That line really makes me think that STO is being canonized in some way. It’s definitely a leap between TNG and DS9’s “long-dead ancient Iconians” and DISCO’s “surviving members of the Iconian Empire.” IIRC, there was a rumor when PIC was coming out that the PIC writers/CBS consulted with the STO team. Considering how…
The Alliance uniform is looking fresh. You can't see it here because my away team is Federation only, but I colored the badge background blue for Feds, red for my Klink officer, and green for my Rom officer, as well as adding the shoulder patches.
Too early to tell for sure, but those Romulans didn't look particularly friendly. I was getting more of a X-Men vibe from that shot, with the Romulan guards holding "dangerous Borg" prisoners, whether those people were actually dangerous, Borg, or otherwise. Coupled with that shot of what might be Romulan ships approaching…
They certainly seem to be doing a lot with the Borg and the Romulans in this series. Fitting, as the show seems to be set in the late 2390's, about ten years after the Hobus supernova. I'm beyond hyped for Seven especially. I wonder if she'll go by Seven of Nine, or Annika Hansen?
Haven't visited this thread in a while. I just hopped on to see some cool new screenshots, and hot damn, I was not disappointed. @kurumimorishita you are a legend.
Slightly off topic, but let me thank all you peeps for keeping this thread clear of the toxicity that can often creep into fandoms. With the controversy over Star Trek: Discovery and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, all my favorite websites have just been filled with verbal abuse and hatred. But I can honestly say, I've always…
Oh boy. Religious ceremony and Star Trek combined? Get ready to reap the shitstorm. In all seriousness though, this is pretty intriguing. Wondering who what when where - all that good stuff.
This reminds me of the bio I wrote for my Jem'Hadar officer. They seem to be suggesting a storyline where we deal with Torg and some Son'a. I hope that's the case; the House of Martok never got full vengeance for M'ven and Alexander Rozhenko's deaths, and it would be nice to finally put one between Torg's eyes. Here's…
I did notice that. Unfortunately, my laptop's graphical capabilities are so low that I prefer to keep them near minimum, at which level those distortions only show up in the character creation screen, which is the one place I really don't want them.
With the lack of any real evidence for anything as of yet, it's a interesting idea. I kind of doubt it, but's as likely as anything else at this point.
