Yes, please do something. It's ruining RTQs. You have to waste your time going through 2-4 dead Demo instances until you get a real Q, one that's likely going to be another Demo where people leave immediately (or fail to load into the instance which only seems to be an issue with Demo, even before the revamp).
This bug still exists in today's patch. The illusions do nothing. They just stand around until they despawn. I've noticed that they have no weapons, unlike the illusions of other classes.
Every rebalancing upsets things. It's kind of necessary to keep things from getting stale. Market upsets aren't a bad thing either. My fancy Radiant Rank 15 enchantments are now "useless". HAMSTER happens. In return, my multi-stat enchantments that turned useless last rework are useful again. It's also these market upsets…
Meh, I like the changes. It's nice to be able to use non-augment companions without gimping yourself. It's also nice that building your char is now more than mindlessly stacking power. Sure, it needs some balancing but fundamentally it seems solid so far.
Years of experience have taught me one thing: if it's not explicitly stated what something does and said something can be confirmed in tests, it's broken. A stat that doesn't appear anywhere else but in a tooltip? Yea, that likely doesn't work. Especially considering that healers always get the short end of the stick. I…
Good to know, thanks. Looks like it's happening on Xbox too: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1257812/auction-posting-fees-vip And the devs at least know about the issue: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1257809/mount-changes-launch-thread
Just noticed the posting fees, too. Since when does this happen? I posted a bunch of expensive stuff 2 days ago. Got VIP rank 12. The things that sold don't mention a refunded posting fee. So I'm wondering if the game just ate a ton of my AD (by charging a posting fee and not refunding it) or if it's a new enough bug that…
Unfortunately it has only been partially addressed. You can only convert intermediary materials. Final products (e.g. potions) still cannot be converted or turned in at +1.
Yea, what about healers? Vorpal is the only weapon enchantment that's of use to us. Everything else either requires offensive stats and powers or affects stats people have capped anyway. That's a huge nerf for healers whose crit-mechanic is already questionable. Are we going to get thrown under the bus for all of this?
"Divine Protection" all the way at the bottom of the powers page in the general section. It's kind of an unfortunate boon: easy to overlook and when you need it the most it's gone, so you have to add those 10k crit avoidance anyway.
Same with [Potion of Defense Rank 10, +1]. When I double click the potion it is consumed. I get "[System Notify] You used Potion of Defense Rank 10, +1." but nothing happens. There's no stat increase and no buff icon.
Why would anyone buy them? They're much worse than Rank 10s which are already dirt cheap ... relatively speaking. On top of that, anything but power barely sold even before rank 10s existed. Do the rank 8 +1s even work? Some of the other +1s don't.
Thank you. I tried the critical strike ones and they work. Unfortunately another issue is that the +1 version doesn't count for the quest. I guess this is the end for me as far as masterwork is concerned. Don't really feel like throwing away all the now useless +1s I would get as waste byproducts.
Same goes for the later quest "Fizz Fizz Bang Bang (Alchemy)". It asks for Effervescent Tidespan Potions, Potions of Reflexes and Potions of Accuracy. Does anyone know what the right potions are? I'm assuming rank 8s but what are the correct stats?
Same here. I get the message my Gathering increased to 71 every time I collect something but it never actually does. It stays at 70. I have 1,045,302 / 538,345 XP by now. Considering I couldn't find any 76+ gathering materials on the AH I assume this might affect everybody.
That's my experience looking for a TOMM group, too. The absurd thing is, they overhauled the whole game in mod 16 because healing was useless as everyone was either at full health or one-hit dead. Only took a few months and we're right back where we started :p
That's why I probably won't finish CODG. There are two groups of players: those that know how to do it and only do it in "EXP" groups and those who haven't had the chance to learn. That's the big problem: you cannot learn the mechanics anymore. It's a unique mechanic you cannot train anywhere else. It requires perfect…
I'm having the same issue on Uprising daily mission maps with my Cleric. I usually open up with "Searing Javelin" and it does 0 damage on the first hit. As far as I remember it's usually Illithid mobs. This happens so consistently that I wondered whether they have some sort of ability that reduces the first hit to 0 or…
There are a few powers that appear to ignore accuracy and have a very high deflect rate. For example my Paladin's "Bane" and my war triceratop's "Trample". The latter also appears to ignore critical strike. I haven't run ACT but on a level 80 map (e.g. Lost City of Omu or River District) I would guesstimate around 30-50%…
Has this been fixed in the latest patch? I've been getting consistent +1s again since yesterday (did not apply to delivered products in the chest from before the patch but everything I crafted afterwards). Also, the buttons to instantly finish a product with morale work again more than once.
Thanks for the effort. Sounds like you need twice as much crit as power just to get around 50% crits. For endgame I don't see that as sensible at all. You'd lose a ton of base healing by giving up power and 50% isn't exactly reliable. For me that means I'll continue focusing on power like before and not worry too much…
I'm having the same issue. When I tried to do that quest two days ago (sunday) and the ice wall before the boss crystal did not open. I tried doing that quest twice and both times I couldn't get past that ice wall. Another player from my alliance had this bug, too, yesterday (monday).
Did you abandon the quest "Sphere of Influence"? You need to be on that quest to get drops. Maybe completing it might work too but I don't know about that.
Seems to be a general bug in professions. Even with 100% I occasionally get regular non-+1 results. I've had it happen with potions and refined materials. Happens with the gond hammer tool and with legendary tools.
Soloing means lots of groups of enemies which is why I use Bane. At-wills are rather worthless damage-wise. They're barely better than doing nothing. Which is why I don't use Sacred Weapon in my solo/DPS setup. I do use it in my tank setup but only for the extra threat from the feat. As far as healing solo goes I use all…
It is? I use Oathkeeper for damage. Good enough for soloing anyway. I use Smite, Bane and Burning Light. Nothing to compete with actual damage classes, though. The "Spirit of Austerity" feat reduces divinity cost more than it reduces damage. Over time you come out ahead. Oathkeeper can also regenerate divinity via TAB,…
It's not just a tooltip bug. I just beat on a dummy for 5-10 minutes and didn't see a single tenebrous enchantment proc. Edit: I used 3 tenebrous enchantments during that test. A level 13, 14 and 15 each, which should be about a 21% chance to proc.
This info is either wrong or it's bugged. I already did the tutorial quest that "should only require one successful expedition completion and etching collection". I'm now on the quest where I have to collect 5 etchings of the same kind for an rune-etched orb ("Sphere of Influence"). This one requires up to 17 expedition…
For some reason resonance started dropping from other colors for me today. No idea what caused it but so far all colors in different zones drop resonance.
