A part of me thinks people are getting ahead of themselves with this terror fad. It's too good to be true and we all know 90% of enchants don't work as how nicely they're worded in their description. Plus after release (or even before) changes can be made. It's way to early to count your chickens. My opinion anyway.

I was talking about very minute bonus that these companions gave the owner while ACTIVE not SUMMONED i.e %1crit severity buff. so the companion isn't actually doing anything... New artifacts and new boons are the only valid points you brought up. not everyone will roll a hunter and the gear isn't new it's just same old stats recycled with new wep skins....
I tested it in test server and 100% sure it proc'd twice in one min (i would say 3 times even, but not certain on that) it works while guarding. And that was 1 greater slotted in my ring. haven't tested it on normal server yet so maybe there is still hope? I'll run 2x greaters if things go as it showed on test sever…
I'm working on it after patch i should have 14% life steal. 50% Damage reduction around 800 regen. paired with ferocious reaction and supremacy of steel and bloodtheft annnndd th new artifacts that give a HoT. I'll be immortal as it is now takes it takes 2-3 people to kill me
I have 52.5% dmg reduc and 25% deflection is it worth still stacking dmg reduction? I want to invest in dmg reduc enhancement there's and armour one that has a chance of giving 10% dmg reduc lesser something...
Yeh i would say that's GF selling point near impossible to kill them 1v1. But i still think it's down to skill like you say you can handle a few inexperienced GF's
