Gathering level is not increasing

I receive a notification when collecting from the delivery box that my Gathering profession had increased to level 71. When I check the job board, my gathering profession lists Level 70, with 553,060 / 538,345 experience when hovering over the completely full bar. Also, I do not have any level 76 gathering tasks available. (greyed out, to high level)

    Same here. I get the message my Gathering increased to 71 every time I collect something but it never actually does. It stays at 70. I have 1,045,302 / 538,345 XP by now.

    Considering I couldn't find any 76+ gathering materials on the AH I assume this might affect everybody.

    Same here, after collecting this morning my gathering exp bar was at 874k/550k, yet gathering was still at 70. Now everytime I change zones on that character I get a message saying Gathering has increased to 71, Leadership has increased to 71, but the level has not advanced beyond 70. Could it be some left over code from when you (devs) changed Leadership to Gathering? maybe not removing somehing, or not updating the old code to include levels 71-80. I know Bay Area weekends are great, but when you mess up a patch as badly as the one on friday, maybe a few people come in on saturday to figure out what went wrong?

    I believe this was observed while still in preview and documented . And they held this profession upgrade back from mod 17 live start as they said they had problems with the recipes . Good to see their guality control is still up to scratch .

    On a side note:
    [System Notify] Your rank in Leadership has increased to 72.

    This system notify is displayed as well as the one for Gathering

    I really like the new system and there are some items I could really see as useful, but like the others, I can't advance gathering. 859k/539k just like on preview. Some of my chars do show 72, but not progressing.

    Yes, this is broken. What a surprise as it wasn't fixed from it's previous broken state.

    WHERE IS THE FIX FOR MW IV PROFESSION TURN INS PLEASE? WE are on month 10.

    At least the XP isn't being forgotten about so if/when a fix is put in, the profession will hopefully jump up to where it should be.

    2,300,000 xp and counting announced that Gathering (and Leadership???) were both Rank 73. that could be part of the problem.

    and what about the new legendary and epic items for profesion ? will they be released whit a new set of masterwork recipes ??
    since ms1,2,3,4 is for lev 70 right ?????
