I threw the Reman shield on mine from the mission Coliseum, and it looks AWESOME. Yes, unfortunately that means I can't change shields, but what the heck, it's only PVE, and for pvp, well, then you are buying the upgraded ones anyway, and you can recolor them somewhat.

Not to highjack, but how would the 2 piece borg set work on an escort, let's say the Tactical Escort Retrofit? My brother loves this ship, and wants to make it as durable as possible, so I told him to go 2piece borg and fleet shields. Should I have recommended a different deflector and engine combo?

Hmm, yeah I was thinking about that!!! TBR reverse and grav torp should bump up the aoe damage. I can switch the consoles too, the ship needs more power so my weapons hurt more, I notice they are quite weak. Thanks!

It's mostly for pve. I wouldn't mind taking it into pvp but that's usually for my tac captain who is already tweeked out. So yeah pve focus but hopefully not pure suck for pvp :) I could always carry different equip, officers or a different ship for pvp too. Thanks!!!

Quick question regarding BO abilities, specifically engineering. For the Commander slot on cruisers, your only rank 2 abilities are eject warp plasma and aceton beam...am I reading the rules wrong that these are the only ones allowed?

That's what I was thinking too when I put it together, though I wasn't sure which heal to put in. Something I could punch EPTA and an aux battery and then heal my hull up nicely. Just to prove this guys point, I tried out that build and it worked quite well. Especially in a team setting. The only question I have, instead of APO1, what about a BO3 or TS3? Take serious advantage of that ltcom slot?
