparrow, a girl with a dual nightstick and featherangs to fight thugs of Millennium City
