The problem is, that the game needs a new, more or less constant Dil-sink. Introducing new stuff to buy for Dil (new holdings, items etc.) might work for a short time but once everyone has catched up we are back at the same problem. So the game needs a sink that will constantly draw dil away from the Dil-Exchange.

It will defenitely not satisfy me, because I think the Defiant is one of the ugliest ships in the whole galaxy. Even if the T6 Valiant turned out to be an uber-escort (even though I highly doubt that) and someone would give it to me for free, I still won't fly it if it looks remotely like the Defiant.

An uni BOFF is nice, but it is still only an ensing, which only gets you so far. And the ship still suffers from the Hybrid slot sitting on the only Engine-BOFF-Slot. If they move the Hybrid to the Tac instead of Eng or upgrade the Universal to a Ltd (or even LtdCom) it might be worth my zen, but not the way the ship is…

I would not say that "better" is the right word, I would rather say "more adaptable". I will not deny that there are some very good builds that can work just fine with the Hestia, but the number of viable builds is rather small compared to other ships. That is also my main problem. Every T6 ship (beside the Excelsior) has an universal slot, most of them better than ensing. And the hybrid slot is almost always not on a station that has only one option (like here the single eng slot). So what's the point of breaking that rule with this ship (and the T6 Excelsior)?…
