Yeah I have no idea what I want to do with my Brigade. I might just slap some Force on him since it's the set I'm currently playing around with and see how that goes. I probably have like six respecs on him still.

It's not about the respec it's about having no freakin' clue how I want to build him in the first place heh.

He was a Dual Blades Dex/Ego monster but I'm still trying to figure out which direction I wanted to make this iteration of him go after the changes. I think I'm out of respecs on him too.

My point is that you can just throw something together so you can play with us and then clear it out afterwards. All you waste is a respec. And isn't playing with us worth an itty bitty respec?

My Renegade has a Brigade costume I can bring him. Heck, I've got a Brigade costume on Mimic too so there's another option, but I'm pretty sure i'm out of respecs on Brigade.

If you're trying to figure out ideas, I think both RandomChance and I use Force-themed Brigades, which are pretty fun. I use Wind/Ice on Myriad, and that's a pretty fun playstyle as well. I've also had some interesting successes with a Electricity/Heavy Weapons combo character, though I've not respecced her yet, so i don't know for sure how well it'll transition. (I'd expect it to be a bit more fun, actually.) I'm always happy to work with themes if you're having trouble (especially with Brigade, just because there's so much potential, there), so don't be afraid to hit me up in-game even if you just want someone to bounce ideas off of.

Hmm, I guess I should respec mine before the weekend, take advantage of the new changes. No clue what to do tho. He's electricity. I know EGO has to be in there now, but I guess I'll try and figure out the rest. Maybe END/REC?

Dangit. I'm not gonna be able to make it on Saturday everybody. :(

Last night, my laptop basically shouted "I've had enough of being subjugated by humans! Hail Mechanon!" and decided to take a leap off the table, damaging it's case, AC port and who knows what else. <_<

And since it was the only system I have that could play CO, it looks like I'm gonna be forums only until I get it fixed.

My Brigade is using the Squall AT. I don't have to worry about choosing powers and what haves you for him. But I should get him geared up using the new gear, since he still has the old items.

I'm using my Brigade to rediscover fire. I always hated my dps fire guys, they were all too squishy. With the new spec trees and such, and some of my experiences in alerts, I have discovered fire tanking. I'm just mainly fretting my Secondaries. I'm committed to Con (though there won't be enough points to spend in that part of the tree! Too many good choices!) And I was leaning toward REC/DEX but I just realized that my idea that PRE didn't effect taunt anymore was flat out wrong... and I'm digressing.

Anyway, I broke down and got an XP boost from the store so I could get up to where I feel comfortable to start hitting the XP alerts. I should be in the 20s by Saturday. On that note looking at server time, it seems it's just Pacific Standard Time, right?

Finally decided to make my own Brigade. :P Just got him up to lvl8...

Pulling from both Telekinesis and Telepathy for the most part- going for more of a support role with buffs, debuffs, cc, the nightmare and collective will summons, and a heal and bubble here and there... although as is, I'm more offense-based. But once I get to lvl11 I'll nom one of my retcon tokens and rethink things a bit. XD

In the meantime, I'll be keeping an eye out for any Brigades in-game so I can get in the SG proper and join you all in your shenanigans. :D

    Invite sendered.

Considering we're having a double questionite event this weekend, maybe we should do some questionite-bearing stuff too.

That sounds like a plan to me.

Man, this is going to be one big dance party isn't it?

Hey what about the Nemesis alerts. Do you fight everyone's nemeses in one big battle, or is it just one guy?

It's just one guy (plus their minions). I suspect it's based on whomever "clicks in" fastest that decides whose nemesis will pop up. Also, it may be that if you don't have a nemesis yet, it just throws some random one in. (I did a nemesis alert a few nights ago with Cuddles; he was apparently the only one high enough level to have a nemesis, but we sure weren't fighting Snuggles.)

I don't feel my Brigade is gonna be anywhere near developed enough to be of much use in alerts... not to mention only one of my characters has any amount of questionite, and she has a near-perfect alert daily record so far. So gotta stick with that for the weekend. :P

'Course, when my dailies are done with her, I can switch to mah Briggy... meh, we'll see how it turns out. XD

You know how if you do Whiteout before you have a Nemesis, and Cyberlord calls in a random nobody enemy to be his "Partner"

You get one of those if the guy who clicks first doesn't have a Nem.
Not sure how it works in Parties though. It might work off the Team Leader.

Well, that was awesome. For those that didn't make it, there was much dancing, and beating up of poor Mr. Gemini. And also dancing.

I must say that Mr. Gemini is an utter punk. "Steamroller" doesn't cover it.

Highly recommended. Anyone that was hesitant about coming out, don't miss it next time.

"Team Duel" would imply there was any challenge.

I think I hit a grand total of one guy. They were all level 10s posing as 20's (Kinda like most alert players who pose as 30's) and died in 10 seconds.

Then that stupid Rayle-guy who thought we were the stupid ones.

    HA!

Thanks for the fun time guys, I have pictures, may post later.

Are you in the Brigade channel? If not, it's an easy way to see if anyone's on, because we use that channel instead of our SuperGroup channel, so no matter what character you're on, you'll know that some Brigades are on.

It was an absolute blast though, even though my character was bugged and had to stand around doing nothing half the time! But then he bought some guns and he's happy with them. :D

Ah yes, Minefield. Much dancing and then... I dunno we kept kicking this purple guy's butt over and over again. I really don't see the comparison. :D

Brigade made me realize two things: I have been doing fire wrong all this time and that I really want to actually get into PVP.

Not that I think I'm any good, but I felt a spark, even if it was immediately followed by a little guilt realizing after the fact how unbalanced that matchup was.

Also, I'm wondering how many powers use that finger snap animation, because It's kind of fun.

Force Geyser. Force Geyser uses that snap animation. And that's why I love it.

For some reason the finger snap fits the personality that I imagine Brigade to have really well. It's the same for the Fanfare 0-point advantage on heroic flight. It just fits.

I believe so yes. I want to level mine more, but the problem comes with the fact that she is a Primal Aura character and I want to see how much she changes because of the stupid nefs before I do any more with her.

Might have to change her completely. She's 32(?) currently.

Errr... I went just in there to signal that I used a won FF ^^ to make up a Brigade that rocks and rolll ^^.

    But it is homeless now.

I wanted to do one sooner once I got on the Gold side of my account... but HEY! Since it fell on me to get a new slot. So can you/we/they invite that one too? Pretty please?

BTW, I'm organising a lil RP in the 11th if some Brigade feels like joining some curious investigation involving some handicaped anthro hero maybe turning rogue that some Brigade admirer is all worried about, you are welcomed. ^^

Incidentally, has anyone done a bio blurb like was done for Brigade?

Last I saw, I think some folks had basically duplicated Brigade's bio for Myriad, substituting names and pronouns where applicable.

I'd double check on my own Myriad, but thanks to my gaming laptop being kaput, all of my characters have been archived. :(
