If tankiness, armor and defense actually meant anything meaningful in this game, Shadow Slip would be amazing. But thanks to the ridiculous stat stacking that's available, it's no longer a feasible skill. Shadow Slip should flat out make you untargettable.
Andy should be thanked 100%. He's our lobbyist and fought hard to repeal that nonsense patch they implemented. Andy has singlehandedly done what Congress has been unable to do for 50+ years now. Scott & team though. Yeah, no. Get back to the 9-5. You'll get my thanks when you can add something that you didn't break &…
Probably the best moderator pick I've seen yet and long over-due. He's a bit of a Dev team lapdog, but he's very clear that the statements he makes are of opinion and not of fact - and then provides a host of evidence (weak as it may be at times) to back it up. Tons of respect for that. Quality poster, quality player,…
This is incorrect. I was banned (eventually it was lifted) for doing leadership tasks, invoking and running SCA multiple times a day on ONE account. I literally had to prove to them that I didn't bot during the audited period. I've logged in once since then. They are auditing and banning accounts at the cyclic rate at this…
Hey Andy, My only comment here is this: Players first. At any point myself, and anyone else can just leave the game - which quite a few of us are doing. This game has more bots than players at this point. 3 weeks and I haven't even so much as updated this game or logged into gateway. But I'm just one person. Take it as you…
Left this game for ESO, not coming back for ANY reason. I'm tired of begging for a fun game again on the forums, I'll just beg from my wallet. Best thing Neverwinter has done for me in the past year is force me to quit out of utter disgust.
I refuse to so much as invoke until this is fixed. It has utterly made the game boring for my main character. How did this bug even survive a few simple playtests?
Andy, 1) I would be in total agreeance if there was ANYTHING TO DO in this game pre 70. Like...ANYTHING. Why not just make IWD/DR/Shar all level 60-70 scaled to your level that way by the time the casual player hits 70 he's got a vast majority of his/her boons? In ESO my level doesn't matter at all because I can just do…
Who makes these design decisions? Seriously? Developers do yourselves a favor. Bring out Mod 2 Neverwinter and play endgame content for a few hours. Bring out this mod and play endgame content for a few hours. Then realize how utterly ridiculous this vision of the game is taking us.
Yeah, if I had to give just 1, and only ONE suggestion. It would be the Foundry. I've played some excellent quests, unfortunately more often than not, multiple zone foundry quests get bugged out of this world and it's not on the author. Foundry needs to get a HUGE update. The biggest reason why is because no one wants to…
It's not useless, but the incoming heal bonus should be doubled. Helmite Paladin's seal when you have INC healing bonus stacked to the gills is STRONK. For my Sentinel, it is almost ranging on cheese level.
Also, PVE is a pain and not very fun, and is a complete joke compared to Mods 1-3 PVE. Mod 1-3 PVE was incredibly fun because the fights were hectic and relied on good team balance. There were a few broken mechanics, but nothing so tremendously broken that a simple PUG dungeon wouldn't be fun. Now, current fights are just…
Hey Andy, I'd like to bring attention to a critical point that will make or break Mod 7. Class Balance. Class Balance. And more Class Balance. Not necessarily balancing them with eachother, but balancing each class with itself. Without this, Strongholds will effectively alienate a majority of the casual players who just…
I typically just use Supremacy of Steel, VM or Terrifying Impact in PVE. I only use Fighters Recovery on the first go of a boss fight because of its bugged damage.
Yeah, but in EQ max level didn't mean anything. Leveling up to max level was not the focus nor was it required, neither was getting awesome gear. It certainly would help, but you didn't need it. A level 50 cleric still rocking his Mithril BP, Stein and Summoned Weapon could do a near-comparable job of healing and buffing…
OBP Protector is more like a meat sponge. His agro management and constant need to position him/herself sucks, but the damage mitigation is top notch. In T2s, an OBP protector is simply not enough. You MUST have an offtank GFs are MUCH better at maintaining agro than the OBP and holding mobs in place so the DPSers and…
Life-steal wasn't really nerfed, they just flipped the values between severity and chance. I'd prefer to see life steal further nerfed with regeneration getting returned back to normal and doubling up the incoming healing bonus #'s ala recovery and recharge time. My GF has 8% lifesteal and guarded assault is the only…
So I got my Sentinel to 60 today. In PVP he's some sort of man-god. Tanky as hell, can hold off the OPs and creates a massive amount of issues for the enemy team due to his mobility. In PVE he really, REALLY lacks damage. I'm not ever dropping below 3/4 of my HP, but it takes so painfully long to kill a monster compared to…
Devotion Pally is really well done. It needs a few minor adjustments to be balanced. Protection Pally is broken. That temporary HP has to be an incorrect value.
Scott has done a tremendous job thusfar during Mod 6 fixing the horde of broken HAMSTER. However, his team suffers from lack of pride. It's blatantly obvious that they are not profoundly proud of their work. The developers are working the hours they are paid for - and that's it. Someone who has…
I don't agree with the premise of his argument, but I agree with the observations. The only reason these ridiculous levels of healing are required is because of instagibbing mobs - ultimately the same reason you need MAXIMUM DPS. Fights should be long drawn out affairs that don't devolve into "SPAM SKILLS WILDLY!!!!!!1!"…
