Is not being able to train just me?

None of my Romulan Republic captains can train their Boffs, nor can they be trained by the Romulan trainer at Command Center, or the trainer in First City. Since I don't seen many complaints, do most RR players not have this problem?

    This has been around awhile not sure how long.
    I started a second Rommie and that one is broke also.
    I suspect it happened when I completed one of the Rommie missions and accepted Dvex onto my bridge.
    I went to the BO trainer on New Rommie Republic and it greyed out on me when I tried to train him.
    Now I can't train any of my Rommie BO.

    Should have been fixed long time ago. Not sure If I am coming back maybe few months when I cool off. Maybe. Or maybe not.

    Seems the KDF does not have as good as traits or anything else in this game these days.
    The new BattleCruiser is good but there is not enough balance and nothing seems to be done about it.

    That bug was the last straw. I think.

    havent seen that bug... but I have a Reman who cant use his Telekinetic trait... cant assign the combat power, it doesnt even show up. Ticketed it twice and havent heard anything back either

    Same here can't train anything on one of my Romulans, bridge officer trainer is grayed out .

    Tried it as an RRK, can't train ANYTHING. RRF is fine...

    It is a good plan, but for the search function not working so well. Sometimes I have luck with google... or at least better luck.

    I made this post after not seeing any threads. It was especially strange to not seeing this in this particular sub forum, or general discussion. I guess this being a problem (along with not having stable hotbars) for only KDF aligned Romulans, makes it a low priority.

    Yep. I can't even choose the new specialisations as RRK, or KDF, the points are there I am just not being allowed to spend them. RRF or Fed side everything works as normal.

    I didn't notice an issue with spec points. Are you seeing an error about invalid skills?

    Nope, just the purchase button is greyed out even though I have to points to spend. It does seem to be only affecting my RRK, though I haven't paid much attention to the KDF character as it is a DOFFer. My RRFs have no problem.

    double check to make sure all of your skill points have been spent.

    If that's not it, then yeah, it's probably an extension of the training bug, whatever that is...

    All skill ponts spent. Not in the game at the moment due to works going on. As soon as I can I will get some screen shots to show you what I mean in this area.

    Okay here are my SS:

    This is from my RRK as you can see I have 1 point to spend and have the purchase button is greyed out when one of the skills is selected:

    This is from my RRF. There are no points as I have purchesed a skill, however the purchase button is there and even lit up:

    The problem with my KDF character is gone so might have just been a minor glitch, however it is still there for my RRK only.

    yeah, I hope this gets fixed soon. I tinkered with it last night and figured out that only the "Train Up" option you get from commissioning a Boff can be used to customize boffs as RRK. you can't use the skill trainer or do it yourself. :/

    Can't train my Boffs as RRK either. Not through my captain, not through a skilltrainer and not through "Train Up".

    hmm... what boff did you try using to train up? When I got it to work It was a KDF Boff that I used for train up.

    I got it to work by trying the boff trainer on Qo'nos in the First City, logging out, and then going back in. Worked perfectly when I got back in.

    Yeah the search option on this website never finds anything. None of my Romulan characters can train their BOFFs. They're all allied to the KDF.

    I have not been able to train my Rom/KDF boff since DR came out ive posted about it a few times crypticfrost said he verfied the bug, with in a week of DR coming out.
    Ive checked tribble patch notes and there is no fix or even a mention of it been a known issue.

    I had to talk to the boff trainer on qo'nos twice to get it to clear up but it did clear up

    Mine has worked ever since the one trip to Qo'nos, though I haven't bothered taking to the incompetent, useless creature on New Romulus that's marked as a trainer.
