  • Same issue. Alerted to new mail, flashes with items for a fraction of a second, then nothing. Only displaying mail from 1/1/2013 and earlier...Many of those are expired listings that are empty as well. I never received the items back. And to think I just spent money on my Romulan...The toon I was trying to outfit with the…
  • Akira was also drastically remodeled. Originally, at launch, it didn't have the saucer trailing edge engines, the "turbochargers" on the catamarans were textured, not modeled, and a whole lot of other problems.
  • Steamrunner's a $25.00 ship. Giving a ship with Steamrunner's capability + battlecloak away to everyone who so much as lifts a finger to get it, for free, would be incredibly stupid.
  • Mawdz.. Also, lol. So when Feds aren't wanting our ships or our Orion women, they want our contraband?
  • Attack Pattern. The differences between the CRF2 and CRF3 isn't enough to justify wasting the spot. Really, you could probably even get away with.. TT1-->CRF1(Or BO1)-->HY3-->AP of choice (Usually APO) That's generally how my Cmdr slots look on my rigs when I use torps.
  • I run mine, very successfully, as a torp boat. Beam Overload on both tacs to bring down shields Two copies of HY3 3 forward, 2 rear photons 3 projectile officer doffs A torp every 1.5 seconds, front or rear, which means I can still deal good DPS from 9.99k out while drawing minimal agro. It's massively effective against…
  • They should've used it after Insurrection was filmed, then. Voyager ran for 3 years after Insurrection ended. It would've been okay to use the Aeroshuttle since the fans would've already been familiar with embarking craft integrated into the hull. And apparently they're not uncommon at all on Federation ships. Galaxy had a…
  • I could also show you the South Dakota (BB-57), which held flagship status, and was actually lesser armed then her sister ships (Massachusetts, Alabama, Indiana) in that she had a reduced secondary battery (16 5"/38 guns as opposed to 20 5"/38 guns), so was technically less powerful...
  • Further down that page, it shows a screenshot of the Enterprise-F in separation mode, so that means that it's an Odyssey Operations variant. My bad. The point stands that the Federation flagship is an Odyssey-class ship and not the omgwtf overpowered monster that the person I was replying to was suggesting a flagship…
  • The Enterprise-F is an Odyssey Tac, according to the STO wiki. Which means that the Odyssey Tac. is the fleet-wide flagship. Enterprise-D was the Federation flagship, but the Galaxy-class was the fleet-wide flagship.
  • Delta Flyer couldn't be anywhere near as big as a Danube and fit inside Voyager's shuttlebay, which was just barely big enough to house the Type-9 shuttles it did. The Delta Flyer's size has been a matter of dispute for a long time, but it's nowhere near the size of a Danube nor should it ever even be considered anywhere…
  • The Odyssey Tac is currently the Federation flagship.
  • Because a lot of these ships were, at one point in time, fleet flagships. Consitution was Excelsior was Ambassador was Galaxy was Sovereign was Odyssey is Where is it written that a flagship has to be godmode? Of all the ships above, which one is the godmode ubercruiser you propose? Not a single one of them..
  • I ended up answering my own question. The quad cannons definitely take advantage of weapons power, but do not draw any weapons power while firing.
  • Well that's pretty much a given, seeing as how they've never given a free ship that they didn't turn around and sell to those who missed/were too lazy to participate in the event.
  • There's nothing "cruiser" about the Breen ship. *It has no Cmdr engineering station. All cruisers do, including Klingon Battlecruisers. *It only has 3 engineering consoles. All tier 5 cruisers have at least 4, including Klingon Battlecruisers. *It has a turn rate of 13. Higher than any cruiser. Including Klingon…
  • In my rather humble opinion, that'd be a massive waste of this ship's enormous potential.
  • You're just using the wrong Netbook! Need an M11x The only netbook so awesome that Cruisers explode out of the screen. Also, this Klingon says so. Need anymore reasons?
  • I remember playing NavyFIELD on an Asus Eee 2g Surf.. That was good times..
  • Fleet Tor'Kaht is hands down the best ship the Klingons have access to right now. It's so ridiculously flexible that it's almost insane. It's tough, it can turn really well, it's got immense firepower, it's got great seating, it's a 10 console, 8 weapon boat, 1.1 shield modifier.. Seriously, the Fleet Tor'Kaht is the only…
  • You know this game is as much Star Trek as Star Fleet Battles was, right? You know, the Star Trek-based IP that wasn't even allowed to use the Star Trek name? The IP that Starfleet Command was based on? Stop using that argument. It's stupid. This game isn't Star Trek. It's "Fashion Show And Spaceships Online"..
  • Oh, we get content.. Just none of it is Star Trek.. Oo, scarves, winter coats, snowball-shooting guns and pokemon to breed! Yeah. That's not why I play a Star Trek game..
  • Rigel-class Starship Tier 3 heavy cruiser. She's an older ship by this point, of course, but as a smaller 2320s/2330s counterpart to the Ambassador, she'd have less then 100 years on her hull! That's no time!
  • Bump. So, modeler-dude, we seem to have a general consensus on quite a few things here. 1) Impulse engines should be on the saucer. 2) It needs floodlights on the registry. Can we please have this changed? We're not asking for major remodeling work here since the engines are already modeled into the saucer, just textured…
  • Things that are immersion-breaking for me. 1) Federation officers commanding Alien ships. Especially enemy ships. And seeing said ships in multitude in ESD space. 2) The scale of interiors. They're gigantic. ESD feels like you're in a cathedral, not a station that, while huge, is still limited on space. Ship corridors, and…
  • There's a Foundry mission for KDF where you end up going forward in time and you can talk to this teenage NPC and every dialog box has a "Hit him." option. xD Most immersive KDF mission I've played yet. You can call people cowards, be a general ******* and watch Feds cower in fear (literally) at your awesomeness. Best KDF…
  • The way I see it, if the DBB's in it's firing cone, there's no reason cannons shouldn't be too. I occasionally run a DBB on my Tor'Kaht, but it was never for effectiveness. I know my effectiveness comes from cannons. It was because the DBB looked cool while firing with the cannons. I've recently discovered that quad…
  • Ah, that makes sense. And KHG XII is tier 4 or 5?
  • How would a Klingon go about getting the MACO stuff? I don't see it under the Reputation rewards. I'd actually rather have the MACO shield/deflector combo with the KHG engine, I think.
  • Why do people choose the Borg impulse? I've been planning my sets since I'll be hitting tier 4 soon and the bonuses the Borg impulse provide just don't seem to stack up against the likes of, say, the KHG engine. What am I missing? Honest question here. I know feds don't get access to the KHG stuff, but what's so special…
