Wildcards! Where you can relate our leadership to Chowder! :o

Dao is our Mung Daal: he is a leader and a chef, creating a super group masterpiece of warm gooey fun.
Howler is our Shnitzel: being made of rocky bits and he talks alot but all we ever hear is "Radda, radda, radda."
Kaza is our Chowder: tending to be impulsive, eating things nearby and able to regurgitate information on demand.

    PS -
    jonathonhawke is our Gazpacho
    and
    Tanuki is our Kimchi

I have no idea who or what a Kimchi is, and yet I'm totally Ok with that, it sounds kinda cute.

I'm not a part of the leadership mind though, I'm a part of the Glorious Revolution striving tirelessly to overthrow our corrupt leadership and replace me as God-Empress, plus build me a giant Space fortress on the moon.

It's an absolutely disgusting Korean side dish. I think I've had maybe one variety that didn't make me want to violently spit it out in my many years of eating various Asian foods: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimchi.

Cute, huh? He basically called you spiced pickled cabbage.

I don't know why he even referred to jonathanhawke. That dude isn't even on my radar.

FYI - I had to google that, Kaza. Do your kids make you watch that show, or is it all you? :p

EDIT: Fixed numbers as Sleep deprivation and Dyscalculia (which apparently isn't a word, damn Firefox discriminating against me!) make for fun combos

EDIT 2: Steamforge is actually even older than you, he's a decrepit #3514

I'm as "OG" Champions as it gets, both RL and Virtual.

In real life, I played Champions the Pen & Paper RPG back when it was a tiny little 32 page paperback that fit in a school folder perhaps a bit to conveniently. Long before things like "Active point cost" and "Real point cost" or "game balance" were even considered an important part of the game.

Virtually speaking, I was invited into the Champions Online Beta last year on Sept. 11th, so.. yeah, I've been in-game for like a year now. There are a few who were in a week before me, but not many of them remain in-game now.

Yup! 'OG" is Old Gamer :)

I also played the pen and paper. I actually started in 1983. I still have the thin, champions I, Champions II and Champions III books with the pictures of Gargoyle eating the reporter's microphone etc. Hehe good 'ole cheesy stuff. :)

I have the Deathstroke (champions adventure II with Arrowhead in it and I heard he made it into the game somewhere), and Great Supervillain Contest (i.e. Fight Club) champions adventure III for 1982 or '83ish. I never did find "champions adventure #1"

How do you see those numbers? I wanna see what everyone's sign-up number is, so I can redesign the 'Cards rank structure based around your sign-up date. I think it's critical that our superiority as "early joiners" be acknowledged over these useless Johnny-come-lately's.

Forgive me if my search-fu is weak, but is your group name at all an homage to the Wild Cards superhero anthologies? I'm a bit behind on the books, but I used to play that world with GURPS supers rules way back in the day. Always interested in finding fans.

You can see the numbers by hovering the mouse over their names and check at the bottom of your browser, where it shows the link. Which means I'm 261,017 and you're 4,608. Ouch.

Thank god they completely removed the bar brawls prior to launch. At one point they made all the nipples disappear (they came back), and before I had quit they were slowly going through and covering up all the NPCs.

AoC managed to take everything AoC did right, and totally screw it up.

Yes, I was one of the first one thousand to sign up here. I have no idea how many of that thousand are even still active here, it can't be very many of us left.

As user #980, do I get a more prestigious place in our line up now? ;):D

Oh, and the first hundred spots were actually reserved for the Devs, and community relations folks, confirmed by a Dev back in Alpha. Not only not archived, but lost in a forum purge when Alpha became Beta, but if you mouse hover over the older Devs, you'll see its true. I have no idea if the new Devs and community relations folks and GMs got any of those hundred or not, but I suspect not.

Notice my good friend Diamonds here is number one. One!

You guys (and gals possibly) sound like my type of insane super heroes, only problem being I don't have Vent. Is vent required to join or just helpful? I also have some pretty weird play hours thanks to being on 2nd shift.

Its certainly not required (I don't even have it installed on this laptop  ), but certainly is very helpful, for both coordination during guild stuff (pvp, group instances*, etc) and for socialising, apparently they all talk about me behind my back on vent! :p

The whole weird hours shouldn't be too big an issue, we have lots of members who are either from funny parts of the world, or who are weird for instance I'm an AI construct and so don't sleep *ever* and Dao (Norwegian for toilet apparently) Has little need either as his regular diet of the tears of the innocent sustains him nearly indefinitely

*we did dr destroyers factory last night and it was rather comical to see us attempt to coordinate our efforts to operate heavy industrial machinery without vent

Pssh, late night is still happenin' in here. However, a bunch of us night owls tend to use vent, and our PVP groups use it religiously. Not necessary, but defnitely helpful. And don't be afraid to talk if you are a female player. From what i've seen, we have a few females lurking about (and talk as well). If you are a guy, playing a female toon for sympathy and don't want to reveal your secret.... well too bad you dirty pervert.
