Been gone for a while, but I'm back...so, gang, what have I missed in the last ten months or so?

I think you'd e fine, but I'm not the best person to answer this. I mean, I *think* you'd be fine...at worst, you'd be asked to use it as a "special" weapon in place of one of your energy weapons, but I don't really see that happening - that's just me, though. If you don't mind my asking, what ship are you running?

So, we actually ran a few Delta Patrols last night in T2-3 ships, one with a lone T4, and it was...ridiculously fun. On a side note, fitting a ship with upgraded retro phasers may cause you to want to jam a screwdriver in your ear. You have been warned.

Mine has worked ever since the one trip to Qo'nos, though I haven't bothered taking to the incompetent, useless creature on New Romulus that's marked as a trainer.

And, out of curiosity, what are the requirements to be able to buy fleet ships? I'm a rank away with my current fleet, with no signs of increase in rank without dramatic investment, and there's no point in changing if it's going to be the same way.

I got it to work by trying the boff trainer on Qo'nos in the First City, logging out, and then going back in. Worked perfectly when I got back in.

Well, TRIBBLE. >.< Anyone have an estimate? I've got money to burn, seven levels to go, and I wants me my Aelahl! Seriously, though, I'm usually nowhere near a computer when this happens, so I have no idea what to expect from them as far as how long the server will actually be down.
