The nature of the bug makes it damn near impossible for devs to catch it because only becomes obvious when a whole ton of people are playing at the same time, and entering and leaving the zone with all sorts of different timings. The mission scripts probably worked perfectly every time for them before they posted it to…
I'm okay with a lot of this. Some of it I even like. What'm I'm NOT okay with is killing projects in progress at the end of the event, and retiring the goodies. There's all ready too many things Delta Recruits can;t do or get, so please, sop adding to the pile! As far as I'm concerned, the ONLY VALID reason for taking away…
I don't see them all that often on space maps either. I used to be able to get two each time I flew through any of the three DS9 sector block groups. Now, I'm lucky if I see one total a day.
Come to think of it... has Pluto ever been referred to in cannon after 2293? Maybe they Klingons really DID build a base there and the Federation had to take it out.
Another issue in Surface Tension is the Undine infiltrator is not present on New ESD, and with Memory Alpha axed, there's no longer any reference to him at all in the game outside the mission. It's no longer a shocking revelation; it's just the random name of a one-off character now.
All of these changes have to do with a single room on Starfleet Academy: 1. REDUCE Lt. Ferra's interact range. I can talk to him from every other interact in the room and it gets in the way. 2. Increase the interact range of both the personnel officer and the Path to 2409 dispensing computer. You have to be practically on…
I feel more bad about fixing the plasma doping bug, considering it was two years old. Considering it wasn't as broken as, say 10x penetration, people were justified in thinking that plasma doping was here to stay because Cryptic forgets about every bug it doesn't fix within a few months.
If you haven't learned it by now, all sales start on patch day. If it's not patch day, wait and see first. Or, better yet, never buy anything from the CStore that isn't on sale. Eventually everything goes on sale.
I hate it when people wave that word around in response to player criticism, as it tends to ignore the fact that PWE isn't entitled to anything, either. I mean, every time I read that word, as though PWE is making a game for the world to enjoy out of the pure goodness of their own hearts and how dare anybody ask them to…
It's to the point that event's are almost all that I play. I work 50 hours a week, so I can't devote a lot of time to STO unless that's the only thing I want to do with my down time. One things that drives me crazy though, is when they run a bonus weekend during an event. I just don't have time to take advantage of both.…
My question got asked on the air. YEA! My question wasn't answered because you interrupted the answer to point out the giant tails and then asked a different question after. BOO!
We're already at half of the number KDF T5 C-Store ships, so I'm also concerned there won't be so many more KDF T6s. Heck, we never got a T5 C-Store raptor; please pass on to the team that even though we know there won't be as many KDF ships as FED ones, to please eventually include one T6 faction ship of each type…
I love circular saucers and above-saucer nacelles. It looks like there's at least one each of those design elements in the Federation command ship variants. 1. Will we be seeing those more often on future ships, or is this an exception to the wedge aesthetic FED ships have been taking since the…
I think we kind of have the "2409 refit" version of that as the Guardian class. Looked kind of blatant, to me, but I might be trying to see what i wanted to see.
All of the following have full Aegis sets with all pieces bound to character: T'Morrow@MaelDuin (should be T'ran, but renames are borked) Maduin@MaelDuin (with an extra engine part) Catherine@MaelDuin Abriel Luurd Futchar Boyd Surr@trinitycompleted (I regret nothing)
It occurs to me that a good temporary fix for FED Romulans is to reopen the "Q's Party" portal to the New Romulus Command Center. Won't do a thing for the Welcome to Spacedock trap, of course, but it's a start.
