Issues with Authentication Servers?

I logged off to change characters and when I attempted to log back in, I get an error "Unable to Authenticate". I have closed the game client and tried multiple times.

Anyone else having issues?

    I just logged in and out,got authentication issues too,what the heck is going on and how do we fix it?

    I am having same issues right in a middle of a quest too you better give us compensation for this PWE
    Guess they wanna kill this game in the end.

    Same here, the game and the launcher were working yesterday, and today I have that "Unable to Authenticate" message.

    Perhaps we need to buy a Key Of Ultimate MMOing to enter the game now? Oh wait, I can't even buy anything from the Z-Store since this bug developed. Oh well.

    Yup same here. If anyone is seeing the little purple Anubis in ren cen one tell him I didnt abandon him.

    Probably when we log back in eventually, all our characters will be at lvl 1 and all gear turned into Rocks.

    they are probably doing some account maintenance i cant transfer zen ingame right now and the q exchange is down as well

    This is my second day playing this game and I can't log in.. is this type of error common? Is there an estimated time for it to be fixed?

    EDIT:Just tried it for the 5th time I think,it let me log in now.

    EDIT 2:It said the server was closed for maintenance at this time,please try again later.Sneak fix maybe?

    Also unable to connect to the game, a little irritating but I has a virtual piano to play with while I wait :D

    EDIT:: Server status is now showing as offline.

    They had maintaince this morning why a sudden maintaince break they better give us compensation for the last moment maintaince out of no where
    Connection is back they added press any key on loading screen WTH

    Same here but i got the loader to authenticate once after submitting a pwe ticket... i think they had to pull an emergency maintanence.

    Same problem here too, although the 60 seconds of "connecting to account server . . . " has changed to "This server is closed for maintenance at this time."

    I left a small qularr rushing around near Defender, I'm sure they'll find comfort in their mutual parent/guardianless..ness. >_>

    Oddly enough I'm still in, and I've got no messages about the server going down for maintenance or anything. So I have no idea what's going on.

    It seems to be normal everything again, i could simply log in.

    I made it past the unsername/pass screen, but now its hung up on patching...at least that's progress I guess :rolleyes:

    I'm locked out. The server is listed as up and running, but I'm being told that it is failing to authenticate my account. Edit: just tried again. Good news, of a sort: there's now a notification that "logins are currently not functioning. We are aware of the issue and investigating." So I still can't get in, but at least I know they're on the case.

    And to the newcomer who asked earlier, I've been playing CO for a while now (I just earned my 1000-day Veteran's Rewards yesterday, and I've had some stretches where I had to go Silver for financial reasons), and this is the first time I've seen this sort of thing happen.

    It now says the following on the launcher:

    "Logins are currently not functioning. We are aware of the issue and investigating"

    My guess is an ISP screw up again. (especially if STO is also affected)

    Add me to the list of this...Switched charcters to help out a friend and couldn't get back to the character select screen after logging in. So I close the game and now its stuck at the authentication screen...

    If anyone knows or sees @Rune, tell him Excellon didn't ditch him :-/

    I see the thread, I figured it out. This had affected me earlier today, but before this thread existed.. I've been in-game fine for some time. weird.. maybe an intermittent problem?

    locked out here too, no way to log in beyond the failed to authenticate message on the launcher. It seems rather weird for this to happen now

    Edit: Why does it say this for my subscription?

    Subscribed For: 0 Day
    Subscription Status: Inactive

    When I have been close to 500 days now and had it already paid?

    Seems to me that the subscription info got lost?

    Because the Cosmic Keys deleted all the accounts....

    Or the Account Server is farget up.
