Now that is a very likely possibility, considering what SG the server belongs to. :)

PS I can't spell that thingy either :)

Too much awesomeness in one location is never a good thing. The server was intentionally brought down by a diligent admin so as to prevent a quantum singularity that would have blinked the world right out of existence.

website is slowly being restored, there may be a few hiccups like lost members and lost posts but get in contact with in game leadership and we will get it straightened out.

The application form also got hosed and we are working on getting it back up as well.

Just don't try to get in touch with me, because apparently one of those "hiccups" with lost membership included mine.

I'm sure it wasn't intentional at all.

Why people always got to be plotting against The Awesomely Righteous Dao? Is it because The Awesomely Righteous Dao always refers to himself in the third person, and insists everyone call him The Awesomely Righteous Dao?

Yes, you gotta say the whole thing. Yes, even the The part. No, you may not abbreviate it. The Awesomely Righteous Dao doesn't swing that way.

    Buncha haters.

Pssh, late night is still happenin' in here. However, a bunch of us night owls tend to use vent, and our PVP groups use it religiously. Not necessary, but defnitely helpful. And don't be afraid to talk if you are a female player. From what i've seen, we have a few females lurking about (and talk as well). If you are a guy, playing a female toon for sympathy and don't want to reveal your secret.... well too bad you dirty pervert.

Haha, I haven't done that since my Evercrack days- my male characters never got free ****! :D These days I don't use Vent mainly because I have a terrible mouth-brain filture failure and typing things out means I can abort them. I'll look into getting Vent again though, sometimes the random stuttering silliness that pours out of me can actually be entertaining.

I'll look for some Wild Cards when I get onto Champions tonight.

    Thanks!

In the mean time if someone in the SG happens to see this and sees me online, give me a shout, this sounds like it might be the place for me and a friend of mine.

Can't get on CO ATM for some stupid reason, horrible lag and alot of rubberbanding or w/e.

I purchased CO through steam thus have TF2, L4D and most of the Value games if not all, got WoW free with a Gcard i bought a few months back so i play that too every now and again.

SO LEMME IN MAN ITS COLD OUT ERE.

Hey your SG sounds really appealing what part of the world are the majority of members from? I don't know if time zones will mess up experiencing a lot of the content in this game if I played with people from far away.

    I'm British btw.

We have members from all over the globe. I believe we already have a Brit or two. I am not sure what our Brit quota is, however. We may be nearing capacity so you should hurry.

Speaking of worldly members, there was a conversation revolving around limiting the number of Canadians just for general purpose. There was an argument related to the consumption of Molson vs. Budweiser. Sadly for our Canadian lackeys, I was able to display the Canucks do indeed drink more Bud than Molson.

Upon further reflection, it must have been this very conversation that caused the boards to implode. I believe there was a feedback loop created at some distant internet hop in an igloo somewhere to the north of me.

We have one Brit, I believe. Our quota is met, and our capacity is 3. However, we prefer female Brits to male Brits, so you'd either better be a girl, or have a high-pitched voice.

We are dangerously close to our Swede capacity, and this is cutting into our Belgian capacity. We're going to make more room for both by removing some of our freeloading Canadians later today.

We have FAR surpassed our Texan limit, which I had generously set at "zero" when the guild launched. We are looking into how we ended up with so many; I suspect they snuck across the border to join, or bought fake ID's claiming they were from Arizona.

I would like to hand it to you (ladies and) gentlemen - You've made a 21 year-old feel not only young, but sober. I'm actually impressed by your vivacity considering your advanced ages. Do you accept people who only have emerging beer guts and do not yet posses a fully fledged paunch?

Moreover, do we generally prefer lager, bitter or stout? Perhaps the answer to this question will determine if I'd truly fit in here.

On the other side of the coin, just to see if you think I'm uncool enough to join, here's me. I R N00B at this game, pretty much. Just about got a grasp of the power framework, stats and advantages between blowing things up, doing my best to abuse the character creator and emptying my fridge of snacks and beer. My main is level 17, and I often die when left alone. . . Therefore Me = sad without an SG.
Also, I am actually kinda sad. When I'm not on my desktop I'm at the pub drinking with the same ten friends I fell in with at age 12, drinking at the same pub, drinking the same damn beer. At least I quit smoking (I know - I'm a quitter). I'm an assistant manager in a PC world Store and I don't want to be. I generally hate my job and I'm engaged, and my fianc

Dao loves all forms of personal communication. But if you are sensitive to it, you should be warned that he tends to flower his prose with tales of butterflies and faeries. One time he even PM'd a dissertation upon why sunsets are more beautiful than sunrises. That right there was a brilliant piece of craftsmanship.

    We'll have to talk.

The fact that a sunrise is such strong symbolism for a fresh start, a new beginning, is argument enough to rise it above the dieing of another day, the absence of our source of light, life and warmth, the knowledge that another day's useless energy has been spent. . .

    ;)

In fact, as soon as I actually read those books I'd never heard of until I formed this guild, I'll be sure to work even more references from them into the WildCards.

I like my alcoholic content as high as possible, triple digits if we can get there. Is that still okay? Can I still join?

It is not important what you drink, merely that you are drinking something. We're sorta equal opportunity like that.

The funny thing is, they are actually very good for the most part, if tending to becoming incredible dark and depressing once you hit the eighties era. Mostly great characters, and some very unique twists on heroism, like Fortunato, the Tantric Mage. The Great and Powerful Turtle. Captain Trips. Dinosaur boy. Croyd Crenson, the Sleeper.

I'm many years removed form the books now, even decades, but the events and characters are memorable, and I recommend the series.

Wow. You are SO not WildCards material. Even accepting that sarcasm travels poorly through the internet, you'd have to think that I really can't be *that* irked by the comparison. We roll a little more laid-back than that, bro.
