- Healing yourself while flagged as "Battling Supervillains!" will no longer refresh the status timer.
- Addressed an issue that would cause a hero with the "Battling Supervillains!" status to be no longer attacked by regular enemies.

This build is available on PTS now, 9/16/2015
- Final fixes to the toxic bike FX points. Engine & firing points should be correct for both genders on all six bikes.
- Fixed a texture on a female version of a the toxic bike to be metal like the male version.
- Removed godbeams and overhead nameplates from the Action Figure versions of Medusa and Gravitar (as cute as that was).
- Updated notes on White Mist Aura and Black Mist Aura to note they are non-tintable.
- Updated Endbringer's Grasp power with new icon.
- Toxic Steel Blade Texture Fixes (All four color channels now work; Color 1 is primary)

- Tweaked the timewarp Aura to tile correctly.
- Made additional adjustments to the toxic bike skeletons
- Updated icon displays for upcoming ZEN Store auras and bikes.

- Processed VO audio and hooked up to various powerart files for Grond, Medusa and Gravitar.
- Adjusted some of the audio for Onslaught Villain powers.
- Fixed female toxic steel breast weighting
- optimized a number of textures from Toxic Steel, ravenswood, variable robot
- Added new icons to Toxic Rocket and Supercharger vehicle module items
_ Changed the "killme" command to "respawnme" to prevent an exploit in acquiring villain tokens.
- Updated the Crafting Event to work correctly and increased the bonus to crafting to 10%.

    It was mentioned that the Crafting bonus itself was buffed but were visuals updated so that the buff was more obvious? Currently Silver so I can't directly check this myself.

    Is /killme a villain token exploit or a hero token exploit? For heroes, it's not like playing Squishy McSquish is hard, and for villains you can just charge a turret, so I can't see how this makes a large difference either way (however, if it means you don't lose stars, it's still a QoL improvement).

    Now, if you actually want to make exploits difficult, or at least not worth the trouble:
    • Cap villains at 100 earned per transform; getting more than 20 legit kills is unlikely and would probably indicate zerging anyway.
    • Add 'Survive 5 minutes' to the villain mission, possibly in place of the 3 Onslaught targets (as Onslaught targets count towards the token requirements anyway).
    • On the hero side, change the way points are awarded to be 'every N% damage by players, apply rewards', and do something to prevent tagging. The easiest method is to only give credit to the person (or team) who did the damage, though that means support, unless teamed, will have a great deal of trouble getting anything; perhaps something like reward bursts (100' radius PBAoE) would be better.

    The visuals were indeed updated. We're actually not convinced this was ever working in the first place, but it definitely is now.

    The prices for the stuff in the onslaught vendor are still too high. For one character it will take 3,000 kills for the three subpar secondaries.

    Healing an onslaught defender still doesn't give you the battling onslaught buff. It looks like the aoe effects from passives like Fiery form still pull you into combat with an onslaught villain whether you want to be in combat with them or not.

    In it's current state, this is not ready to go live on Thursday.

    /killme still works and works exactly the same as it always has other than there is also /respawnme which works exactly the same as it? I don't really get what this change was supposed to do anyway but by the sounds of what you said /killme was supposed to be removed?

    Bug:

    Mind Break Rank 3 for some reason has adopted Medusa's TK Shatter SFX. This is not the case for any other rank of Mind Break. I would BEG the developers to apply the following suggestion to Mind Break.

    Suggestion:

    If the SFX for TK Shatter are linked to the GFX (which is Mind Break's Rank 3 GFX), simply change the SFX to that of EGO BLAST - Rank 3. Then apply that SFX to Mind Break (player version). The new SFX for TK Shatter may fit Medusa but they certainly do NOT fit Telepaths using Mind Break. If separating Mind Break and TK Shatter's SFX's is not possible at such a late stage, simply copy/paste Ego Blast Rank 3 SFX onto TK Shatter and Mind Break.

    PLEASE.

    Please Note:

    Mind Break on LIVE has NO SFX.

    It has not had any since it was introduced as a power in 2012 nor when New Telepathy was pushed to LIVE from PTS on 11th of July 2013.

    Ideally it should have the same or VERY similar SFX to Ego Blast on all ranks.

    I like the new lines that the Onslaught villains have. However, if I am on the move they seem to fade mid VO or cut out entirely...I'm assuming there's some sort of internal CD on when they speak because if using powers in succession then it can override other VO lines, and when this happens the first audio is cut out entirely.

    I'm a fan of the new icons for the auras too.

    I'll have to agree and say I'm confused about the introduction of /respawnme...is that a version of killme that won't grant tokens?

    Because both can be used on PTS currently, so if /respawnme just kills players in a different way then I think killme would have to be removed entirely to avoid people transforming then using /killme.

    As for the level scaling....

    CONCERN: My "Unfriendly Neighbourhood Medusa" who is level 13, when transformed into Onslaught Medusa has 975k HP...this seems to mean that players could exploit the Onslaught system by just creating a level 10 (which is when Onslaught Unlocks at) and transforming and having X amount of players come along and kill them.

    I'd suggest putting the HP back up to 3 million/3 million/5.5 million (Medusa/Gravitar/Grond), to avoid this...or increase the level requirement for participating in Onslaught.

    Yeah I was expecting something like:

    "Ha! You not irradiated enough to defeat GROND shrimpy!" and other stuff he says in the Desert.

    They all sound quite different to what we are used to in game. Not many players know what Medusa sounds like but I do, and she sounds VERY different.

    Grond sounds a little petulant but also quite different to how he sounds in the desert.

    Gravitar sounds a little less aggressive but her lines are pretty good.

    Naturally I love ALL of Medusa's lines, but my favourite is "You're about to have a VERY bad headache!"

    BUG:

    All Mind Break users now have Medusa's Voice Over Lines whenever they use Mind Break. On TAP or CHARGE.

    How to replicate: Take Mind Break to Rank 3 and find a target. Now spam or full charge it. Repeatedly.

    This really needs to be fixed. (It's probably something to do with the VFX for TK Shatter being the same as Mind Break, as well as the animation, so the SFX is just sharing itself between the powers).

    I'd understand if it cannot be fixed before launch (due to time issues) but definitely after launch it would require fixing. I'd like to see SFX copied from other Telepathy powers and added onto several New Telepathy powers which don't have SFX.

    Mind Break - Apply Ego Blast's charge up and fire SFX to this please. Also please update the icon to make it look different from Ego Blast.

    Shadow of Doubt - Apply Ego Sprites SFX or something similar sounding?

    What's the point of having the Metal Glow material?

    Just put glow options on the channels under the Metal option and we can decide whether to use it or not.

    So... this is mostly a cosmetic point, but the lore behind this mission makes no sense, and the actual mission objectives are really boring. I'd like an alternative:
    • The Hook: Teleios needs samples so he can continue his work. Samples of superheroes. And, since Millennium City is home to so many superheroes, it's the natural place to start.
    • PvP Play: rather than 5 Villain Cred, every defeated superhero generates a Hero DNA Sample, which you then turn in for 5 villain cred.
    • PvE Play: change Onslaught objectives from random checkpoints in the streets to, instead, target Patrolling (NPC) Superheroes (make them Legendary, but not with the silly damage of the current MCPD defenders). I suggest using heroes from Bunker Buster, there are 18 of them that are otherwise mostly unused (can use two per point).

    Thank you for the speedy update!

    - Healing yourself while flagged as "Battling Supervillains!" will no longer refresh the status timer.

    BUG: I don't think this fix is working properly. Re-tested with Sentinel Aura, Conviction, and Heroic Resonance; all three still refreshed the timer on "Battling Supervillains!", regardless of whether damage was healed.


    -EDIT-
    I did some further testing with a stopwatch. When Battling Supervillains is triggered, the effect is refreshed with self-healing for 3 minutes after the trigger. However, once that 3 minutes is up, the timer begins counting down normally, and is not refreshed by self-healing. So if you have Sentinel Aura (for example) and leave combat with a villain, you'll have the Battling Supervillains status for 6 minutes.

    While I think this is a bug, I sort of like it, and if it can be made sure to work properly, it's a feature:

    A villain can challenge a hero (or team) who does not have the battling supervillains status to a duel. This puts people in normal dueling mode, which means neither combatant is attackable by third parties. Being able to have private 1v1 or 1v5 is not a bad thing, but it may have unintended consequences.

    Endbringer's grasp damage is out of control; it's 25-30k total damage, non-crit, on a reasonable dps build. First of all, it makes the mind control aspects totally irrelevant (nothing vulnerable to the mind control can survive), and secondly, it's an awful lot of damage anyway.

    Yay! Very happy to see this getting fixed.

    The "trick" I used on PTS to get rid of this was to actually stay dead for three minutes without respawning :P

    BUG: There is no reason to have a separate "Metal Glow" texture in the new lockbox costume set. There is already a UI mechanism in-place to control glow by setting a glow slider to 0. Cloth, Leather, and Metal textures should ALL have glow in them without needing additional textures. I really don't understand how this can not be known by the developers. Has the designer of this costume never used the tailor in-game?

    BUG: The costume scales strangely on male body sliders. You can see this effect if you view a male from the back, then gradually increase the body mass slider. You'll see a black rectangle grow in the upper middle back area. This black rectangle is a geometry flaw and not part of the costume, it cannot be coloured.

    BUG: All of the new auras are bind-to-character. Auras should be bind-to-account.​​

    BUG? The onslaught villains are only unlocking /character. I'm not sure if this intentional; or not, but it should have been better stated if it that was the case. I spent quite a bit on them, and I didn't know they were /character.​​

    BUG: Add Force Cascade (Rank 3 only) to this list. It now plays Gravitar's voiceover. Works on male characters too.

    Quick Note: The volume of the voiceovers is dependent on how close the camera is to your character.

    BUG: Sentinal Mastery heals Onslaught Villains (massively).

    SUGGESTION: Add some indication in combat log that player is in form of Onslaught Villain.

    Which aura were you using, and were you teamed with anyone at the time? While not flagged, I've tried floating around villain-fighting players with Sentinel Aura active, and it didn't flag me.

    I was on as my Radiant AT, so Seraphim aura and Sentinal Aura specialization. I was standing at the Onslaught Agent interacting with him when a Gravitar started attacking the group of us. Next thing I know, I'm killed. Somebody rezzed me, then Gravitar stomped me again. And again.​​

    Unlock Toxic Costume set for more areas. It's silly to have the set limited to only robotic areas and integrated shoulders.

    After further testing, I don't believe Sentinel Aura causes this. The Seraphim passive appears to be the culprit, as a toon of mine with only Seraphim gained the Onslaught tag by just standing nearby. My other toon that had only Sentinel Aura did not get the Onslaught flag from standing nearby. I am unsure of Medical Nanites cuz none of my toons has that passive.​​

    BUG: Being near a villain with Seraphim active flags the user with Battling Supervillains. I suspect this is because Seraphim's Balance advantage creates a damage aura; so the power without the advantage may still be generating a hostile AoE effect.

    BUG: Being near a villain with Seraphim active flags the user with Battling Supervillains. I suspect this is because Seraphim's Balance advantage creates a damage aura; so the power without the advantage may still be generating a hostile AoE effect.
    I do not have that advantage though, yet was still getting flagged.​​

    I was just hypothesizing why Seraphim was flagging, and not the other heal auras. I'm guessing that even without the advantage, Seraphim might be generating an inactive hostile aura which gains damage when the advantage is taken.

    BUG: Leveling up while transformed as a villain turns your villain Friendly.

    BUG: Sentinal Mastery heals Onslaught Villains (massively).

    SUGGESTION: Add some indication in combat log that player is in form of Onslaught Villain.

    Agreed on all of these.

    Sentinel Mastery healed me for around 150k when I was on Medusa, which is why I stayed alive so long.

    I have a bad feeling that INT PSS toons will have their penetration bonuses applied to their damage when in Onslaught mode.

    One more request...can we please have Onslaught Villains immune to repel effects? If not then please move the Onslaught Vendor closest to Kodiak, to nearer Carls Gym or somewhere less dangerous to levelling players?
