Just to be absolutely clear on this. The issue every player is having with the recent addons is "NO CONTENT" From what we see as the player base is that you have cookie cutted different areas and just changed the name and hue on some of mobs. Foundry authors have done a far far better job at adding content than any and all…
After a couple months away from Neverwinter I logged in yesterday to have a look and see what underdark had to offer. I Ran the Salvadore intro quest, Pwent sounding like a high pitched halfling is insulting. The single line quest with no addons or side quests was a letdown. I really hoped their was going to me more to it.…
I am logging in for the 1st time after a month break, I'll have a bit of a look around and talk to some guildies about what's been going on but overall from what I have seen, nothing significant has changed and if so well, I'll give it one more go next month before I wave bye bye.
I just read a good paper on Bots in games from Stanford and how they would recommend removing them from a game. Keeping Bots out of Online Games another good read is this Bots Problem in Online Games from International Journal of Soft Computing and Engineering (IJSCE)
I am telling you bots can and do the T1s, since no real rewards are in T2s atm they have not been doing T2s, and just because they are not doing it does not mean that they can't or have not already pre scripted it for if they do.
A Bot sells whatever they are farming for what they want to, in most cases they sell basic resources for crafting and enhancements from farming skill nodes or running a bot program tied to 5 accounts doing heroics or instances for hours/days on end. Now as I said above these "resources" are cheap for the player because…
I could go into detail as to how it was done however that would be breaking tos rules so I won't. However suffice to say if you do an hour or two of research on google I am sure you can come up with the same results I did. In the end "yes" botters can in fact bot dungeons.
I like most dungeons, the only thing I dislike is the adds doing the same or more damage than the bosses. Really mod 6 is kill the adds or wipe the party.
It is far far easier to to complete spin ward rise and the fiery pit then check "all" the quests and look at their rewards, I take the ones giving unified elements and aggregates, then make unifies from the aggregates, I was able to pump out 3-6 every few days and get 1-3 in game the same way, I later bought 4 purple…
I don't think penalizing players for buying AD will do much of anything. I think a great deal of the players that have done it probably felt that they had to since almost all other forms of gathering AD in game outside of leadership, which was severely nerfed with mod 6, were available to them. I personally bought zen and…
I'll tackle the question not the sarcasm so... This is assuming you get the best gear, with the best enchants, the best companions, the coolest mounts, the fashion set you want all tricked out etc.. Dominated all of PvE and PvP till you are just bored of logging in. At this point no matter the state of an economy or what…
Giving any item level 70 or whatever Ilvl is to be determined though the mail will have to go as well, person a buys from bot site botter mails it. Giving of an item level 1-69 (including rank 4's and/or 5's) could be available though trade/mail.
Disabling on gateway is a non solution, and here is why. Botters who are using gateway will simply change formats and start using "IN-GAME" bots creating in-game lag, I foresee Protectors Enclave being lag swamped worse than Spinward rise was at the start of Mod 6. This is not an effective temporary or permanent fix!
Ok so the old 60 maps are harder, DR, Sharandar, IWD, whatever... Why not do what you should in MMO's : LFG/Zone chat looking for group for dailies run. I have done this for the last 4 days and had a full party together in about 5-7 minuets (Not on peak times either). We did all the dailies in DR and Sharandar in about an…
1st off stay away from the campaign zones, it's a waste till you hit level 70. The Dragons Campaign from Harper Boward, is enough to get you started, just keep chugging along. Gear: Either buy *AH* or run the 3 person dungeons for it - this can also net you a "little" AD. AD: #1 *LEADERSHIP* #2 Crafting Crafting AD is…
