    You have to redeem it at the in-game zen store, select the Bonus tab (next to the Hideouts tab, click the arrow to the right) and it should be there; just click on it and then on the claim button on the bottom right corner :)

    awesome! even though it's just one weekend I guess it's a nice idea to see if people actually are interested in coming back because of that. I just hope they make enough publicity so those interested actually learn about it. :)

    This reveals to me that the Z Store window isn't wide enough to include showing the Bonus tab.​​

    There are little arrows at the top to scroll the tabs tho, so it's fine.

    The free slot is also a Featured Item, showing up on the very first screen in the store.

    If i understand the newspost correctly, it means that you can claim the FF slot during this weekend only and you get to keep it after Black Friday promo ends

    I still say they should leave it in the stop and never remove it... that way EVERYONE gets a free one, period... not just "everyone who logs in for the weekend" but everyone who ever plays... everyone deserves to get 1 free form to try out and decide if they want to pay for more or not...​​

    I still think they did this wrong. They should give me an additional character slot for every player that logs in during this weekend.

    Well they have had try-out features before, where you could try out the named feature for a week. Unless I'm mixing that up with another game now.

    The only 'try out' I recall is that they used to do AT Rotation so you could try out each At for a week i think.

    As for the free freeform being limited time. I think it may be to do some research on player return/retention i.e will people stick around longer as silver if they have freeform.

    Who knows it may be a prelude to adding some sort of play to earn FF slot. I would love to see something akin to the subs veteran program for silvers, but along the lines of play X hours in game earn Y reward instead of simply have an account for Z days. That way players who actually are in-game contributing are being rewarded rather than someone who makes an account and beggars off for two years only to come back and get the same rewards. Just a thought.​​

    Yep, we are already painfully aware that the default offering of this game is not attracting or retaining many players.

    I have a feeling this weekend is a test. If it produces the results they want, they might do this more regularly, or even permanently in the future. I guess we'll see.

    My silver (second) account is being used to play one of each archetype as "Dark Vigilantes", so this was a weird bonus for that. Not that I didn't use it anyway, of course.

    there's nothing to fear, it's far easier to accidentally make something overpowered than it is to royally screw up... and if you have questions on powers asking in game or on the forums will get you answers pretty quickly​​

    About the only thing to keep in mind, Match 1 of your stats to your Energy Unlock, don't forget a Form, try to include a Block Enhancer, and You're free to pick up a heal... After that so long as you have a high damage attack &/or a good AoE your pretty well set and can just take whatever...​​
