My only qualm with the set is that it strongly favors classes with already very high damage who can achieve very high or 100% crit change (cough, TR and CW), not to mention the STR/DEX ability stats are ideal for TR damage as well.

+1 Yes 100% agree. The reason matches run so long include immortal DC and Pal and other broken mechanics. Match should run 15-20 minutes tops - most points at time limit (or first overtime lead) wins. Love it.
So your 45 minutes into a match and you have to pee and your hand hurts, but a 60 sec timeout is an unacceptable, a bad idea. Got it. Timeouts would be very annoying in short matches - I think the best compromise would be to have a single timeout become available once a match exceeds 30 min but not before that.
