This MA build has been awesome so far. I retconned a level 16 I had and have been enjoying playing champions again. Love this build. thank you for sharing.
This build requires a retcon at level 8 to get Dragon Kick in as soon as possible.
Slot a piece of + Dodge/Avoidance gear in your primary defense slot.
Use Evasive maneuvers to boost your dodge chance and Thunderbolt Lunge to get right back into melee.
Use Inexorable Tides and Dragon Kick to keep groups of foes controlled (and to get the Rush advantage from Dragons Kick) to reduce their damage output.
Burning Chi Fist for single target burst damage.
Remember to use Bountiful Chi Resurgence w/Resurgent Reikki whenever necessary (dont use when no t needed since this will reduce your damage output).
The Flippin' advantage on swinging comes into play when the TP is toggled on, you dont actually have to be in the air.
Overall this build will have tons of health, good energy management through Focus stacking and Rush, great control, and decent damage. On top of this your dodge stacking plus fast activating self heals will make you tough as nails.
I've just signed into the game for the first time since beta. I had a level 18 dual swords character named Chop Suey, and I'd like to retcon him as a competent dual swords solo leveler. Can anyone help me with a build?

This isn't a "level from level 1" build. It's a "you're level 18, retcon into it and go from there". Just FYI.
Superstats:
Level 5: Super Dexterity
Level 13: Super Intelligence
Powers:
Level 1: Rain Of Steel
Level 1: Inexorable Tides
Level 5: Form Of The Unleashed Tempest
Level 5: Acrobatics -- Rank 2, Rank 3, Versatility
Level 8: Dragon's Wrath -- Rank 2, Tiger's Courage
Level 11: Quarry -- Rank 2, Rank 3
Level 14: Bountiful Chi Resurgence -- Rank 2, Resurgent Reiki
Level 17: Void Shift -- Nailed to the Ground (could also take Thunderbolt Lunge, but this looks cooler)
Level 20: Eye of the Storm -- Blade Beyond the Veil
Level 23: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 26: Conviction
Level 29: Sword Cyclone -- Rank 2, Rank 3
Level 32: Parry -- Elusive Monk
Level 35: Masterful Dodge
Level 35: Teleport
Level 38: Evasive Maneuvers -- Rank 2, Sleight of Mind
You'll want to run this in Brawler role, and get a dodge-boosting primary. Gear for Dex in slots where you can get it, and an Int/Ego combination in your utility and secondary slots.
You don't get the good Dual Blade AoEs til later on, but you've got astounding single-target damage and enough soft control with your lunge and Inexorable Tides to let you clear groups quickly anyway.
If you want, you could swap the positions of Sword Cyclone and Eye of the Storm. EotS is more defensive, SC is more offensive. SC clears packs of trash faster, while EotS is great for hunkering down in defense mode against a pack that might be too large for BCR's heal to keep up with.
While BCR and Quarry's dodge keeps you in one piece. Parry combines with Quarry's dodge buff and (eventually Evasive Maneuvers) to be quite survivable.
Dex/Int with MSA, the Focus buff and DW proccing Rush means you aren't likely to run out of energy if you're attacking, and Conviction is a nice spot heal that also procs MSA, and can be used as an out-of-combat energy builder. And MSA will also proc off of your lunge. You won't run out of energy with this, even when spamming Sword Cyclone.
Evasive Maneuvers should be used before starting fights for the dodge buff. You can also, with the advantage, use it during fights to wipe aggro, but don't do that unless you're in a team. If you're solo and clear your aggro, the enemy resets. That's why it's last on the list.
I went with Acrobatics and Teleport, as they're a great combo for melee that ensures mobility.
Hey, guys, I just got my Gold Membership yesterday and I was playing around with the Freeform... And I had a good guy... Then my dreams of making him better fu**ed him up. So I just want to know if any of you please create a build that is offensive but is supportive at the same time... Thanks!
Here's a Heavy Weapons build I've been toying around with. There may be some room for further tweaks but over all I've had some solid results with it.
Concept:
This build is about primal force tapping into the different elements to inflict continuous damage against their foes. This takes the shape of elemental themed pets along with the elemental Heavy Weapons powers.
Characteristics:
Intelligence
Strength
Talents
Discipline Training
Covert Ops Training
Body and Mind
Command training
Investigator
Diplomatic
Play Notes:
This build uses Aura of Primal Mastery over a full defensive passive and lacks some of the damage mitigation of other Heavy Weapons builds. This is compensated to some extent by using Defensive Combo early on and Inertial Dampening Field at higher levels. Additionally, the Shadows provide a almost continuous healing stream while they are out.
Going into a fight send in the pets to draw agro then follow up with some big hits. A tap of force eruption helps build quick levels of Aggressor for added damage or if things get rough can provide some breathing room to re-summon your pets, namely shadows for healing. Toxic Nanites provide additional damage and a snare for keeping targets in place if you don't want them going to far with any knock powers.
The build has powers from each of the listed elements, which was important for me and picks up the Toxic damage as it fits with the Supernatural theme (even if the power comes from Gageteering.) Overall I'm happy with this build, although I do feel like it's a bit of a cop out using Internal Dampening Field even if it's fitting with the concept.
Training Room results: (Five Man, Hard, New Purple Gang)
Without using Toxic Nanites this build was able to take on a 5 Man Hard span in the Training room with almost no problem. In instances where I saw health getting low I'd use Force Eruption and re-summon the Shadows even if already present and simply block. The health gain was enough to off set the damage that got past the Internal Dampening Field until I could go into another volley of attacks. The Arctic Beast helps to keep the spawns manageable and closer together with the various knock effects. At some point I'll add in the Macro to proc for Toxic Nanites with each non-energy building attack.
Im still fairly new to the game but i have tried most of the power sets out. I'm wondering if theres a way i can combine my 2 favorite classes. (Might,Darkness). It would be awsome if it could tank. I only PvE at the time being. I do alot of soloing. pretty much i'm looking for someone to help me build a nice Might/Darkness class if its possible. This is what I came up with.
I would like a melee energy builder because i feel its important im on the frontlines of the fight. Im still new to the game so i dont fully understand what skills would be more useful and how useful certain advantages are. Please recommend any changes you think would be best. And remember im going for a Might/Darkness type. And I don't intend on PvP.

Thanks very much The build the character had had since headstart wasn't too different from that, but I retconned, and your build has been working really well.
I haven't found any items that directly increase dodge. Where do I get them?

I think you can craft them in the late 20s/early 30s, and there's a mission reward in Canada (a level 27 mission) that gives it too.
Hello everyone! I'm still new to this game but I'm loving it a lot.
I've been thinking about a Tech Ranged (Iron Manish)/Savage freeform build but I have no idea how to go about starting that. Is there anyone here who could help?
best results if you retcon at lvl 14 or later to get 'Lightning Storm' which will be your mass murder power of choice, then later 'Gigabolt' for hard hitting the single targets.
Run in 'Avenger' role, Gear for END/REC/CON/Pre
loads of energy for loong storms. guaranteed to raise a big smile.
I got the Championbuilder installed now n im wondering how i can view these builds using it? (im lost by the time u say 'Avenger Role' LOL
I click the download link n it takes me somewhere else, i download it as a PHP using right click save as n move it to the builds folder in the builder and i cant open it using it...
Bit new to Champions Online, so forgive me if I may sound silly for asking this.
I'm trying out freeform, and I'd like to do some kind of Pulse combo with another build, I'd like to use ether Ego or guns but I'm unsure what I'll end up with.
any ideas whats best?
A few things are interchangeable. Inertial Dampening and Howl can be replaced for powers with no more adv points left. Could replace Force Cascade for another aoe range tap/charge like Ebon Ruin or Defile. Could also replace Telepathic Reverberation for Molecular Self Assembly.
Basically I just run in with either Void Shift or Ego Sleep depending on the situation. Howl usually comes next and if I know it's a tough fight I'll hit Shadow Shroud after hitting the group of enemies with fear. The adv from Shadow Shroud takes advantage of Fear further interrupting attacks. Then Ego Storm and Lifedrain away..or if you got them all lined up and they are immobile just charge a well placed Force Cascade.
Just for fun I made this build today on an older toon I haven't played in a while. I dunno if it's possible to level with this, but at 40 It's a lot of fun to play.
Just charge in with Decimate and hit Arc of Ruin right away and just tap Annihilate. Using Annihilate I'm tapping for 1200's and tap crits for around 2400. Full charge crit's for around 6k. Not bad considering I haven't logged this toon in months and his gear is above average at best. So many ways to get out of trouble with this build if things get hectic.

I'd still love some help with creating a Power Armor/Beast build if someone could help. I understand from what I've read that Power Armor is had to pair with but the design I have in my head would be kind of neat to combine these two. Any at all help would be appreciated, thank you.
For those that don't know, there are various builds organized in the link in my signature. I only post builds with permission and haven't gone through this thread in a while looking for ones I missed.
So check my sig out for some builds from various players and if you or someone you know has a build I don't have in the directory point it out to me so I can make it a bit easier (IMO) to find.

Power Armor attacks are toggles that, when activated, prevent the use of non-power-armor attacks.
If you just want the Power Armor vibe for your character, you can make something in the costume creator with the plethora of tech/mech pieces available, and use Bestial attacks along with whatever else suits you.
I have a number of characters who are operating suits of high tech armored weaponry and use few or no power armor attacks. Certain costume pieces jibe really well with the ability to choose a power's emanation point. Fireballs out of the Quad Blasters. Gigabolts out of the Large Blaster chest piece.

Hopefully I can get some advice. Just started CO, f2p, and liked the game and went gold. Been reading up and theorycrafting the toon I want to have. I don't know what all is good or what endgame is like, but I think this build is pretty solid build.
I want an all arounder. I will mostly play solo or duo. Sometimes full groups. I want to do some decent DPS, but be able to do some group healing, as well as heal myself when soloing. I like the idea of force fields to help mitigate incoming damage. I figure I'll be half wrong on my build, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Do note this is my planned final build. Leveling up will have very similar skill progression, just a few couple level roll backs to make the level up easier. (level 30+ it gets expensive to start rolling back??)
Well, to the post above: I'm not too good when it comes to builds, or atleast not yet, but I can tell you that you avoided a newbie mistake of not getting Lightning Arc, so props for that.
And to everyone else, I'm looking for a thematic build that is kind if a martial artist that is also kind of demonic. I want him to be either MA and dark, MA and fire, or even maybe both. Thanks guys, I look forward to seeing what you guys bring to the table!

If you want to take 2 passives i would suggest to go with Invuln instead of Personal Forcefield since PFF
is really the worst of all defensive passives.
If you take Force Shield you should also take the advantage Force Sheath, because that is what makes
Forceshield really shine
For leveling i would also take Forceshield maybe directly after Lighning Storm.
For healing i mostly prefer Bionic Shield and Conviction .. can't say much about the skills you took instead.
Im struggling with this guide.. i cant seem to pump out alot of damage... tend to die from waves too..
do you have another revised version or something?
im level 23.. and my leveling slowed down ALOT around lvl 16..
i usually start off with evasive then, torrent, which gets me a few quarries.. and i start picking them off one by one.. or if they are in a group il explosive them..
but i find that quite slow.. cuz i just dont seem to get enough energy.. i have equilibirum of about 46 at lvl 23.
by the time i finish using the alpha strike i dont have enough energy to do anything else..
i should also note.. because i am not in US my ping is not fantastic.. so toggling back and forth with energy builder can be tough at times and not register..
I really like this build but I'm having a hard time justifying Inexorable Tides. Can you explain the advantage of this ability vs something else? I understand it may go with the theme of this build but I think something could be a little more useful. Any thoughts ? or suggestions for an alternative?
Thanks!
EDIT: I actually took dragon kick w/ the dodge advantage in place of evasive maneuvers - this seems to work well right after using inexorable tides, quick knock up with a brief stun + dodge buff and rush

My primary reason for including inexorable tides in such a build is the interupt on tap effect. Its an almost instantaneous means of disabling your foes momentarily.
Your edit is a nice option. By alternating knock and stun you can keep foes controlled almost indefinately (not that you need more than a very few seconds).
If you are interested, the defensive bonuses for Evasive Maneuvers are not affected by diminishing returns on dodge, which is why that power is so very popular for builds such as this.
Yeah so I'm new to CO, and just bought Gold for a month last night, and have been trying to TheoryCraft a freeform character. Unfortunately, I'm just not familiar enough with all of the effects and systems in CO already, then now I'm getting all this new material and options and I just don't know what to make of it. I've spent hours looking at guides and builds and either trying to find my dream build or learn enough to design it from the ground up myself. So, I'm asking for help, on mah knees as a noob ;P So heres the basic rundown...
I'm level 31, and just went gold from being a grimoire. So I can deal with leveling not being lightspeed, all it has to beat is a full heal/support Grimoire ;P I'm used to being able to take a bit of damage, and heal, and not haveing energy problems.
I RP a lot, I've even started my own RPing SG even though I've just started playing. So it's gotta be kind of thematic. My guy is a streetsmart assassin/bounty hunter/thief etc. kind of character. A gun for hire. He's got the trenchcoat, and the mysterious mask and all that. I'm not super picky, but I guess here's a list of things I'd like to have.
Like: Swords, Guns, Magic, Flashy Moves, UNSquishiness, and a bit of support maybe?
When i say magic I mean like Circles Of Power (for energy?) and Healing, not Eldritch Bolts ;P Support Magic I guess.
I had a few ideas for what to use, but I don't know which i can keep and how to put it all together. Drones, Bionic Healing, Invulnerability, Lead Tempest, Two-Gun Mojo (Or another maintain long range), Cleave,( A maintain Close AOE?), Breakaway Shot. Maybe Gatling gun?
I don't know if all or any of those could fit well with the others but hey, that's why I'm here. I plan to be on my character maybe 9 hours from now? And I can stall, setting up my hideout and costumes and stuff for probably an hour or a bit more, and then I will HAVE to make my build. So if at all possible, please a bit of help before then ;P I realize this isn't Build-A-Bear and it may be noobish of me to put my dilemma like this, but if you can give me and suggestions or even god willing give me a build i can use or at least base mine off of then you have my thanks, and my sword ^^
Cheers Mates, and Good Luck if you plan to tackle my problem.
Just a quick tip, this thread is more a collection of existing builds rather than a place to request new ones. If you open a new thread about your character I'm certain you will find many people who are eager to help.

The poster above me is correct, this isn't the right thread to ask. However, there's no harm done and here is my take on your street-smart gun/sword/magic wielding not-even-a-little-bit-squishy.
First off, you'll notice that Bionic Shielding, and your mage powers are all at the end of the build. Something to look forward to I guess, but mainly it's because trying to put magic stuff in any earlier screwed up everything else. With Invulnerability and R3 Support Drones you can definitely live without Bionic Shielding for a level. Circle of Ebon Wrath and Eldritch Shield are for flavor.
How you play it:
Open up on a hard target with Assault Rifle (it's far superior to Two-Gun Mojo, although you could swap it for 2G-Mojo if you want to) or on a crowd with Lead Tempest to build some stacks of Tempest and run down your energy a bit. Do a Thunderbolt Lunge at a target, then stab them with a fully charged Dragon's Bite to trigger the Rush buff from Form of the Tempest. Now do a Breakaway Shot to get back out of melee range. If anything is still alive (very doubtful) finish them off with Assault Rifle.
Plays in Guardian mode. Dex/Ego because Muni isn't the greatest damage, so with a defensive passive you are really relying on crits for decent damage output.
Did I mention this build is durable? It is. You shouldn't die unless you start making huge mistakes. R3 Lead Tempest and R3 Invul alone can clear the 5-man hard powerhouse spawn.
This is a theme build, I tried to put in as many of the powers you asked for as possible, while still trying to create synergy and a combat flow that won't suck (Cleave and Gatling Gun don't fit with the way this build will handle, it's a highly mobile acrobatic build that is meant to move in and out of melee. Cleave is slow and clunky, and Gat roots you in place and directly overlaps with Lead Tempest for crowd clearing).
On a team, against a boss, you might want to stand in your Ebon Circle and just fire the Assault Rifle. The rest of the time you should be mobile. Lunge and Dragon's Bite whenever Breakaway Shot is off cooldown.
@Ace_Cool: Yeah I kinda realized after the fact that I should have probly looked for a whole nother thread to post this on, but I guess impatience got the better of me. But I appreciate the reminder and will pay closer attention in the future ^^
@Tom Quantum: Thanks a bunch mate. This build looks pretty spic-and-span, and I'll have no problems playing it I think, compared to some others I've seen. I think I'll toy with it a little bit, set up my character then go to the battle station and tweak it and whatnot (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). Also, I am extremely grateful that you conscious of the fact I'm not used to playing and put a how to play it guide.
@Anyone Else: I'm still open for ideas. Like how he mentione I could replace Assault Rifle with TGM if I really wanted. Thankies ^^
Any reason why I see dragon's bite more often now?
Well if you're going to PvP (and I wouldn't recommend it with the build I posted, it was a theme build designed to please the guy who asked for a build that incorporated a bunch of powers across 4 power sets) Dragons Wrath is utterly superior to Dragon's Bite.
However, if you're just grabbing a Dragon attack to trigger the Rush buff in PvE, the difference between Bite and Wrath is fairly slight.
I thought using a single blade fit the image of a gun-toting swordsman magician much better than two blades.
Hi,
I'm kinda new to the freeform building (been using some of the builds previously posted here though) but now I was trying to make my own build - could You guys give me a reference what you think 'bout it? Thanks in advance, here it goes:
Powers: Level 1:Bestial Fury -- Rip And Tear! Level 1:Frenzy -- Rank 2, Fear Sense Level 6:Supernatural Power Level 6:Acrobatics Level 8:Mighty Leap -- Nailed to the Ground Level 11:Form of the Tempest -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 14:Way of the Warrior -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 17:Bionic Shielding -- Rank 2 Level 20:Howl -- Make Them Tremble, Rank 2 Level 23:Lock N Load -- Two Smoking Barrels, Rank 2 Level 26:Massacre -- Bloody Mess, Rank 2 Level 29:Command Animals -- Rank 2 Level 32:Retaliation Level 35:Bite -- Furor Venenum Level 35:Teleport -- Rank 2 Level 38:Rebirth -- Rank 2
Form of the tempest - many crits= focus bonus
Way of the warrior - slashing and bleeding damage increase
Lock and load - more crits
Howl - enrage and fear for Frenzy's 'fear sense'
Massacre - for damage spikes
Retalliation - to make sure the upper will be really spikey
Bite - to make sure I get at least one leed for those two
Rebirth - just for fun
Thanks for criticism - I need to get reallistic ^^
FIrst off, just wanted to thank those that started and contributed to this thread. I'm new to being Gold and this has been really helpful.
With that said, what do you think about this particular build that I want to make after the next patch (when force knockback scales with presence)? Slow leveler, but good energy management with Energy Shield + Ego Storm/Reverb. Force snap + containment for CC, damage resistance, and 2 heals for late-game support. Use excess energy on FC.
Thoughts? and yes, it's based on the best supervillian ever

correct, it's an early-on retcon after the tutorial to drop the power.
for what it's worth, Ive re-done chilly willy the Ice sculptor... the build evolved from playing, and constant tweaking. I've posted the more defensive version below.
Gear for END/CON/REC/Int. run in Protector mode. Snowstorm will be your primary killing attack. Using frost breath, then ice blast 'em to all heck also works very effectively.
almost a tank, but not quite as I didnt add any threat advantages.... you could if that's your goal.
compare, and use the one that fits your style. both builds are good.
The first Chilly Willy version is more offensive, the second one below is a lot more defensive.... choose for your playstyle. Click here for the Offensive version.
I'm having some problems with energy management in the earlier 20's with the offensive version of this build. By the time your frost breath has caged enough people and you go to activate shatter you have no energy and you're sitting there eating damage trying to get enough energy with energy builder to shoot out 1 shatter, then re-energy build shoot out another shatter even with the energy boost off shatter procing. Just seems like an uphill battle. Would going super int instead of super end help this? it seems like theres a decent amount of maintains and taps. Or is that just totally stupid and I dont know what I'm talking about?
edit: I'm also curious if there's a better or equivalent option to healing bots as they dont thematically go well with an ice char imo. I tried bionic shielding but it seemed a bit weak. Suggestions?
With the changes to Telekinetic here are two builds that incorporate the changes.
The first is a Psychic Warrior focused on Ego Weapons. This build relies on Ego Weaponry for survivability and Ego Blade Frenzy for managing groups. Unlike most melee builds the Psychic Warrior does not need to have everyone grouped together. If they are caught with enemies spread apart they are able to rely on Ego Weaponry to keep their health up and Ego Blade Dash to navigate between targets. The other side to that is because the Psychic Warrior's healing is driven by actively attacking they have difficulty pulling large groups and backing out.
The second is the Blended Path or Psychic Healer this build uses the critical driven healing mechanic of Ego Weaponry with Bountiful Chi Resurgence to heal themselves and provide additional healing to allies. This ability comes from Form of The Tempest's Gifts of the Storm which doles out 20% of any healing you receive. To accomplish this the build gives up Ego Blade Frenzy to focus to pick up Bountiful Chi Resurgence and adds Lightning Reflexes over Id Mastery. This character is focused on single targets but in the Protector is able to draw additional aggro, the damage being offset by the constant stream of healing.
Both builds use Dexterity and Ego along with the same Talents. My general recommendation is to gear for Intelligence or Recovery in addition to their primary stats.

Suggestions?
try the defensive version..that's which one I leveled to 40 ( I wasnt too thrilled with the offensive version in retrospect ... I may re-adrress it and rebuild in the future, but as it stands now, the defensive build is much much better, and proven playable through 40).
Frost breath isnt for maintains... use it for a 'tap' chill... with the advantage its will always proc. Ice shield as well...jsut pop it to keep the chills active. ( that is all I use frost breath for )
use avalance or snowstorm for the maintains....and the others to take advantage of the chills you are throwing out.
as for drones, use whatever you like... I jsut like Drones for the drop and forget aspect... I actually keep it as my last power, and I switch between bionic and drones depending on my mood.
This is more or less for Certified. Are either of those builds what you'd call a leveling build? If not, I can tweak the first one enough, its not that hard to manage from what I'm seeing. I've been trying a TK Blade build and so far like it but it's got almost no survivability the way I have it. Huge damage spikes at low level though, it's pretty crazy.
Basically, all I really ended up doing early on is take EBF after dropping EBW after the Tutorial with the intent to take EBW later for the Heal.
Perhaps not the best choice for durability reasons, I'm thinking.
Ideas anyone?

You hit it right on the head. Get your Ego Weaponary back, grab Siphoning Strikes (Get it at lv 8, before anything else!), don't look back.

Look for Support Drones, in the Gadgeteering Powerset. http://champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Support_Drones
And yeah, Form of the Unleashed Tempest got renamed to Form of the Tempest, if I recall correctly.
okay, thank you so much.
oh ya, and shotgun i don't think have challenging strikes?
This isn't a "level from level 1" build. It's a "you're level 18, retcon into it and go from there". Just FYI.

Concept:
This build is about primal force tapping into the different elements to inflict continuous damage against their foes. This takes the shape of elemental themed pets along with the elemental Heavy Weapons powers.
Characteristics:
Intelligence
Strength
Talents
Discipline Training
Covert Ops Training
Body and Mind
Command training
Investigator
Diplomatic
Passive
Aura of Primal Mastery - Level 3
Powers
1. Bludgeon
1. Cleave - Defensive Stance
6. Brute Strike
8. Aura of Primal Mastery- Level 3
11. Aggressor - Rank 2
14. Guard
17. Vicious Decent - Relentless, Rank 2
20. Force Eruption
23. Earth Splitter - Bend The Earth, Rank 2
26. Toxic Nanites - Nerve Damage
29. Summon Shadows - Devouring Darkness, Rank 2
32. Ball Lightning - Triplicity
35. Inertial Dampening Field - Rank 3
38. Arctic Beast - Rank 3

The mission is http://champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Krim_Crown_Coda and the item is "Cloak of the Infinite Planes".
You could also try searching the AH for "Nanites", "Exoskeleton" or "Rune" Primary Defense items.
I've been thinking about a Tech Ranged (Iron Manish)/Savage freeform build but I have no idea how to go about starting that. Is there anyone here who could help?
I got the Championbuilder installed now n im wondering how i can view these builds using it? (im lost by the time u say 'Avenger Role' LOL
I click the download link n it takes me somewhere else, i download it as a PHP using right click save as n move it to the builds folder in the builder and i cant open it using it...
Any help for a complete n00b?
I'm trying out freeform, and I'd like to do some kind of Pulse combo with another build, I'd like to use ether Ego or guns but I'm unsure what I'll end up with.
any ideas whats best?
I was just wondering if someone could put together an insane dps/dueling/killing build for me?
I like melee but whenever i duel people they just fly around and farcast me, and my computer isnt the best so i lag in the middle of the main city.
So yeah, could someone suggest to me a few insane builds
Thanks.

So check my sig out for some builds from various players and if you or someone you know has a build I don't have in the directory point it out to me so I can make it a bit easier (IMO) to find.
Please feel free to include any of my builds you feel are up to snuff.
Added the ones I found searching this thread, let me know if there are others.
There may be a few other builds floating around. I'll probably post an updated Psychic Warrior once they do a pass of the set.
Gigabolts out of the Large Blaster chest piece.
by the way can i change lvl38 skill to IDF? and do i need to wear str equidment?
I want an all arounder. I will mostly play solo or duo. Sometimes full groups. I want to do some decent DPS, but be able to do some group healing, as well as heal myself when soloing. I like the idea of force fields to help mitigate incoming damage. I figure I'll be half wrong on my build, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Do note this is my planned final build. Leveling up will have very similar skill progression, just a few couple level roll backs to make the level up easier. (level 30+ it gets expensive to start rolling back??)

Thanks for any advice!
I would delete post if I knew how... sorry for taking up a space.

Thankies ^^
it would be good to have something else like dual guns or mystic stuff
but i really don't have any idea on how to build this stuff
I have been stuck in PH for like 4hours now xD
Someone plz SAVE ME!!!
Drop idea of single blade. Try dual blade. Its easier to do
Well... ok I have been stiked to single blade for 122 hours so it was hard to let it go xD
I was still fiddling around with this character right now xD
So with Dual Blades what is better?
Well if you're going to PvP (and I wouldn't recommend it with the build I posted, it was a theme build designed to please the guy who asked for a build that incorporated a bunch of powers across 4 power sets) Dragons Wrath is utterly superior to Dragon's Bite.
However, if you're just grabbing a Dragon attack to trigger the Rush buff in PvE, the difference between Bite and Wrath is fairly slight.
I thought using a single blade fit the image of a gun-toting swordsman magician much better than two blades.
I'm kinda new to the freeform building (been using some of the builds previously posted here though) but now I was trying to make my own build - could You guys give me a reference what you think 'bout it? Thanks in advance, here it goes:

FIrst off, just wanted to thank those that started and contributed to this thread. I'm new to being Gold and this has been really helpful.
With that said, what do you think about this particular build that I want to make after the next patch (when force knockback scales with presence)? Slow leveler, but good energy management with Energy Shield + Ego Storm/Reverb. Force snap + containment for CC, damage resistance, and 2 heals for late-game support. Use excess energy on FC.
Thoughts? and yes, it's based on the best supervillian ever

My general recommendation is to gear for Intelligence or Recovery in addition to their primary stats.

try the defensive version..that's which one I leveled to 40 ( I wasnt too thrilled with the offensive version in retrospect ...
I actually keep it as my last power, and I switch between bionic and drones depending on my mood.
.
